They seemed so indifferent to my project. I felt like I involved them early on only to feel like they didn't feel engaged. The work is high level in terms of install. They left me with audio not syncing to lips and I had to spend a considerable amount of time playing with the marantz amp, Gemini AI and tv to 'fix it'. My Bravío 9 tv picture and adjustments might have been configured. Or not. Who knows? I don't use this space a lot so was looking for a turn key solution. I had suggested another amp and they said you get this one without telling me why I wanted it. I ended up researching and overall the wattage is better and the receiver is better for my system but no one took the time to communicate the why on equipment. I felt like they were a better option then Best Buy install but ultimately left lacking. If I have a question today about the system i wouldn't feel comfortable reaching out with questions. Perfectionists. Technology Guru installed a Mantle Mount over the fireplace mantle in our home. The tile facing the fireplace is a complex form made out of natural stone. They painstakingly worked to provide the best fit without damaging the tile. They also come in very organized and work very cleanly. My new house was configured for ethernet but in the control panel the ends were not terminated. Also I needed ethernet added to the one room that it was not installed in. The tech was able to complete the services in under three hours, including dropping line in new room and terminating, testing all ends in the control panel. I was very impressed by the work that was completed, especially the cable management and ends terminated everything was done so neatly. The hourly rate of $200 seemed high but I'm not too bothered because of the work that was performed was extremely professional and clean. Chris (and Eric) just got done wiring up WiFi access points, a management console, upgraded routers, and a bunch of amps and speakers throughout the house and I couldn't be more ecstatic with the results. I've been wanting to have a fully capable solution for sometime and we finally got around to it. I'm tech savvy enough to be dangerous, but not thoroughly versed to do it right myself. Chris is a superb professional at everything he does! I originally met him last year when he was doing some contract installation work for Suddenlink and I was struck by how meticulous he was at not just setting my cable boxes like any other tech, but actually clamping and organizing all the cables to make things as neat as possible, something even I never tried to do. He stood out to me right then as I'd never seen any cable tech do that and I learnt that he had his own business but was also doing some installations for Suddenlink (he has since focused on his business fulltime) Soon afterwards, I hired him to mount ALL the TVs in my house and he did an AMAZING job on each and every one. He makes the TVs look just like pictures on the wall as he routes all cables from equipment to inside the wall then back out behind the TV which gives it such a clean look! To top it off, if you have a "cosmetic" issue with your TV mount such as cables showing, he comes back to fix it and make it perfect! Excellent customer service, and very reasonable prices. Chris also does way more than that, including full custom solutions where you can put all your equipment in a media closet and have nothing but the TV and remotes/game controllers in your room. Came out and put in Control 4 (a very sophisticated and expensive system). Also sold me a very expensive received (over $1,000) because he said the Sony I had (which was a few months old) would not support my system. I told the technician that my husband had Parkinsons and dropped things often so I didn't want anything fragile. He assured me his two year old threw his remote across the room with no problem. About a few months in, my husband dropped the remote (about 12-15 inches onto a hardwood floor). The remote went all black and never recovered. I called to ask about it and was told I had "damaged" it and there was nothing they could do. Warranty was no good since I damaged it. Have had nothing but problems with the whole (extremely expensive) system. I've called back to ask for assistance and was told he had taken ill and would not be returning, nor will he take my calls. I would not recommend this company. I'd like to add, in response to your response, that you were not "bombarded" with phone calls. At one point, you promised me a new remote. You said they had been on back order but when they came in, you would replace my faulty one. Then, you even went so far as to call and say they had arrived and you would be replacing mine. Then, you simply stopped taking my calls. Do you remember that, Chris? That is when you came up with the excuse that you were struggling with an illness and would not be replacing my remote. During the heavy rains, my whole system went out including wifi. I called Spectrum. They fixed my wifi but, again, the remote was completely dark. He looked at my whole system and said he had never seen such a mess of chords. He then called an AV specialist to try and help me, and that guy agreed that he had never seen anything like my system and sited several problems with how it was hooked up. After all this time, I now have a huge amount of money tied up in this disaster. Yes, you deserve this review. read more
