From the initial design conversations, to install, and finally the hand-off and training on the system, you won't beat the level of professionalism here. These guys clearly know their craft and care about their customers! Our home is running on Control4, and while there's a bit of a learning curve at first once you start to understand what it can do it's an incredibly powerful system. Control4 essentially acts as the operating system for your home, allowing you to control lighting, audio, video, pool, climate, security, and more from one interface. So instead of juggling a dozen different random apps, Control4 integrates all of your devices and apps into a single platform so the whole house functions as one cohesive ecosystem. Ultimately, what really made the experience stand out, though, was absolutely the AHS team. Technology is only as good as the people who design and install it, and these guys were knowledgeable, patient, and clearly passionate about what they do. Install was clean, the training thorough, and they've held our hand every step of the way. I waited a…read morewhile to write this review, because I wanted to makes sure the customer service was just as great if I ever had an issue. I found Central Security on Yelp. Patrick answered when I called for service. It was down to Central Security and another home security company. Patrick explained everything to me and answered all of my questions. I was very appreciative of this because this was my first time owning a home security alarm system. I really love that since this would be my first time, there's no contact. I love that they believe in earning your business instead of being nice upfront and then not having to work to keep your business, because you're trapped in a contract. I signed up with Central Security and paid for my equipment upfront and my cameras. I just pay monthly for the active monitoring. One time after I was approached by another company a few momths after I been with Central Security, I called Patrick and let him know and he let me know he value my business and gave me a fair renegotiation on my monthly fee. The next month I bought another camera and has then install it. I'm also happy to report that the alarm does work I had a false alarm when I was away in away on a windy night and the wind push a an unlocked door open. The police ended showing up and the security center did call. Unfortunately I was sleeping at the time, but it was reassuring to know that the system really does work! I highly recommend Central Security. I've had excellent service, when they came to install the system they were punctual professional and fairly quick. We spoke with several companies, both big national providers and smaller local ones, and ultimately went with Securimax. What stood out was their local presence and the hands-on approach, especially from Jack, the CEO. The installation itself was fairly involved and took most of the day, but everything was handled smoothly and professionally. Since then, their service has continued to impress. They're very responsive whenever we have questions and have been flexible in helping us adjust or expand the system as our needs evolve. Overall, it's been a really positive experience.

The panels never worked right and had a tech on several occasions and was told it was my internet that was causing the problems. Finally, after 3 years on constant issues I called to cancel the service and was informed I needed to send an email and they would cancel. No one tried to keep us as customers and resolve the issues. Additionally, 2 wks after cancelling their service the monitoring station called us 15 times saying they were receiving trouble signals. When I talked to the monitoring station, they said they had not received any information about the cancellation. If you are looking for an alarm company think twice about using Securimax. Very unreliable

Their customer service is the worst! I had no problems whatsoever when it was FrontPoint but as…read moresoon as it changed to Alert360 things went down the hill. FrontPoint always provided the panel's battery replacement and new sensors for free, forget about it with Alert360. Whenever I tried to contact them to get assistance or to talk to a representative it took me about 30 minutes to be able to find a phone number to call them. Once I had them on the phone their assistance was of no help, some of the agents were even curt and didn't see to care about my issue. For financial reasons I had to cancel the service, last thing I remembered I was told with FrontPoint that there were no contracts and could cancel at any time without problems. Well, since moving to Alert360 it seems that one is under a contract since you have to give them 30 days notice to cancel or else you will be charged. Since I cancelled at the beginning of September they charged me for the month, ok that's fine, but I gave them my notification before October and guess what?! They went ahead and charged me for the month with no service! Ha! I called them twice to get the charge refunded (the woman that answered was pretty rude by the way), last agent I spoke to told me the refund should've been made right away on my first call! He said the refund would be posted in my back account within 5-7 days...it's already half month and no amount has been refunded so I had to dispute the charge which is still in process. Please don't trust this people and their business practices, they will screw you up any chance they get and you won't see a penny if you are asking for money back! **UPDATE: I received a call from one their representatives on October 29 telling me they had sent me a check on October 16 and I should get it shortly. Well, it is now November 7 and I still haven't received any check yet. I submitted a review at the ConsumerAffairs website and the BBB. My bank is also disputing and investigating this issue. I still don't recommend them and wouldn't go back to them even if their service was free... **UPDATE (11/22/24): The company called me to tell me that the check they had sent went back to them due to them missing to write down the apartment number (you would think they have the complete address since they're a security systems company! The irony!), fine, I gave the correct address and the agent says they'll resent the check. Next day, I received another call saying they couldn't send the check since they don't have the complete address! This company is just joking with me at this point! What type of training is the staff getting? They don't know how to write down notes in one's file??? It's ridiculous, a joke and a waste of time! My bank still dealing with the dispute (about two months ongoing now!) which they shouldn't have to...shm. I have updated every single complaint I put out there about this company (Google, Yahoo, BBB, Consumer Affairs, Yelp, etc.) so people will realize the kind of business this is and to PLEASE STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY AND FIND SOMETHING BETTER!

My video-gamer sons love being able to play games with Gigabit speeds! We have received excellent education and support along the way. They made it so that all lights, ceiling fans, and thermostats in our home could be run through Alexa, an app, or on preset schedules. This has made my life as a mom so much easier. On school days, I have our whole house scheduled to "wake-up" at a certain time so that I don't have to go to each of my four kids' rooms to wake them. "Wake-up" turns lights on, ceiling fans off, and the thermostat up a little. And a simple "Hey Alexa, turn on bedtime" turns off all lights and turns on all ceiling fans throughout the house. And when I leave my 2 story home each morning, I do not go room to room turning off the lights behind my kids. I say "Hey Alexa, turn everything off!", and she does! ACA Electronics has been great over the past few years to offer continued support, and they do a really good job of explaining things in a way that I can understand. They also wall-mounted all of our TVs. In our great room they installed a MantleMount above our fireplace. It can be lowered to a comfortable eye-level height when sitting, but raises to above the mantle when not in use. It's really tight on the wall and a very beautiful addition to our home. Throughout the whole process ACA has been great. They gave me an itemized estimate, then gave me options without overselling. During the installation they communicated well and the follow through was excellent. They kept the house clean while they were working and the final clean up was excellent too. I highly recommend using ACA Electronics for all your Internet and audio needs!

Cris worked with me to design a Ubiquiti system that fit our needs and budget and made multiple recommendations to make sure our needs were met without inflating cost. He then outfitted our 12,000sq ft warehouse with Wifi, magnetic door locks, complete camera coverage inside and out, and configured our console, switch, and NVR so it was up and running right out of the gate. During all of this we were actively setting up the warehouse with heavy machinery, racks, and workstations and Cris had no problem working with and around us so there was no interruption in our daily operations. His knowledge was invaluable in evaluating products and general IT configuration. He was always on time and stayed in contact regarding re-scheduling when there were multiple roadblocks on our end - like not having a ramp to get the lift outside. I would highly recommend Fusion for any IT installs.

First and foremost, Mary has fantastic communication. When I initially sent my quote request, she responded quickly and thoroughly. Throughout the process, I had multiple questions (new to this), and she took the time to carefully reply to each question via email. This level of responsiveness is super important to me especially when it's a field I'm not knowledgeable in. There are a lot of moving parts when alarming a house and it was important that I understood exactly what we were getting. Her team did a great job installing our new security system. Everyone was very nice and professional. They took the time to explain everything and asked our input (regarding placement, etc.) whenever necessary. Mary carefully went through everything in the app to get me set up and familiar with the interface. They were also very respectful of our home -- offering to either remove shoes or put on their own shoe covers (we're a shoe-free household with small children so this is important to us). I also really appreciated how customizable everything was. There are so many different options that are offered with the security system (including a lot of automation like locking doors and controlling lights, etc. that we weren't actually interested in). If you're a newbie like me, I'll break down the basic security options. It helps to have some understanding of what's available before you get started. I was a little overwhelmed but Mary was helpful in answering my questions. Anyway, you've got a keypad that controls your alarm system (arm/disarm). You can do that via app (even if not home) or key fob. Then you've got your various sensors. Obviously, the door open sensors are a must. They'll trigger the alarm if someone opens the door (when armed) and is unable to enter the proper disarm code. Then you've got the option of installing window open sensors. There are also glass break sensors (generally, one per small room or two for large rooms) that will notify you if a glass break is detected (or if house is armed, set off the alarm). Finally, you've got motion sensors (these are automatically turned off when you arm your system in stay mode versus away). Assuming you'll wire the doors, you need to decide if you want glass breaks and if so, whether they will cover full home or just most vulnerable areas; if you want window sensors and if so, on all or some windows (might depend on your window type and vulnerability to window being manually opened and whether glass breaks might be sufficient); and whether you want motion sensors and which areas you want them to cover. I'd recommend doing some preliminary research/planning on how these tools might fit your home and what coverage is necessary versus overkill. It depends on your layout, etc. Next, you've got cameras. They offer WiFi-based cameras (operated through alarm.com) and standard wired cameras. Video doorbells too. We replaced our Ring with their doorbell cam to centralize our camera controls. You can have everything controlled through the alarm.com app for convenience. The app is great -- very user-friendly. Anyway, there are a lot of other options available as well that I didn't even delve into. Thought I'd share the basics to get you started. Don't hesitate to use this company! They offer free in-person consultations and fantastic service -- professional, friendly, knowledgeable, and responsive. Oh and their rates seem reasonable and competitive.
