I've been going to this place for years. I liked it when they were by Costco but, they moved. I was still going to them after the move. I stopped here today and they still only have 1 purified water dispenser in operation. I waited a little while. One person was filling up 4 - 5 gallon bottles. Then another car was next and they were filling 4- 5 gallon bottles. It was going to take forever. I ended up leaving and driving to spring water depot. It was only a 7 minute drive from there. Guess what. There was no line. I filled up my bottle and I was out. Yah I pay an extra dollar more but I'm not waiting in the heat and my time is valuable. I liked Blue Dot but I'll save myself some time and start going to Spring Water Depot instead. Blue Dot is hit and miss. They need to put more purified water stations out instead of all Alkaline. read more

If you are looking for a place to buy water without paying the high prices in a grocery store, this place is for you! Filtered water is only 50 cents per gallon, with alkaline water just a little bit more. We use the filtered water for our fish tank, coffee maker, and humidifier and have been very pleased with the quality. Since moving over to this water, we get no residue in our humidifier and the taste of our coffee is noticeably better! The fish are also happy, with the live plants blooming beautifully. Located on the outside wall of a strip mall, it's convenient with the ability to visit at any hour. Just remember to bring your own water bottles! Ask an expert. Enter Chris and Blue Dot Water. These folks know what's up! I actually came in looking for reverse osmosis or RO water because it's been purified and is ideal for setting up aquariums. They sell it for .30 a gallon both in the store and self service outside, which is available 24 hours a day! They also have a rad loyalty program where you buy 10 gallons and get one free! Chris actually took the time to show me their very techy looking system, explain how this water is produced and exactly what the RO process removes. I wish I remembered it all but organic chem was never my strong suit! Customer service is clearly top priority here! Chris even hooked me up with a few used transport containers that customers had left behind, which means I get to get my tank running tonight! In addition to purified or reverse osmosis water, they also sell Alkaline water which is said to have significant health benefits, as well as water filtration systems for the home or office! I used to think bottled water was just that and didn't give it much thought. I met the owners and Chris and his wife showed me how the water is processed and taught me the difference of the purified water and alkaline water. When you go in to fill your bottles there is even a bottle sanitizer for you to use before filling up. Blue Dot has a wide selection of water bottles from the big 5 gallon down to personal sized. You can pick the BPA free or glass bottles. Both Chris and his wife are very helpful and will help you out to your car with all your water. If you cant make it in to the store there is an outside bottle filler that you can use too. One of the best local businesses Reno has to offer is Blue Dot Water. They are located in the Airport Square shopping center or where Costco and Mor Furniture is located off of Plumb Lane. Highest quality of service, highest quality of water (either alkaline or regular), and the owners are just great people all the way around. Chris and his amazing wife go the extra length to bring value of drinking high quality water at home or at your office. They do provide delivery and pick up for water orders if you can't get down to the store. They currently provide water for two (2) coffee roasting companies, Wood-Fire Roasted and Blind Dog Coffee Roasters. Best place to get inexpensive purified and alkaline water in Reno! 30 cents for purified 1.50 for Alkaline. Im used to paying 3.00 for a single use Bottle! This is a great place. Just went in for the first time and met the couple that owns the shop, Chris and Christina. Very chill and health forward people. They showed us their opperation and explained the whole filtration process. I was happy to be enlightened to the truth that even non BPA free plastic bottles leach equally dangerous chemicals into our water. Its so hard to live purely but this type of establishment put us all a step closer toward that goal. We got the glass 5 gallon decanter to refill and since we bought it there they fill it up free( with akaline or Purified). I do love me a Bonus...and supporting local independent business. The Alkaline Water is literally THE BEST WATER I'VE EVER CONSUMED !!! The taste is phenomenal. The owner is super nice and helpful. I used to self fill my bottles, but for a couple extra bucks I started getting them delivered to my house once a month. Great decision. Love coming home to the freshest water around. I'm a 2x cancer survivor and alkaline water is supposed to be really good for survivors hence the reason I sought out Blue Dot. I couldn't be more pleased. Blue Dot water is the bomb. Fast friendly and reasonable. Fill ups from your water bottle to your 275 tote. You want distilled they have it. Want the added benefits of alkaline water they have that too, even in ice form (crushed). Just want the hose water for that camp shower done. By far the best place in town to fill up on water! It's never busy, very helpful and friendly staff, and it's very affordable! I used to go to the water place on center street in mid town, but after they jacked up their prices by over 200%, I had to go somewhere else. I enjoy going into blue dot water. Everytime that I make my way in there, the staff greets me and ask if they can help out with the 5 gallon bottles I have. They have a loyalty program too that will get you free gallons of water. I normally shop for the alkaline water and I believe they are reasonably priced. They have a rinser for your bottles so you can clean them out. They even have extra caps in case the one on your bottle breaks or is just loose. I was impressed that they even have alkaline ice.
