These bowls are just amazing. My favorite is blue coconut in Pattaya. The fruit is super fresh no rotten, soft fruit. All the toppings are amazing. The flavors are just some point. But what makes this place even more pleasant they're not greedy about tastes very amazing service. Employees are incredibly kind, polite. Honestly probably the best service. If i read it correctly you get unlimited items in your bowl? I went with the blue acai, mexi choc and another coconut yogurt. So good. So many possible combos. I thought the small bowl size was plenty. Very beautiful presentation. Wasnt a fan of the spiriluna almond butter? Resonably priced for having unlimited options. Will be back. Service was good gentlemen was nice.

It reminds me of a frozen yogurt place, you pick your base & toppings. The bowls were delicious and so refreshing! Fruit toppings were fresh, not soggy or sour tasting. The place was clean and very open, a few tables to sit inside and outside. 10/10 will definitely be back!

It's nice that the acai here isn't too sweet at all so it doesn't overpower the toppings. I really enjoyed the matcha as it was an ice consistency so the whole bowl didn't turn into soup Once again this place really is delicious, parking can be a bit touch, but the employees are definitely the kindest!! Will be back, because it's my favorite thing to eat at the beach during sunset

I've been a Blue Bowl fan through and through for years! As an OC native, their acai bowls have always been the golden standard. I'm so glad that they've been expanding into SD county! I generally default to their BYO acai bowls. You can't go wrong with their bases, but my personal favorites are the pitaya and blue coconut. Go crazy with the toppings, butters, and granolas! read more

What an establishment! The service here was a 6 out of 5. I tipped 25%, which I literally never do at non-sit-down restaurants, because the woman who helped us was THAT amazing. She was incredibly patient with me as a first-timer and let me sample a ton of both the bases and toppings so I could figure out what I liked. The only reason I'm giving this 4 stars instead of 5 is because there were a couple of bases that I personally didn't love. The toppings, however, were all excellent. She even brought out a fresh batch of strawberries for us, which I really appreciated. As a first-timer, I definitely made the rookie mistake of getting three sweet bases: blue coconut, blue pineapple, and matcha. In hindsight, I should have swapped out one (or honestly, two) for something more tart, like huckleberry, pitaya, or mango. I think that would've balanced everything out much better. I also LOVED their house-made nut butters. And the unlimited toppings?! Amazing. There are so many options, and you can really customize your bowl exactly how you want it. Overall, I had a great experience and will definitely be back!! read more

5 STARS - BEST AÇAÍ BOWL ON THE PLANET Blue Bowl Superfoods is hands down the BEST açaí bowl I have ever had in my life. And I do not say that lightly. This bowl was next level -- the prettiest one I've ever seen and somehow even better tasting than it looked. First of all -- it's ALL VEGAN. Everything. No weird additives, no junk, just high-quality superfoods layered perfectly. You can literally taste the freshness and care in every bite. The açaí was thick and smooth, the chia layer was perfect, the strawberries were insanely fresh, the granola had the best crunch, and the drizzle on top? Unreal. And the girl working there? AMAZING. So kind, so welcoming, and she made the bowl with actual love and precision. You can tell she takes pride in what she does. She made the BEST açaí bowl in the world. Period. I really love this concept! 1. Choose a size 2. Choose whatever base you want 3. Choose whatever toppings you want You can get however much (or little) of what you want as long as it fits in the bowl! There are 7 base options. All bases are made with coconut milk. You could get açaí of course, or try one (or some) of their unique flavors. I love matcha, so I've gravitated to that every time I've visited. The blue coconut is refreshing, and you really can't go wrong with the acai base either. $10.50 for a small (which fits quite a bit) $12 for a medium $14.50 for a large You can also order a layered smoothie and they have free coffee at the register. .. and if you want, you could bring a take home container for blue base. Blue Bowl Superfoods is now in Oceanside and they are bringing some healthier options to our dining scene. Blue Bowl Superfoods is basically a chain acai shop that has a specific menu that is basic and yet, still provides a variety of options for flavor customization. Their menu consists of : The Custom Bowl - You Build it How You Like The Lazy Blue - Their no-brainer recipe that incorporates many favorite ingredients including: acai, pitaya, & blue chia pudding, topped with pumpkin flax granola, strawberries, blueberries & bananas, almond butter, organic almonds, toasted Coconut, Almonds, Goji Berry, Cacao, Hemp Seed, Pumpkin Seed, Date Honee (not honey). There's an Early Bird Oats Bowl and they also sell their acai blends & butters independently for customers to take home and make their own bowls. You have a choice between 12oz, 16oz, 24oz sizes and they're all priced under $15. This Blue Bowl location is on Vista Way in South Oceanside within the Freeman Collective. This location is very convenient as it right on the main road and also connects to the 78 Hwy. The biggest downside is the lack of parking. Street parking is limited & dangerous on a busy road and I feel it's better to park on one of the side-roads that lead into the surrounding neighborhoods. Their interior is colorful, trendy, simple and small. There are a few spots that are good for couples-seating and a group of 4. Alternatively, there are a few seats outside, but the roadside traffic can be a distraction. I will have to say that I REALLY enjoyed their staff service and I was greeted as I walked in. They are also very patient with me and all my inquiries as to customization options. I like that you can select unlimited toppings in your bowl, but the trick is mastering the ratio-to-fill rate! I especially appreciate their use of chia seeds & proprietary nut butter blends. While I'm not necessarily a fan of big chains (they are located in Orange, Riverside, Long Beach & La Jolla), I can say that I feel Blue Bowl Superfoods adds value to the South Oceanside eatery scene and brings some much needed healthier options to the area. read more

We live here now! Blue Bowl got on our radar after a day at Disney California Adventure. They were part of the food & wine fest, and we bought SEVERAL açaí bowls throughout the day because they were THAT good. So ecstatic they finally opened a Blue Bowl in north county! I used to go all the time when I was in college in Orange County. Love their bases and their toppings. Best variety and taste in my opinion. They have nut butters and honeys I don't find anywhere else, like their blue butter or date honee. My favorite bases for the bowl are: pitaya, matcha, blue coconut and blue chia pudding. They have all the standard toppings but my go tos are fresh fruit, For smoothies I'd go with the pitaya smoothie sometimes I add chia pudding and matcha too. The spot is still new and there wasn't a line the first time I came on a Saturday morning but surprisingly there was a line on Sunday evening. I'd say expect to wait about 10-15 minutes until you pay. Their service is a bit slow (when compared to other locations) and there was only two workers the times I've came. They recently opened so I think they're still trying to figure things out. The employees are friendly though and offer recommendations! If you're thinking about stopping by definitely do it! Prices are super reasonable, especially in this economy. The personalization is endless so I don't think you'll be disappointed. Found my new favorite açaí bowl spot!! Stumbled upon this gem after grabbing lunch at Tanners. I appreciate that the staff was super nice, answered all our questions, and let us try as many flavors as we want. You can also choose as many flavors you want for the base. My favorite flavors were the blue coconut, blue pineapple, matcha, huckleberry, mango passion, and pitaya. I'm not a fan of granola and opted for some dried mulberries, dates, and nuts on the bottom instead for that crunch. I got a large 24oz to share with my bf and it was around $15, which was super worth it for the size. They had an extensive list of healthy toppings. Unlimited toppings was a game changer! The freeman collective strikes again. Blue Bowl has some of the best acai around. They have a great variety of based and topping and the bowl is highly customizable. The staff are very friendly and put a lot of care into assembling every bowl. I got a huckleberry base with pumpkin flax granola, strawberries, pineapples, bananas, almond butter, toasted coconut, and a drizzle of agave nectar to top it off. It was probably the best acai bowl I've ever had. We enjoyed our bowls at the store and the interior was lovely. It was nice to relax here after a day at the beach. read more

As I write this I'm craving my next visit - the açaí bowls are probably the best I've had. It could be the fresh fruits and hand crafted customizable bowls, but what puts it over the top for me is the house ground nut butters which add the extra protein boost I need/want. The signature "Blue" bowl comes packed with so much goodness it is hard to stray for me, but friends have customized their own and have been just as pleased. This is the most high end Açaí spot I have ever been to. You can pick from a variety of flavors and toppings that you didn't even know existed or were possible for a bowl. Goji berries, pumpkin seeds, and Huckleberry, OH MY! The super nice employee helping us out described Blue Bowl as kinda like Chipotle, but I think it is even more high end. You can get super healthy drinks like Wildwonder and organic coconut water. Everything is Dairy Free!!!!! It is the place to hang out and there are always people chilling. There was a line out the door for this delightful spot! Limited parking, super nice and attentive staff. I will say I did notice what was holding up the staff with this line was they don't cut the strawberries as needed, they pre cut them and then have to scramble to grab and place them nicely in the bowl. This place was great! The service was excellent, and a huge thanks to the woman who helped my husband and I. She was incredibly patient and double checked with ingredients for me because of a food allergy, I just appreciated how careful and considerate she was in preparing our bowl. The place is relatively new, and really clean. There's some nice window seating, and some cool art along the walls. I have never tried an açaí bowl and so happy that this was my first experience. Although, now I think I may be spoiled. There were so many options. I got the bases of açaí, pitaya, and cold brew. I added strawberries, blueberries, pineapple, dried cherries, "the butter", and apple honey. The options for plentiful. And it was delicious. So filling and fresh.
