Sweet tea and water pitchers placed on tables for refilling as needed (and kept full!). Bowls of slaw on tables. Perfectly sweet and delicious. Hush puppies also put on table with a Rotel type cheese sauce. A tad spicy but excellent. Ordered fried green tomatoes appetizer. Very tasty. Tasted home grown (they are not - we asked). Sides of ranch and chicken sauce. Had fried oysters and fried shrimp. Superb coating. Fried to perfection. Nephew had the catfish. Huge fillets. All in all a magnificent experience. read more

On the way back to Florida we stopped to get some fried catfish.Because for some reason nobody in Cola can make it. I will have to say the food was great! I really enjoyed the fish and coleslaw! The service was good and ambiance was nothing special. Will definitely go back! read more

Pulling upon the parking lot, I could tell it was busy but was unsure as to why we hadn't been back to Jordan's. A family of 5 with 4 adults and one 15 year old, one bowl of coleslaw was set between us with a basket of hushpuppies with roughly 7 in the basket. After that initial delivery, we didn't see the waitress for more sides that were suppose to be unlimited, until our food came. I actually witnessed more cleaning up afterwards than actual service to our table as we ate. For the price of the food and the quality to not match is disappointing. It would also be nice if the fingers of the waitress were not in the coleslaw as well. read more

We have wanted to eat at Jordan's for some time and finally made it today. We arrived at an off time so there was no waiting as in peak hours. Concern was food previously cooked for rush crowd. Wifey went with three filets while I took the challenge of AYCE filets. Hushpuppies and slaw came out with the drinks. Enjoyed the cheese sauce for dipping the puppies. Order came out fast and hot!!! We were there at around 4 in the afternoon and it wasn't crowded. So probably a good time to go. The restaurant is large and has ample seating. They use folding tables and it has a cafeteria/campy feel that is fun and suits the name perfectly. The service was prompt and friendly and the restaurant was well staffed. The food was excellent. We had a seafood platter and an oyster dinner. The cole slaw is really good too. This was one of best restaurant experiences we've had in a long time. Even if we did have to travel a little way to get there. We will definitely visit again. read more

Great place for fried catfish. They got it on the bone or filets. It was very tasty and the service was very good. Get tea to drink because they bring you a pitcher and put it at your table. The hush puppies come with cheese dip on the side and it was different but great. If you're on this lonely road at night give a try. read more

It is always a treat to eat here as we travel to the beach. The complimentary cole slaw is light and delicious, and I was skeptical about the idea of dipping hush puppies in cheese sauce. I'm a reluctant believer in nacho cheese sauce combined with tasty hush puppies now. The fried shrimp was really good, plump and a nice size. The fried catfish fillets were good, and the hamburger was pretty good too. The fried dill pickles weren't dipped in a cornmeal batter, so they weren't a big hit. I've always been told from a young age that Jordan's was a great place. Not yesterday. The fish was very greasy! The cold slaw was sweet and milky. Yuck. It was a busy Sunday after church and the organization of the hostess/owner staff was pitiful! It was probably 25 people standing inside the door. Sometimes you couldn't get through the door because of crowding. Walls need to be built to separate the entrance from people eating. I was literally standing next to a couple that was eating because it was so crowded at the front door. How uncomfortable on both parties. The restaurant is out dated. They need to paint the walls, add some curtains and update the bathrooms. Also in this day I think you should have more of a menu variety. The fries were pitiful. read more

No wonder this place has a 30 year history of loyal followers! I live nearby, and there aren't many restaurants, so it's our go-to spot on weekends. I wish they were open every day! I have met people from all around, an hour or more away, and when I tell them where I live they say, "I know where that is! We drive up on special Sundays to eat at Jordan's!" The quality and service are consistently good. Their coleslaw is a little sweet for my taste, but most people LOVE IT, along with every thing else.
