This was my first time here. We arrived around 5:30 on a Saturday and were able to find a few seats at the bar. A lot of the tables were reserved for a party, so there was limited seating. The bar is not that big, but I loved that they decorated it for Valentine's Day and that the decorations were still up. I tried three different cocktails: the Mango Mule, Triple Crown, and Boozy Bear Martini. My favorite was the Boozy Bear, which was a raspberry martini with a garnish of gummy bears. The Triple Crown was my least favorite; to me, it didn't even taste like it had any alcohol. The staff were attentive and very friendly. I also loved that they had a patio with a fireplace and a TV outside. We will definitely be back. The selection of drinks is large as well. read more

Stopped in for the Valentines pop up experiece and it is just so cute!! I love all the themes they put up for the occasions. There were a few private parties happening, but that always makes it more fun and crowded. We sat at the bar to the try the blush bubbly and it was fantastic!! I also tried an espresso martini and it was very well made; you can add creme, but i opted for without. The staff is always super friendly and can turn out tasty drinks quick. Can't wait to see what they do for the next holiday. read more

We stopped in for the Christmas season to check out their drink menu. They were advertising 3 holiday drinks Plus for every one winter white martini they were donating $1 to the Humane Society! We were greeted almost immediately and our drinks came just as quick. There's plenty of waitresses to check on you throughout the night. They had a great crowd at 9 PM. There were a lot of sport games on all the TVs. They seem to draw in the male crowd. It was fun to see everyone in their ugly sweaters. They had beautiful Holiday decor & a table full of Christmas decorated cookies to snack on. This is a really nice place to go to catch up with friends or watch a game on TV. read more

My wife and I visited Blue Chip Ultra Lounge for drinks, thanks to Omaha Bar Ticket (if you aren't a member, you should check it out!). I cannot remember our bartender's name, but she was awesome! We had never been here before, so she helped guide us through the menu and make some recommendations. My wife and I ended up getting the Grow A Pear Martini, Mexican Drug Mule, F*cking Peachy, and a fourth drink that we can't remember. All of the drinks were delicious and reasonable priced ($6-$8 each). The Mexican Drug Mule had a bit of a kick thanks to the Mexcal, but I would get it again in a heartbeat the next time I return! If you are in west Omaha, this place definitely deserves a stop! read more

Perfect place to have drinks with friends, and we were even able to watch the UFC fights! The vodka soaked Gummy Bear drink was a treat. Love the atmosphere and the wait staff was prompt and always checking on us. The name is decieving here. I assumed by the name it would be a chic and modern bar that served martinis and probably overpriced. However, once I walked inside, I was very wrong. There are almost like VIP seating areas with a crocodile on the wall. We came with another couple early around 8 p.m. on a Saturday. The basketball and football games were on and everyone was relaxing. It is a Whiskey bar and inside has lounging seat and tables to hangout at. After 9p.m. it almost turns into a dance club. The atmosphere is great and it's nice that everyone isn't 21 and new to bars. The drinks tasted good and are priced nicely. I got the Gummy Bear Martini and highly recommend this. read more

I heard great things about this place and finally got to check it out. The bartender was super friendly and attentive - it wasn't a busy night but I got the feeling that didn't matter. The atmosphere was cool, there is a giant alligator on one wall and other game on other walls. There were tables as well as cosy booths to sit at. We chose a booth after sitting at the bar for a few minutes, and the bartender made sure to come over and check on us. The best part was, I got to bring my dog!! I just moved to this area of Omaha so I will definitely frequent this lounge often. read more

Visited on a Thursday night. It was fun. Relaxed. I liked three things. Music levels were perfect for a bar. I could talk and still catch when a good tune came on. The beer selection was solid. Bottles or draft. Drafts had Odell IPA on tap as well as a ZipLine local brew and Stella. I think the others were Blue Moon, a cider, and typical Bud or Coors Light. Bottles had good stuff like Founders Breakfast Stout, some local Brickway and ZipLine beers, and a good array of common craft/ciders. The patio and fire pit were awesome to enjoy in the 60-65 degree evening weather while my friend was able to smoke (I don't smoke). Bonus were the kettle chips and tortilla chips with salsa and a dill lip that were out as self serve. I don't think that's typical though. Should be! Forgot to add they have an 85" tv in the center of the bar (Eastern Finals were on) with four or five tvs to each side with a good variety on. I requested baseball and they had an MLB package. Blue Chip is at the top of my favorite bars to go to in Omaha! It took over the spot Marquee used to be, and all I can say is wow! Complete remodel and a way better vibe. It has a lounge feel with comfortable seating, dim lighting, keno, and a bunch of TVs (for my boyfriend). On the weekend there is live acoustic music or a DJ! So whether you're feeling a happy hour with friends and live music, or dancing on a Saturday night, BC is definitely a go to!! The staff is also so friendly and always quick to get me another drink.. which by the way is always one of their flavored mules If you haven't been able to check it out yet, you're missing out! read more

I'm not sure if this bar even knows what they are trying to be. This certainly is not your typical martini bar seeing as they are blaring pop/hip hop music and have a full wall of TVs showing multiple sporting events. I also don't know how you can call yourself a martini bar when you don't even have an extensive martini menu. Now I'm not sure if we just didn't have the menu at our table but you would think that would be their main focus. The 'doorman' (I use this term loosely because he wasn't even at the door most of the time) really rubbed me be wrong way. At 10 PM on a Saturday night you need to be checking ALL ID's not just picking and choosing who you card. My friend and I were told we were fine yet this man demanded to see my husband's ID. I watched as multiple people who looked much younger than my friend and I walked in while he was behind the bar. I also watched him ID women well over 40 to stroke their egos. The patio seemed nice with huge fire pits but I will choose another establishment to drink my overpriced wine at. read more

Friday night was our first experience here. Not impressed. We couldn't get waited on even though a blonde in a white dress who worked there, stood at the table next to ours socializing with the patrons for at least five minutes, then turned and walked away, completely ignoring us. She did this not once, but twice! We had to go up to the bar and still couldn't get waited on. The staff behind the bar kept walking past us. The vibe is electric and fun, I especially liked the fact they have keno. I was also thrilled they had Busch Light on tap, you NEVER see that in any Omaha bars. If I could give this place a negative TEN STARS I would! The place looks really inviting from the street but that's about all they have going for them! I was there this past Saturday, August 18th at about 10:00pm...the place had more staff than customers...the sad part, the staff was completely UNENGAGING! Sat at the bar, had to ASK to have it wiped off, while 5 staff stood around doing NOTHING! The place could be amazing, it's a great space, but between a name like blue chip, a stuffed marlin on the wall and a drink menu with marlins on one side and cartoon dinosaurs on the other, they apparently can't find their identity! They offered free popcorn at the popcorn maker, sadly there was only a single layer of popcorn on the bottom of the maker, and there were no containers to put popcorn in...with a staff of 5 just standing around, doing nothing, oh but they had time to check their cell phones! Didn't really get any attention until we were LEAVING AFTER ONE DRINK when the manager/ owner says, don't leave, I have a kid who needs braces, a joke, perhaps, but work harder if that's your business! First impression was not very good. The "bouncer" basically got in my face to check my ID and acted like I was a 12 year old trying to sneak into a bar. My wife and her friend go to grab their IDs and he said no you 2 are good. I'm the oldest one and the oldest looking one. We decided to watch him and see who else he cards. Basically he just checked the men's IDs and let the women walk right in. I have a feeling they will have issues with minors drinking here in the future. The drinks were good but they filled the glass to the top with ice so barely any drink. I finished it in like 4 drinks. The owners are trying to give it the upscale classy feel but it's like any other non dive bar with loud music and over priced drinks with snotty cocktail waitresses. In my opinion this is the type of bar for downtown not Northwest Omaha. They have a nice patio with fire pits which is probably the best part of this place. Even though I basically live across the street I won't be back. Can get cheaper drinks with a better atmosphere a ton of other places. read more

Been in twice now and both times were a great experience. Nice selection of craft beers and whiskey, they were even carrying Jack Daniels Sinatra. There is a good vibe in the room that I was not expecting from a bar in a strip mall. It was fun, inviting and the staff was great.
