They are a favorite place to stop on First Fridays, when I can hardly get in the door! And the stream of new and fun fashions and accessories is non-stop. Service is friendly and personal, too. Still one of my favorite stops. This is like shopping in a dear friend's great closet. Although the store is tiny, the variety always surprises me, and the service can't be beat. I find interesting items I find nowhere else, and while their prices are consistent with other stores, their sale items make them more affordable. There is even a comfortable place to sit! I have purchased tops, purses, outerwear, scarves, jewelry, and other items. Easy to miss since it is north of Casa Bonita and before the train tracks, up a couple of stairs. But with such a uniquely-vintage location and terrific items and service, it is worth the extra steps. Easy parking right in front, or in the copious parking lots around the corner on Lake Street. No I do not work for them - I am just a huge fan and want to be sure they stay in town!

The shop has a sister adjoining store called Marigold, a perfect spot for hostess gifts, holiday ornaments, candles and table top items. Edie Boutique is conveniently located on Milwaukee Avenue with free street parking, within walking distance from the Metra station. Red flag right there. I had to call Visa's transaction dispute line just to get a working phone number, but surprise, no one answered. I left multiple messages requesting a call back to cancel my order--nothing. The email confirmation states there's a 3-5 business day delay in processing orders, yet somehow, the moment I tried to cancel, my order was miraculously packaged and shipped before they could even bother to return my call. Convenient, right? This company is shady, dishonest, and has zero regard for actual customer service. You'd be better off shredding your money than supporting a business that operates like this.
