Clean facilities| Great location to downtown…read more We rented a trailer and needed a place to stay that was not too far from amenities in Leavenworth. This was an excellent choice. This is a small little RV park and campground, but I love how the owners take excellent care of the place. One guy was always out planting and watering the plants and flowers. Another guy was literally cleaning the bathrooms several times in the day. The restrooms are nice and clean!! (Showers are available too here) The campsites are alright, but if you have preference and/or a group, I highly recommend getting the lots 31, 32, 33 area. Wow, more room, away from the main road, more trees, and a couple boulders to climb on. It looks bigger than the spot we had, which was spot 4, next to the restrooms. Firepits are very small, but we still used it to make s'mores. They also have a little enclosed basketball area. Sites 17-30 are basically next to the main road. You will hear the road noise, especially if you're camping in a tent, but I still like staying at this campground because there's not many other options for an RV park. Across the street is a gas station and Safeway. You're within a minute or two from downtown too. If you're into climbing, you're not that far from Icicle Creek climbing area either. We would stay here again with friends if we camped/rented a trailer again.

This is a small campsite located walking distance from downtown leavenworth. We chose it for that…read morereason and it fit our needs perfectly. It's nothing special, but cost reflects that (so affordable!). We RV camped and found the water hookup was broken at our site. Also, it is extremely close to the main road which is very noisy. In all, gave 4 stars because I think the location beats all the rest if you want to walk downtown!

I'll give the pros and cons and you can decide for yourself…read more Pros Nice staff - we didn't care for the site we were assigned and they quickly gave us a much better site. Since the first site was in the middle of the lot in front of the store with no shade it wasn't hard to improve it. Clean restrooms - nice and clean facilities but usually crowded. 3 stalls and 3 showers in the one close to us was usually busy. Great store- open daily until 10pm is a nice convenience as well as having a Safeway 5 mins away. Activities for kids - if you have little ones they will love this place. They have daily activities for the kiddies as well as a pool and a path down to the river for a swim. There are basketball hoops, volleyball, playground and field to kick a ball. Proximity to town- very close to downtown Cons No space- they put a camp site in every nook and cranny they could. There are RV sites, tent sites, cabins all smashed together very close to one another. As well as in front of and behind. It felt like we were on top of each other. The roads throughout are one way and narrow so not enough room for a car to drive along side a walker or bike rider. 5 mph Too crowded- since there are so many sites and kid activities there are people and kids and dogs everywhere! We have a kid and 2 dogs so we get it but it just felt so cramped it was hard to relax. So depending on what you're looking for this may or may not be for you. If you want to get away from the busy city and want quiet nature time to spend with the family this isn't the place. If you want nonstop activities for the kids it is for you.

You can unwind quietly after a day of activity. After traveling around the country with our trailer I can confidently say this is one of my top choices to stay. This is my 2nd time here. The staff (Matt) was friendly and helpful. Helped us park and refilled our propane when we accidentally ran out. The laundry room has an app to use the machines. I really liked it because it notified me when my load was done and I didn't have to have a bunch of quarters. The bathroom was clean. It had toilets and showers. We used a fire stick for tv and our Netflix worked no problem. I hope to be back again!

The creek is beautiful to look at and listen to at night if you get a river front site…read more Unfortunately thats the only positive of this RV park. Not realizing the time change. We arrived 45 minutes early after driving for 8 1/2 hours from West Glacier MT. The host quickly pointed out that we would need to pay an extra $25.00 dollar fee (with taxes $27.10). We agreed because we were tired. The spaces are extremely close to each other. The fire rings are broken and hard to build a fire without smoke, intruding on your neighbors due to the close site proximity. The park is definitely not dog friendly, no where for dogs to play or do their business. Signs all over the park where dogs should not go or be, but they don't provide anywhere but an overgrown area behind the dumpsters with a sign to pick up but no doggie bags provided. It's clear the river front sites are their money makers because other areas of the park are in need of attention or under repair. The staff could be a littler more personable. On a couple of occasion we said good morning to no response. We left a day early without a refund and would of left earlier, but our next stop did not have openings.

We recently stayed at the Wenatchee RV Resort, which is located right behind the Squirrel Tree…read moreHotel and Restaurant, and it was a fantastic experience. The RV resort feels tucked away in the forest, giving it a cozy and secluded vibe. The sites have water and electric hookups (no sewer), and the bathrooms and showers were spotless. Showers operate with quarters, while the restrooms are free. The restaurant was a great bonus and really added to the stay. They serve breakfast, lunch, and dinner with hearty portions and delicious food. We loved that they also host weekly specials and events like free Bingo on Mondays, Taco Tuesday, Prime Rib Friday, and live music on Saturdays. Out back there is a spacious yard with picnic tables, yard games, and a stage for music, which makes it feel like a little community hub. There is also a gas station and convenience store next door, which came in handy for basics and propane tank refills. The location itself is perfect. It is only about 15 minutes to downtown Leavenworth's Bavarian village and very close to Lake Wenatchee State Park for outdoor adventures. A big shoutout to Vito, the host, who is very hands-on and attentive, especially in the restaurant. You can tell he takes pride in making sure guests are well taken care of. Prices were very reasonable for both the RV sites and the restaurant. The only thing I would suggest is adding a fenced-in dog run, but there are trails on the property where you can walk your dog, so it was not a big issue. Overall, this is a great spot if you want a peaceful RV stay with excellent food, fun activities, and close access to both Leavenworth and Lake Wenatchee. Highly recommend!

During the summer the park is packed with kids on bikes and scooters so you must be careful driving through the park. The 5mph speed limit is strictly enforced (good thing, there's lots of kids). We found the cleanliness of the park to be outstanding. In true KOA tradition we found the restrooms to be very well kept. We have noticed this throughout most of the country when staying at a KOA. I noticed that they had activities at least 5 days a week for the kids. They also had some activities for the wanta be kids (senior adults) in the activity room with Bingo and puzzles. The surroundings are stunning with snowcapped mountains all around us and a beautiful river running through the camp. We enjoyed our month-long stay and would definitely return for a future visit.

We located this RV park online as they had availability for arrival on a Thursday/departure on a Friday. Contact was made and it went extremely well as they were very knowledgeable and recommended the best way to maneuver our long 5th wheel into a spot that was adjacent to the pond. It was super easy to find. Layout was well planned out. The spots were plentiful. The pond is amazing for dogs. The pathways around the park - including to the Yakima River were well kept. The facilities were great and their store is one of the best I've ever been in. Highly recommend this park! We will be back

There is a large pond in the park that you can use for calm water activities. Our grandsons had a blast making friends, cycling and paddle boarding. There is plenty to do right here at Whispering Pines. There is a bounce pad, two nice playgrounds, a dog area, and as I mentioned before, the pond. The sites are large, level and nestled amongst the trees. There is plenty of wildlife for your viewing enjoyment. The park does have many rules in place for everyone's safety; and they do drive around in their little carts to enforce them. *Mind your manners and you shouldn't have any problems.

We had loop D 72-76 this year which backs up to the fence to the city park. We love it for the easy beach access. Only issue is, they do NOT close the gates at night and I have no idea why not. A party in our group had 2 electric scooters stolen from them and a charger. I understand stuff should be locked up but we've never experienced anything like that before at a campground. Two of the nights our kids were playing at the playground being kids and screaming as kids do and they were told by the person locking up the bathrooms at the City park that they had to be quiet. It was 10 PM and quiet hours at the RV park and the city park are 11 PM. He had no right to yell at our children 2 nights in a row. The last night we were there there was insanely loud Mexican music playing well after midnight in the city park parking lot. I wear earplugs when I sleep and I could still hear the music. It's ridiculous that the kids get yelled at for squealing at the playground not during quiet hours and yet there can be loud screeching tires, loud exhaust, and loud music playing well too quiet hours. Also, our site 74 had a HUGE dead spot of grass. I assume from a rug from previous camper killed it which is why they do not want rugs on the grass but it was incredibly frustrating for us as everytime someone went in and out of the trailer it drug in dirt and grit from the lack of grass. We were not a fan of that either. Wi-Fi is also not reliable if you're looking to stream or work. We did our usually waterslides trip and ropes course. You have to hit up the lakeshore drive in. Onion rings and bacon burger and shakes were on point. Another family in our group went to The Landing and got the fried rice and it was DELICIOUS!!! The icecream shop next door is legit too. Chelan RV Park please consider locking the gates to your faithful campers during quiet hours to prevent theft. We were told it's very common. Great to know...also, keep grass green and mowed. I've never seen the grass in our loop so long. We were there for 1 week and they only came behind our trailer to mow. We purposely moved our stuff so they could mow up to our trailer. Not having it mowed caused a LOT and I mean a LOT of gnat type bugs. They were EVERYWHERE. I was also surprised to find them spreading fertilizer on the grass before it was mowed and they didn't inform anyone which I thought was odd
