    Shrimpsation Steamer A+++++++. So good!!

    Fantastic seafood spot! Kit was an amazing server! We're only in Laurel for two days, but I pray we're gonna make it back one more time!

    the food was excellent! the server polite and kind. The greeter/ hostess was on the laid back side of life... and with it being a warehouse building, she did not "warm the place up" when you entered. It was rather brisk and she walked us 2 to a table, put down the menus and walked away. I expected a more open welcome to the restaurant. The food was good. I had the redfish, and my husband the seafood platter. price point was reasonable at $23 each. I would eat here again. The ambiance is lacking.

    I love that local businesses are using the old buildings that have so much character. We had just came from the movies across the parking lot around 6pm on a Saturday. It was super busy with a line waiting. We were seating at a table a lot earlier than excepted. Our server was patient in explaining the menu and did not make us feel rushed. The pepper jack cheese logs are always on our order. I believe there are five to an order with two dipping sauces. We both had the Blackened Redfish Tacos. I went light on the blackened seasoning. They can out perfect! The service and food was great! They have a lot of seafood dishes so I know you will find something everyone will love. Enjoy

    We were in town on a Monday. There were very few options of places to eat, other than Mexican. Our server was great! Service was quick. Food was ok. Not a lot of flavor, sadly. Fish and shrimp were slightly over cooked. The bread.... The best! So good. Nice crusty exterior with a nice soft bite. Great flavor!

    This place was very nice. We walked in and were seated immediately. We had the option of a table or booth. We chose the booth. It was very comfortable. The food came out in a timely manner and the service was impeccable. It is a bit dark when trying to read the menu. But the lighting is great for a date. We both enjoyed the fried green tomatoes and remoulade as an appetizer. I had redfish, broccoli, and a salad and it was cooked to perfection. There was a remoulade sauce on it as well. The broccoli was not soggy nor undercooked. It was seasoned very well. The dish my date got was cooked very well. We had no complaints. The prices were reasonable. I would recommend trying this place. Customer service 5 Location 5 Prices 5 Cleanliness 5 Quality 5 5 x 5 / 5 = 5stars.

    This restaurant was had to find. Food was good but service was not. Got the Crab dip appetizer but no knife to cut it with . When we asked for a knife they said they would have to go find one ??? Got my soup WITH the meal. No spoon to eat the soup . When I asked for a spoon, she said she would have to go find one ????? Ordered salad with my salmon but was served a loaded baked potatoe instead. She brought the salad, but it looked like it was put in the bowl yesterday and had a bunch of other bowls stacked on top of it. ( the salad was flattened down)

    Blue Crab Grill is one of the better places to eat in Laurel, MS and they offer a nice size serving of food at a good price. The seafood here was overcooked during my visit and all four of us eating found our fish and shrimp overcooked but there were still some good flavors in the food so simply tweaking the cook time and temp a bit could dramatically improve the experience here. I would definitely eat here again but I might not choose the seafood options until I hear they have mastered their seafood cooking skills better. Overall this is an easy spot to park at and the prices seem to be a better value than many of the other restaurants in Laurel, MS. Seafood was over fried and had a burnt taste to it. Hushpuppys were over fried. The price is high for the lack of quality.Rating "0".

This is mainly a seafood restaurant that also serves steaks, country fried steak and fried chicken. They have boiled shrimp and fried seafood with all-you-can-eat catfish which seems to be the star of the show here. They have fried options including oysters, shrimp, stuffed crab and chicken. They also have a baked redfish with crawfish sauce and boiled potatoes that I ate, which for the price, it was unfortunately really small and for around the same price in many other spots I've had a much larger serving along with a lot more crawfish in the sauce. For the area it seems very popular and there are lots of other catfish places around but this one seems to have a bit more variety. You also get coleslaw and hushpuppies with your meal (which is the same practice for many of the other spots around this area). Like the majority of places in this region their coleslaw is sadly NOT to my taste as it is far too sweet and is the mayo style while I'm on team vinegar and mustard based coleslaw with no mayo and zero added sugar. I literally would rather have plain sauerkraut or kimchi than this kind of coleslaw. Most people around these parts will by quite happy with the food here but a lot of it just isn't to my taste. The redfish had potential but I can get a way bigger portion size with a lot more food on the plate in New Orleans and all along the Gulf Coast for around the same price or cheaper than here. I sampled a boiled shrimp and like most of the boiled seafood in this area I found it way too bland to my taste and I would rather just boil my own. The service here was really great and they stayed on top of keeping drinks refilled. Overall most people from the area will probably like this joint but if you're used to seafood with a Creole or Cajun flair like I am then you will likely find it pretty bland here.

To see across the dining room one has to shield one's eyes with one's hands.... Paint the walls gray, and put some shades on those bright lights! Best to ask for the other dining room which has a much better environment for your eyes and senses. Flatware is the CHEAPEST sold to restaurants, terrible, just like the cheap flatware used by The Loft. Server was friendly for sure but not professional. None of the servers could tell you anything about any of the wines... except for the difference in color! Owners, teach your staff about the wine list! Your servers should know what a Malbec is and that it's from the Mendoza region in the Andes of Argentina, for example. We each had a dish that included a flatiron steak. Sadly our steaks were incredibly tough and chewy. I was able to eat ZERO of it... first bite... chew chew chew until it arrived at its destination, in a paper napkin. Same outcome for bites two and three.... Both ended up in my napkin! The server failed to notice that everything on my plate was gone but the steak appeared untouched! She should have noticed that the other foods were disappearing but the steaks sat appearing untouched on our plates. Green beans, shrimp, pasta dishes all a 10 out of 10! We will go back as overall this is a decent place to eat! However, still waiting on the down town Laurel restaurants to class it up! After all, we are a tourist town (HGTV-Home Town fans) and our guests are here daily from all over the country and world. Train the staff, learn the wines, ditch the cheap flatware, think about adding cloth napkins... and paint the dining room and dim those flood lights!
