Wow! We have been looking for a good Thai restaurant in the area and we've finally found it. The server was so sweet and she said she even hand-made the dumplings we had that day. There were three of us and we collectively ordered the Soft Roll & Kha Nom Jeeb (Thai Dumplings) as appetizers and then had the Chicken Pad Thai and Chicken Yellow Curry. The Soft Rolls were light and refreshing. The Thai Dumplings and the sauce they were served with had a lot of flavor. The Chicken Pad Thai & Chicken Yellow Curry were the best of each I've had in a very long time. Saw the menu and was very excited to try the food. Unfortunately, they stop answering their phones at 7pm on a Wednesday night. The phone rings and rings and then just disconnects. A little bit of common courtesy would be nice, get an answering machine that says hey we're too busy to even bother picking up our phone right now. Not very customer friendly at all. Pretty disgusted right now. Can't even imagine how they treat people that walk in the door after 7, or do they just lock the door. Guess we'll never know. read more

Almost a year later this will be my second review of Blue Elephant because it is still my favorite restaurant in town!! Since they have been open I have ordered at least once a month from them due to the consistency in yummy food and their customer service. When you order over the phone they repeat your order back to ensure no mistakes. They're efforts during Covid have been outstanding with the new curbside pick up making it very easy to get your food. I've been waiting for this place to open and let me tell you; COMPLETELY worth the wait! The decor is beautiful, the wait staff were wonderful and knowledgeable. The golden tofu & money bags appetizers were deliciously crispy and flavorful. For dinner I had the Pad Pik Prow with tofu, mildly spiced with a tangy pepper flavor with crunchy bright vegetables. My boyfriend had the spicy green curry with duck and he really enjoyed it, especially the sauce. And my first time trying iced Thai tea was an experience I'll never forget. Our family had such a great experience at this Thai restaurant. The wait staff was very attentive and the food was delicious. We were there on a Sunday and seated right away. The atmosphere was authentically Thai. We had steamed dumplings as our appetizer, and they were really delicious. My wife and i had Pad Thai and my daughter and son-in-law had the drunken noodles. Everyone loved their meals and the portions were large for the price. The Thai Iced Tea is the best I've ever had, and if you've never tried fried ice cream, you don't know what you're missing. Ok so the food was good, though I'm not familiar with Thai food. And the bar tender Dylan was great. That being said, the kitchen staff isn't very good with timing. My husband got his food a full 15 minutes before I got mine, which was pretty annoying. Hopefully it was just a fluke. I got the Pad Khing with crispy duck. I've never had duck before, so I'm not sure if it's supposed to be chewy. Hubby says it was over cooked, so I'm going to take his word for it. He had the Cashew Shrimp, which he said was "ok". Ordered to go. Two curries: one red chicken very spicy and one chicken Panang medium spicy. Both were very very spicy and seem to have the same vegetable and sauce. Both were extremely dry and tasted terrible. Not recommended for take out. read more

We really enjoy this small diamond in the rough located on Boston Road in Wilbraham. The food is wonderful and reasonably priced. Service is wonderful. I was wondering about the outside dining being on such a busy road but no worries! Carefully planted landscaping provides a privacy screen and noise barrier! read more

Food is very good! Service is attentive and prompt. Everyone there is very pleasant. Clean and relaxing surroundings. We like Thai food and have been to many of the restaurants in the area. Our favorite used to be one we go to frequently when in Boston. The Blue Elephant is our new favorite! There have been a lot of restaurants at that spot over the years. Do not go to this restaurant! The online menu has no prices, then I picked up my order and it was all inside brown bags that were staples shut. I returned home and one plate I ordered was missing. This place is delicious. The food is fresh and of good quality, the service is friendly and helpful. The people we sat next to said they eat there twice a week. I totally get why. It's not sugary, heavy "American-style" Thai. It's light and flavorful and has excellent vegetarian options (you can get pan fried tofu instead of meat in any dish.) simply delicious! The restaurant was nearly empty, plenty of staff standing around - however they insisted that I sit at the bar, refused to seat one person at a table. Uncomfortable. A great Thai restaurant in good location. It is easily accessible with plenty of parking. The building is inviting and the inside is elegant and cozy. The food itself is a true Thai food that we loved and the service is friendly and efficient. I cannot express how excited I was when I happened upon this gem and took my first heavenly bite of their delicious chicken pad see ew - I won't have to trek all the way to Suffield to get my thai food fix any longer! This place is everything the reviews indicate and more. So far I have only had take out, but it was so amazing I can't wait to come back. I never get the chicken and usually opt for veggies since, in my experience, chicken in pad see ew looks so sad, boiled and bland. I took a chance here and I am so glad I did. This is our second trip here in two weeks. I've had the Thai Pad, last week and the Drunken Noodles this week and both were excellent. My wife enjoyed the Golden Tofu and Jasmin Rice and loved it. This will definitely be our new go to place. read more

Such a frustrating experience! Called at 5:30 for take out and was told it would be an hour. Got there at 6:30 and food wasn't even started yet. After waiting another half hour I had them cancel my order and left. It was full of people waiting so apparently we weren't the only ones. The owner just kept making excuses and blaming her staff because she said not to take any more takeout orders. Have had take out there and the food is pretty good but most certainly not worth waiting 2 hours for! read more
