Their drivers have been excellent, nice and customer-focused. But the behind-the-scenes customer service is close to non-existent. (Or non-existent would be better than what I've experienced!). Their system is awkward and not always up and working. They require auto-payment which I've been instructed not to do for a while due to recent fraud/identity theft issues. Zero stars. My first order they delivered twice as many bottles as ordered. They left them at the bottom of my 300 foot driveway, at the street. Customer service said the driver was afraid my driveway was too narrow, and suggested I have a neighbor or family member bring them up!! I ordered home delivery- not 300 feet from home delivery. So, I canceled service. This was early October. I lost count of how many emails and calls I made to get someone to pick up the empties and refund my bottle deposit. Finally got it, only 3 months later. Buy your own bottles and fill them at Walmart or Smiths. read more

I have never left a poor review but I can't keep quiet here. We have been with Alhambra for almost 2 years and they are the perfect representation of what Socialism is like in other countries. They can run their business poorly because there aren't other options to choose from. They almost never deliver when they say they will (for weeks at a time), and based on the fact that there isn't much other competition in Reno, it seems they don't care about how poorly there business is run, because their customers have no where else to go for water delivery here. Driver was told 4 days ago by the shop next to mine not to deliver water to my address unless he can come by when I am open. He still left 3 bottles of water in a trash pile in front of my door that had blown in from a weekend storm. I have been calling several time daily for 4 to get this corrected and have been given every excuse and promise to fix this but today was finally told they could not come back until next months delivery. So fed up with the lack of customer service from this company. They did this last summer when I was on vacation and the bottles sat in the 100 degree sun for 2 weeks. Worst service ever! Don't sign up because you can't cancel! We haven't received a delivery since September 22nd. They won't answer the phone and the robot voice keeps calling every two weeks to say our delivery is coming but no one shows up. There is no way to cancel. They won't answer to the phone, the online account does not have an option to cancel and the contact us form specifically says it cannot be used to cancel service. I couldn't even reduce my delivery to 0 bottles. I can't remove my credit card from the account either. This company must be going out of business. This is the only explanation I can think of for such lousy service. We have over 20 empty bottles that they won't take back so we are not getting our deposits refunded either. read more

I have called him twice, and left him a message and I have yet to have a call back from him. I called last month and you said you would refund it. Today I got a bill that said not only had you not paid me the credit, you took it off, and billed me for service I have not had in months. Don't do it! We are switching to a local company. No water for 4 weeks. We could not even get water for our first order. The guy dropped water off across the street drove through our business park past us and left our our driveway. My husband tried to stop him but he kept going. We called customer service numerous times only to be told many different stories. We went through Costco for this service. Between not getting water delivered when it was scheduled to them not keeping an accurate count of bottles on hand, and claiming to pick-up bottle sizes we have never ordered or received, therefore losing bottle deposits. Customer service is through some distant location that you have to wait on hold for extremely long periods of time just to talk to someone. Just save yourself the headache! read more

We signed up for delivery service a year ago for bi-weekly delivery. However we receive, MAYBE, once a month IF we are lucky?! I have tried to deal with the 800 number and after waiting on hold, for an hour and a half, I was told sorry but I would have to deal with the local company if I wanted anything resolved!? She also asked if we had a Costco? I told her "yes why?" And she said "they have water delivery", Seriously!? When I did go down to the Reno office I basically got shrugged shoulders and no answer as to why I am not getting deliveries. They loaded up some packs of water and some 5 gallon distilled into my trunk and sent me on my way with NO explanation and no promise of fixing the issue! Well it continues to be hit or miss (mostly miss). We are on a well & have a water system that NEEDS distilled water to work with the descalent. We get the auto call every other Monday (our delivery day is Tuesdays) stating the delivery is coming and to put out our used containers but they don't come! Then when I get home from work they are blown all over the yard! There was one month that they missed BOTH deliveries! My husband went down to their office AGAIN last week & was told it was because of snow? We haven't had any snow?! I would really like water delivered regularly but not sure how to make this happen? Everybody's complaining about the service I had okay service but what people don't realize the water that they're drinking is not purified I went to Costco on plumb Reno Nevada ordered their water service and they're hot and cold water dispenser after almost two months I'm service the hot and water cold dispenser has a little tray so when you spill water it goes into the tray I looked at it two days ago 10 3 2021 and discovered something in the bottom of the tray I took a paper towel wiped it I could not believe what I found the water supposed to be purified it look like somebody wipe their butt on a paper towel the stuff that is in there that you're drinking is unsafe and no one seems to care at customer service do not buy water from them I canceled my service I suggest you don't even bother getting water their bottling tap water claim that it's filtered when it's not I wouldn't even give him one star the service like I say was okay but the water is horrible nobody ever thought to check out the water like I say this water machine was brand new I checked everything out when I installed it read more

Alhambra has hands down the worst customer service I've experienced. I signed up for water delivery with them over a year ago and I've had multiple issues. I signed up for 3 bottles per month, and they started delivering me 3 bottles every two weeks (hiking the price up from $30 to $60 per month). When I called to inform them, they told me that they can't take back bottles that have been delivered (even though it was their mistake) but I could delay the subsequent deliveries and use the water I had in my home. I scheduled for service a month from then, but no one showed up. The empties were collecting and I ran out of water, and no one came back for 2 months. After calling and threatening to cancel service, I finally got the schedule correct. Then the billing issues. I was being auto debited to my card, yet I got an paper invoice threatening to stop my service and send me to collections. ON AN ACCOUNT THAT WAS CURRENT AND BEING CHARGED TO MY CARD EVERY MONTH. Called and spent nearly an hour on hold to be told my the representative (who had attitude) that she didn't know why, to just ignore it since I was paid in full. Um, thanks. Now today. Moved to a new residence and changed my delivery and billing info with them over 2 weeks ago. Was scheduled to have water delivered today, and yet it's not here. I've called to inquire, and was told that they had "longer than normal wait times" but it would be about 10 minutes. 1 HOUR LATER, here I am on hold. Have an email from them confirming that I have delivery today, yet the website now says it's been pushed back until July 29th. Why? I'd love to know but no one answers their phones. Evidently they avoid customer service issues by simply not answering the phone. They charge $5.99 for a 24 pack of water, and then don't even show up to deliver. I am incredibly disgusted with Alhambra delivery service. I work for a company in South Lake Tahoe and in the 5 months I have worked here, Alhambra has no consistent schedule. I have had to call monthly because we run out and then they are still another 1-2 weeks out from when I call. For example, we ran out last Monday, I called and was told we were scheduled for delivery on Wednesday, 11/25. They never showed up. I called this morning and the customer service rep said they cannot deliver until Dec. 5th or 6th. That is the weekend! This is a business! The one star can go to the customer service rep who was kind, but the company is pathetic. I understand being short handed, but management needs to step up and take care of their customers! Another horrible service complaint. I have had their water delivery service for about 4 years. We moved our office 2 years ago and continued getting water at the new address. They changed their policy to only charge when they leave bottles. Long story short, every time they delivered they left 2 water bottles. Eventually we ends up with 10 extra full 5 gallon bottles. I asked that they stop for about 6 months since we had so much. I still have 4 full bottles and I receive a call from a collections company. What!!!!!??? They sent me to collections without even telling me, I still get emails from them for new products so they have my email correct. I now had to pay $475 just to clear it up. Crazy. I have dealt with the corporation and the 800 number for YEARS and it was always a nightmare. I got in contact with Brittney at the office in Reno and she is AMAZING, she has gone above and beyond to make sure my water has been delivered. Brittney has offered excellent customer service and SHE is the reason I still continue service with Alhambra. This morning I met the delivery driver, Wayne; which was also a very positive experience. I value the fact that both of these individuals offer a positive, quality interaction, follow through with my random water requests and they both seem to also have gratitude for our interactions as well. I am NOT big on the holidays BUT they scored points as the first Christmas card we have received this year was from Wayne. I hope that the corporation itself values Brittney and Wayne as much as my family and I do! Thank you both for providing us EXCELLENT service, something that is very hard to find in this day and age! read more

Zero stars for Alhambra water!! This company is awful, absolutely awful! We have used their service for water delivery for 3 years, but after today I am cancelling my service! (That is, if I can actually speak to a human and not be hung up on!) This company does not care about its customers! First, they have a horrible billing department, so you have to go over your charges very carefully and call them every month to correct their mistakes. Second, they change the price of their water whenever they want, so you need to keep a close eye on your bill because otherwise you will be paying more. We have had several times when our water delivery just never arrived, leaving us without water or having us buy water at the store, and that defeats the whole reason why we pay this company! The reason I can no longer use this company is simple, I have my water delivery set for every two weeks, this week Alhambra has decided they're not going to deliver my water for three weeks, leaving me without water once again! To add insult to injury, I've called several times today to attempt to rectify the situation and they've hung up on me every time after waiting on hold for more than 15 minutes each time! (Apparently I am not the only unhappy customer today!!) It is not worth the headache, the hold times, for the non existent service they "provide." read more

Then in one order I got 6 3gallon water bottles, 2 sparkling ice drinks and 3 cases of water. I never ordered this. 2 weeks later I 6 ,3 gallon water bottles. I called and complained, 2 weeks later I got 4 , 3gallon water bottles Now by this time I told them not to send anymore water till I had a chance to drink what they sent. The next week I got 4 more water bottles. At a 6 dollar a bottle deposit, so they ran up my bill like crazy and expect payment in full, or they would not pick up the empties, at 6 dollars a pop for deposit. So that is what happened to me. I have had their service for years and been pretty unhappy but so many other issues in daily life to address switching companies. My driver tried to sexually harass me about 3 years ago and I was fighting a serious hospital "superbug" and too tired to do anything about it. I literally have avoided him and just leave my empties out even if I am home. I called him a couple of months ago as he left me double the amount of waters that I normally get, which obviously doubled my bill. I finally addressed the sexual harassment issue with him and he admitted to being out of line and did apologize, however, it was a little too late. I have now switched companies and so much happier w/the new company. I found out also that their bottles are NOT BPH free and not even sure how fresh their spring water really is. Unfortunately, the Reno office lacks any customer service capability. I am owed a $48 bottle deposit refund for 8 empty bottles that I put out (and were picked up by Alhambra) in June 2016. A year and numerous phone calls later they still haven't credited my account. I do not recommend Alhambra water delivery in the Reno area until they replace or train the office staff. read more

Ordered service and they were able to deliver our hot/ cold dispenser cooler weeks later (12/28). The cooler we rented with the service worked well for a few hours until the cold water stopped dispensing completely. Only the hot dispenser worked. I called customer service and was told they could switch the cooler out on 12/30. My son waited home for them all today and at 5 after they didn't show I called to make sure they were still coming. I was told, "the notes say you were not home for delivery but I don't quite understand what else the note says. It's weird." The customer service rep didn't even understand the notes made by the delivery man and there was no way he came by today. We have dogs that would've barked at the door. They transferred me to someone who could reschedule the delivery. After holding for 15 minutes another rep came on the line and was very nice but said he could not get someone back out until 1/4. No one will be home and we cannot take off work so they can deliver between 8-5. I am canceling the service. I wish I would've read the reviews before ordering. What a disappointment! Update: They came though and were able to replace the cooler today (12/31) so I'm not cancelling after all. Hopefully service is smoother from now on. read more

Can't believe they just bypass our 1/4/18 delivery date "due to the holidays". So, logic would dictate they would make that up as soon as possible. Nope, here it's two days away from the next two week delivery date and still no water - 12 days after the 4th. Empty bottles and empty customer service. Did we want to wait until our delivery date? Not a chance, we want our water when it's due otherwise why don't I just pick up the water myself. We are a 600 sq foot store, what happens when we move to the 4,000 sq foot store? Answer? Cancel service and go elsewhere to a place that is consistent with their deliveries.
