I have to admit I'm a big fan of this place. Decided to bring my girls here for happy hour (30% off all appetizers). First off, this place was rock'n with a full restaurant. That said, we were greeted and seated promptly. Our server was very nice and stopped by our table a number of times to check in. I really appreciate this vs having to flag down assistance. This place is also stacked with TVs, so you can watch your favorite sports while you wait. We started with the 30hop nachos with chicken tinga. This thing was a mountain of awesomeness. Every chip was packed with flavor and honestly the best nachos I've had in Nebraska. Also tried the pretzel bites, which were absolutely delicious. I only wish there were more. lol. I recently had the opportunity to visit 30hop and came away thoroughly impressed. We arrived around 5:30 PM on a Thursday and the place was absolutely hopping -- which, after experiencing it, was no surprise at all. Parking is complimentary, although the lot was already filling up quickly. Happy hour was in full swing, which I'm sure contributed to the lively atmosphere. Since our table had about a 15-minute wait, we grabbed seats at the bar to start the evening. Service at the bar was friendly and efficient despite the crowd. I ordered the 30hop Old Fashioned while my wife enjoyed one of their mules, and both cocktails were well made and a great way to kick off the evening. For an appetizer, we tried the Bang Bang Brussels sprouts and really enjoyed them. The dish had a fun Asian-inspired twist with great texture and flavor that elevated a vegetable that can often be forgettable. My entrée was the Buffalo Chicken Wedge Salad, and wow -- this thing was loaded. Crispy buffalo chicken, avocado, bacon, egg, tomatoes, blue cheese, corn salsa, carrots, and plenty of other toppings piled onto a generous bed of greens. Too often restaurants skimp on salad toppings and leave you hunting for the good stuff, but not here. Every bite had something going on, and by the end I was completely stuffed despite ordering a salad. The restaurant itself has a modern, energetic vibe with a beautiful bar area and a large outdoor patio that looked like a fantastic place to spend an evening. We opted for the air conditioning this time, but we'll definitely be back to enjoy the outdoor seating in the future. The silence at the table spoke for itself the moment our entrees hits the table. I had the buffalo Chicken Cobb salad, which had the best of all worlds in texture. Crunch from the bacon, soft and tender chicken, with perfectly flavorful/spicy buffalo, tangy blue cheese and carrots was absolutely lovely! The sweet chili garlic wings were not to sweet or spicy, with a flaky and crispy batter, cooked perfectly was a great appetizer. The pretzel bites were mid, slightly chewy and bland at the core without the dipping sauces so I wouldn't recommend, but those didn't even matter after I had the Cobb salad and wings. They have a lot of TVs to watch about any kind of sports game. They even have the four game screens at the bar so plenty of options for everyone. I came around 7PM and didn't have nearly any trouble getting a table and had our food so fast we were absolutely shocked. Probably not even 15 minutes. We have been to 30 Hop several times before, and always had a good experience. This time we decided to try something different, something we wouldn't normally order. First, BINGO! It was Tuesday night. Their special that night is $5.99 Old Fashioneds. Keep in mind, this is mostly a beer place with a mighty good selection I might add. But this is also our favorite cocktail and it was spot on for a place like this. I ordered the chicken, Buffalo Cobb Salad, which was out of this world! Look at my pictures! It was huge. Every ingredient was so fresh. The (apparently) homemade ranch dressing was blended perfectly with the lettuce. The chicken was grilled and arrived with a nice slather of buffalo wing sauce. Not too hot, not too mild. Honestly, I might order this every time from now on. My dining partner ordered spicy peanut noodles and he was very into it, and not into me until it was gone. I don't blame him. I had a bite and loved it. Like my dish, it was not too spicy, not too mild. It was just right. He said he would order it again as well. Back again - this time with a big group! We had about 20 people and the service was incredibly accommodating for us. We had drinks and apps brought about as quickly as I get my meals with a much smaller group. Our appetizers were very tasty - some of my favorites of the hunch were the truffle fries (I'm OBSESSED with their honey mustard its magic), the dynamite shrimp, and the brussel sprouts. I can't remember the name of my drink but it was St. Germain and gin so it was delicious! I got the salmon zen bowl this time - personally, I like a raw salmon in this type of bowl but the cooked salmon was pretty good too. One of my favorite lunch spots to go with co workers. They have a large restaurant with plenty of seating and it is very modern. The menu has a lot of different options and all are quite delicious! 30Hop is a really solid, "something for everyone" spot. It's centrally located, offers a lot of area parking, and is spacious enough that you can get a big party in, or simply have a date night. We were kid free last week so we decide, why not 30hop, there is a ton of options. We heard the wait would be about 45 minutes and only after about 10 minus, 2 spots opened at the bar and we had great service there. My husband for the dragon bowl WITH an extra salmon lol bc he is extra. I got the turkey sandwich, and waffle fries. It's really become my go-to meal, but it is so hard to choose what to get, because everything I've had is good. Alright, 30hop, I see you for brunch! My husband, a friend, and I met here recently for a weekend brunch. We didn't have reservations, but there were plenty of tables available despite being reasonably busy (it's just such a big space!). We were able to snag a booth immediately. I got the Mule-Mosa cocktail to start with and it was only the disappointing part of the meal. It tasted pretty much like a standard mimosa. Looking back, I should have gotten the Brunch Punch instead. But the food was delicious! We got an order of the donut holes for the table and they were SO good! The outside was very crispy and the inside was surprisingly soft! I preferred the caramel sauce over the creme anglaise, but dipping in both was the perfect bite. Lots of craft beer to choose from so that made me happy too. The spinach artichoke dip was probably some of the best I've had. My husband got the Sparkling Berry Lemon soda, and it was sweet, tart, and super tasty. For our appetizers, we picked: -Dynamite Shrimp: Super creamily dressed little shrimp on a bed of rice. The sauce was a yum yum sauce, and having a bit of shrimp with a little rice was so good. This could be an entree itself, if you were wanting something light! -Bang Bang Brussels: I am a huge Brussels Sprout fan, and these were awesome. Usually Brussels are either savory or sweet, but this was a little of both. Spicy, sweet, and served warm. And it was a HUGE serving so you can definitely share this between a few people. And for our dessert, we shared the Blueberry Cheesecake, which was heavenly. It had layers of blueberry all throughout the cheesecake, with actual blueberries all around it and topped with a lemon sauce too (my other favorite fruit!). I met a friend recently for dinner at 30hop. I couldn't believe how busy it was, but luckily we had a reservation! We were seated in a fairly reasonable time from our reservation, which was nice. Our server greeted us right away and took our drink orders. I ended up going with the Blackberry Mint Limonada. It was decent, but a little sweet. For my main course, I decided to go for the Truffle Cheesesteak Melt which consisted of shaved ribeye, truffled cheese spread, provolone, roasted mushrooms, and onion jam on sourdough. It was decent and had good flavor but was pretty single toned. I wish that more of the flavors and textures stood out but the cheese flavor was a little overbearing. With that being said, I would order it again. The fries were realllly good. Our service was soso. We came a little later so the restaurant was clearing out as we were finishing us and chatting. The service has always been top notch, even when ever seat is filled and people are waiting for tables they're always friendly and you never feel rushed to leave. Downside though is since it's often quite full, it can also get a bit loud, so be ready to talk a little louder than planned. I would recommend getting the brussels and fries (if you don't get them with your main meal). And again, you can't really go wrong with any of the burgers. We had time to kill decided to stop here to have a few drinks and watch football last night. There was a mixup with who was serving our table, but the girl waiting on us ended up being very friendly. We started with the creamy spinach, artichoke dip that is some of the best I've ever had. I loved the baguettes that they provided for dipping because they were very crunchy. I went with my usual house margarita that was tasty. My Philly cheesesteak was phenomenal! There is lots of seating around the bar and inside plus a huge covered outdoor seating area and then out-outside seating. Not sure if the patio is dog friendly, you will have to call and ask. Our server Jeff was friendly and took our drink and appetizer order right away. The appetizer came out in mere minutes and took a bit longer for the drinks. We had the truffle fries which were pretty solid but the truffle flavor was a bit too "fake" for me. Has a slightly processed aftertaste. Don't get me wrong, they were good, I'm just really picky/sensitive to the truffle flavor. I ordered the Tiki Mule and it was good but kind of light in the booze department. For the entree I had the Korean Steak sandwich with sweet potato fries. The sandwich was huge and it was a bit spicy. Everything that was on it worked well together and I'm looking g forward to having it for lunch tomorrow. The sweet potato fries were also pretty solid and I would order them again. Returned to 30 hop several months later hoping to have a slightly better experience and unfortunately, I felt like the three star rating was justified again. My husband's food came with a curly black hair on one of the shrimp, and like last time when we had a food issue that needed to be remade, they apologized and took it away right away, but it took quite a while to be remade. I've worked in restaurants, and when we had to refire a dish, it would be expedited on the fly. But unfortunately, everyone else had finished their food well ahead of my husband receiving his replacement. The staff were nice about it and apologetic, but again it just took way too long. Then when we got the bill, I saw that they hadn't taken it off or given us a discount, so I had to talk with the manager to make it right. Ultimately, they did comp the dish, but again it just really affected our experience. Also, I wanted to try one of their Asian bowls, but I really have issues with onions. This precluded me from ordering any of their Asian dishes with their vegetable mix in it, because either way they buy it or the way they prepare. it has small onions in it, which would really be a pain to pick out . The beer menu is not very up to date, and the "8 oz" drinks are surely not 8 oz (you cannot tell me I could pour a full beer can into this glass, as cute as they are). I had the burger with bacon and bleu cheese, and the waitress was nice enough to note my request for lighter amounts of bleu cheese - it goes exceptionally well with bacon but has a strong enough flavor to not need an excessive amount. It seemed like there was none at all on there, so perhaps that was my mistake for asking. I feel like it is normally piled on there but I did still want *some.* The Nashville sandwich was nothing special, but the coleslaw was good. 6/10. The new honey chicken sandwich was good, 8.5/10. The truffle cheesesteak had noticeable truffle, even a little much, which you don't always get, and maybe not enough cheese, but was overall good. 7/10. The fries and sweet potato fries were both very good, well seasoned fries. I would come back - I would bring my parents here. I hope to sit outside at some point to see how nice that can be. It's just a big open place but it's so cute inside! I've also never felt it's super noisy for how big it is. Love that they have TVs everywhere as well. It's like a sports bar but elevated. The restaurant was mostly empty, but we were told the only available seating was out on the patio unless we wanted to wait a long time. I'm unsure if they take reservations, but if they do, that would likely explain the empty tables. If this is the case, it would be nice if they reserved only part of the space so walk-ins could still be accommodated more easily. The food itself was great. I had a cheeseburger and a beer. Unfortunately, sitting outside in the heat wasn't ideal. The fans helped a bit but not enough to make it comfortable. I was sweating. Truly, I've only had top tier experiences with 30 Hop's food. While the menu is American, you can still find a great range of options to please a diverse crowd. The portions are generous, and I have yet to have a dish miss. Having tried the BEST peanut butter noodles I've ever had as a part of an event, I took my family back here for a girls dinner! For drinks, the blackberry margarita was fantastic: strong, refreshing, and a good size. My personal choice was the citrus beer, and it was light and sweet. I ordered the Veggie Mac and Cheese, which was filled with tiny pieces of veggies, and had an indulgent sauce. Creamy, layered, and hella cheesy without being stringy. My cousin had the buffalo version, and enjoyed it immensely. We both had some to take home with us as the portion was large and the dish itself super filling. The rest of the table ordered an assortment of items: fresh berry salad, a pile chicken tenders thrown in buffalo sauce, and high stacks of French fries. The plain fries were top tier - well seasoned and with a textured crunchy outside. The chicken tender breading was a bit too thick, making it fall off if you cut the tender or took a bite, but the flavor was perfect - spicy without being making you cry. Considering it was a weeknight, I was surprised to get some slower service, particularly when it came to getting refills of alcoholic beverages, but since the restaurant is new, expect a bit of a lag! read more

We enjoyed our visit to 30Hop. The sign up front was a bit confusing, as it said "have a seat like you're at the beach." We took that to mean self-seating, but we were asked to return to the front and the hostess would seat us. The That's My Jam Burger was delicious, and piping hot out of the oven, fries too. The potato soup and kids grilled cheese were just warm. It would be great to have a bowl-of-soup & salad choice, or as I was wanting on a chilly evening, bowl-of-soup and bread. As there wasn't any such choice, they accommodated my request with a *cup* of soup with the kids grilled cheese, which was a little dry. Our server was friendly but not all that attentive; drink refills and just checking back didn't happen till it was time to bring the check. The restaurant was busy and there was stormy weather, so I do understand, but just 1-2 table touches while we dined would have gone a long way.
