I had researched floor plans and brands for over a year before my husband joined the search. He researched things a lot deeper. One of the things he read was that it's just as important to find a dealer you love as it is to find the right rig. We narrowed it down to Grand Design Solitude or KZ Durango Gold. Which brought us to Folsom Lake RV. They are the only dealer of KZ in Northern California.... but we would have traveled for the right rig/dealership... thankfully we didn't have to.... the folks at Folsom Lake RV are AWESOME! From the sales department, to financing to parts & service EVERYONE gave us exceptional service. They were patient with our timeline and accommodating with our extremely extensive PSI checklist. Friendly, informative and super helpful. We had a few issues come up on our pick up day, and these guys were quick to make it right and exceeded our expectations of how things should be dealt with. Melinda, Zach, Steve, Rob & Rob, Nick & Nick and Haylee.... all went above and beyond. We love our rig and we are so grateful we got it from such a fantastic dealership.

I have had my TT for a little over two years now and I have had to take my TT in a handful of times for warranty work. Booking a service appointment is about the only easy part of the process. Each visit, my TT has sat for at least two months before finally being worked on. In total, I have lost about 8 months of use between all my warranty repair visits. There always seems to be a break down in communication between service and the manufacture in getting warranty work approval. I have had to reach out to the manufacture on occasion only to be told it was service who dropped the ball when submitting paperwork. Every time I bring my TT here, there is a new service person behind the counter. Every time I get my TT back, I notice a new scratch or scuff mark. If their service department matched their sales department, this place would be unmatched. Management really needs to shake things up in this department.

We contacted RV-Time and the dynamic duo owners, Matthew and Ashley. The insurance company approved us getting an estimate, and Matthew immediately contacted the insurance agent and got right to work, which resulted in an approved estimate in half a day. Both Matthew and Ashley explained in detail the job, which involved a new refrigerator, all the connecting propane hoses, electrical wiring, fuses, and substantial cleaning inside and outside the RV. They asked if we had a trip planned, and since we had a big one in a few weeks, they said they would do everything they could to get it done a few days before we left. And they did. All the parts were then ordered. Matthew or Ashley would call regularly with updates, suggestions, or decisions. Both of them know so much about RVs - it is simply amazing. We both felt completely confident that we, and our rig, were in good - no - great hands. We have complete trust in their workmanship and their desire to serve us and our RV needs in the best and most expedient way possible. Do we recommend them? Let me put it this way: We will not go anywhere else for all things RV.

My last several experiences with RV Travel World have been extremely disappointing…read more I've been bringing my trailer in for service under their Forever Warranty ever since I purchased it years ago. However, as the trailer has gotten older, it seems like they are constantly looking for reasons not to cover repairs, even when the warranty documentation appears to indicate the issue should be covered. The entire program has become frustrating and feels misleading. I've also had issues with pricing. On one occasion, I called ahead and was quoted a price for work. When I arrived at the store, the price was significantly higher. I had to argue with staff and remind them of the amount I was quoted over the phone before they would honor it. Communication has been another major problem. Multiple times I was told my trailer was ready for pickup, only to drive all the way there and discover it wasn't actually ready. That's a huge inconvenience and shows a lack of respect for customers' time. After dealing with these issues repeatedly, I can no longer recommend RV Travel World. The Forever Warranty program has not lived up to its promises in my experience, and the poor communication and inconsistent service have made doing business there far more difficult than it should be.

My RV used to not follow the tow vehicle well now to tows like it is on rails. Such a tremendous relief! I tow in challenging Sierra Nevada terrain and highway 1 where I need to know the trailer is going to perform as expected. My wife and I originally came to RV Maxx intending to buy an RV, but we later decided to just sell…read moreours instead. The owner spent a lot of time explaining the business to us and repeatedly emphasized how he was "a man of his word." He agreed to purchase our RV for a fair price, and we signed paperwork moving forward with the deal. Because we were told the purchase was happening, we paid off the negative equity on the RV based on his word and assurances. He was very convincing and made us believe everything was set. Then, the day before we were supposed to bring the RV in to finalize the sale, we texted RV Maxx just to confirm everything. The daughter responded saying her father was "no longer interested" in buying our RV anymore had already bought 2 trailers and simply said "good luck." What makes this worse is that if we had not reached out ourselves, it appears they had no intention of even informing us ahead of time. After all the promises and talk about integrity, the deal was dropped at the last minute after we had already taken financial steps based on their commitment. As a military veteran, honesty and keeping your word mean something to me. Unfortunately, this experience left me feeling misled and disappointed. I would not recommend this RV dealer to fellow veterans or anyone expecting straightforward business practices.
