My only complaint is that I wish they were open later everyday!! Really! The food is excellent this is a clean restaurant. The staff's usually very friendly and accommodating. They pack the "take home" food very well which I appreciate since I am physically unable to go to the restaurant at this time. Their soups are always great too and you get a nice big serving.(even when you get them as part of your meal!) It's so nice to have a great family restaurant... Second time there. Natalie, our waitress, was excellent and made sure we had coffee in our cups at all times. Well done. The side of pancakes is equivalent to most places full order, they were huge and very good. My omelet was 1/2 the plate and the other 1/2 was filled with taters. This was about 1 1/2 the amount of food at other places. Prices are reasonable and I wont be eating dinner as I'm still full 5 hrs later....pending the flavors at Kopps. It's a must visit. read more

We had a party of 27 people for breakfast/lunch on Friday, June 27th. Once we arrived they had the area all set up for us ready to help all of us out. The server, Shawn (sp), did a great job getting everyone's order with details of what all came with each dish. She and her colleagues brought the food out as best as possible so everyone was able to enjoy it together. Food came hot and plentiful! With that amount of people things can get missed, but they didn't disappoint anybody who may have had something missing as they brought it very quickly to complete our orders. Always very attentive during our time at the restaurant. The place is conveniently located with plenty of parking around the restaurant too! If we lived closer it would make it in the rotation! Service was excellent and the owner was conscientious and considerate. However... Crepes with cream cheese and strawberries: The crepes were slimy and rubbery and too thick. The toxically sweet strawberry flavored sauce was poured on until the crepes were swimming in it. The strawberries were mushy w a strange aftertaste. The crepes were microwaved afterwards and some were burning hot while the other was room temp. One half star. Bacon: too thin, too gross 1 star Coffee: bitter, no real cream, no sweetener provided 1 star Ambiance: diner/breakfast generic 3 star Really too bad bc the owner seemed genuine and the server friendly. On my way out of town I stopped by for breakfast after seeing the Yelp picture of the country fried steak, it looked bigger than the commercial frozen crap so I thought it might be a real one. The place looks like the typical Greek breakfast place and not super dated with the booths, tables/chairs and the old school U lunch counter. I had no service issues on my visit and left completely satisfied with my breakfast. Ok I asked if the country fried steak was frozen or real and it was frozen so I will pass because I can buy that at Walmart and make that at home. I switched to the gyros off the spit on the menu with eggs that comes with fresh fruit or potatoes and toast. My breakfast didn't take long and it looked very good with a big portion of gyro meat, very generous I must say. My toast was sourdough and it was not the the artisan good kind but it was nicely toasted and buttered well which was good for the toast sandwich that I'm a big fan of. My eggs were cooked perfect but flat and the yoke broke just moving the first one. The fresh fruit was three kinds of Mellon red/orange/green and fantastic because it's on a chilled plate and cold, that's how you do it. The gyro meat was pretty tasty that was cut thick and not the greasy kind, I kept thinking that this has really good flavor with the eggs and toast sandwich with the tzatziki sauce spread on the toast. Dam the tzatziki sauce is fuc#ing good also, thick/creamy with that nice tangy flavor and chunks of cucumber. Wow this was a pretty good gyros and egg breakfast that caught me off guard because I never would have guessed that little Union Grove Wi would have good gyro meat at all. How I have missed this place all the years in Wi is amazing because I have driven past it many times over the years. read more

One of our favorites restaurants. Can't speak to lunch foods but if breakfast food is any indicator, you can't go wrong. Portions are more than adequate. Wife always always leaves with a take home box. Service is wonderful, rarely a wait for food or a table. We always feel welcome by Pete and his staff. My mom and I came here to just chat, have a nice morning, and get out of the house. It was our first time here as we had heard from friends that this was a must-try place. The service here was okay, the food was fine, and there were no cleanliness problems to note. First up, the service. Our waitress was nice and she came to check on us often. But, she did forget the orange juice that we mentioned, so we had someone else go get it for us. When we went up to the front to pay, the lady there had the type of attitude that we were bothering her, which for a nice morning that we wanted to have wasn't very nice. My family and I went here today after my father's burial ceremony at the Southern Wisconsin Veteran's cemetery. We had a group of about 17 people. My mom had called ahead to make a reservation, and even though we were a little early, the staff was so kind to us, and very accommodating. Our food was great, the service was phenomenal for a group of our size, and my cappuccino was one of the most delicious I've ever had. I am so thankful to the staff for their patience and kindness. Huge portions, friendly service and reasonable prices. Yep. I must be in Wisconsin! I stopped into Mulberry's after attending a funeral in the area at the nearby Veteran's Cemetery. I laughed as we got some very strange looks when we walked in, but our friendly server, Caren, said that was because we were in dresses and suits; not the normal wear for this place, I guess. We were seated in the corner booth and handed two huge menus which had so many different options, I wondered how such a small kitchen was going to be able to make them all. But like other "greek restaurants", the breadth of the menu is their strong suit. Given it was brunch time, some in our group ordered lunch and others ordered breakfast. I was in the latter group and ordered an omelette and not only was it huge, but it came with so many choices like hash browns, or toast and pancakes that there was no way to finish it. And my friends that ordered lunch, one ordered the broasted chicken (know that it takes about 15 minutes extra to cook but worth the wait) and the others sandwiches and those all come with soup or salad and a side so there was no shortage of food! As I said, our server, Caren, was great! Friendly and personable, she went out of her way to make us feel at home. And the best part? All that food only cost about $11 a person . . . I kept thinking there must be a problem with the bill but 5 people came to $56! Crazy cheap! Don't know when I'll be getting back to Union Grove, but if I do, Mulberry's will be high on my list to stop in and sit a spell. Wife and I are always looking for new places to go to for breakfast and often use Yelp as a guide. Today we tried Mulberry's Pancakes & Cafe in Union Grove, WI. First of all, unlike some restaurants in a downtown setting Mulberry's has a large parking lot just west of their building as well as amply on street parking. Although it was a Sunday morning we were seated within 10 minutes We were served a little slowly at first (waitress apologized for being slow due to short staff) but there after the service was quite well with water and coffee refills. My wife had a pecan waffle and was happy to see that the pecans were incorporated into the waffle as well as a topping. She also had an order of bacon (4 slices) which was done crispy as she liked. I had the homemade cornedbeef hash and eggs. While the cornedbeef was tasty the meat was over processed to the point of being mushy. The hashbrowns were crispy on the outside and still tender on the inside and the eggs(3) were fried over easy to perfection. The price was very reasonably at $22.50. While it is about a 20 minute ride from our home we plan on adding Mullberry's to our list of go to places for breakfast and will certainly go back. read more

This is a nice nieghborhood resturaunt.I hada nice breakfast. its very clean and its smoke free. I would reccomend it for people with kids.The tables are spaced nicley,sometimes tables are to close together and your being bumped into by other customers or a waitress.Or you have no space for you high chair.I really hate a waitress that leans over my child in a highchair to pour coffee...its within the kids reach to touch and be burned and if it drips, then it drips on my child! Maybe we caught them on a bad day, but there were many things that did not live up to the reviews I've read on here. First, our waitress was somewhat rude. Second, our orders weren't exactly correct. Third, not all of the food was the way they should have been: my daughters croissandwich had the eggs far beyond the sandwich and the croissant was like a rock on part of the top, and my english muffins weren't toasted. Server greeted us (not the hostess), she was not friendly or communicative. Seated and waited 5 minutes and had to ask the server to get service. She came by the table twice. Had to get up and ask to get more coffee. Those seated after us had coffee before us. Ripped seats in booths. Overall would not return.
