$10.99 for 3 fabulous tacos full of brisket, pulled pork, and chicken! Staff was in training, but everything was clean and delicious. We wish they would've had a small trash can near the drink bar as no one knew what to do with their straw trash, so they just laid it on the table, but the staff was floating and picking everything up quickly. Delicious and we will be back!

Food was close to 5 stars, as was service. We sampled brisket, their original sausage, fried okra, mac and cheese, and slaw, plus a Fort Chaffee salad with smoked chicken. The meats and sides were excellent: brisket was well-smoked and moist (fatty selected over lean, by choice), sausage was well seasoned but a bit dry -- never fear, the three sauce choices made up for that nobly. The salad was a nice mix of mandarin oranges, chopped strawberries, and candied pecans. I added smoked chicken -- a quarter pound of chopped thigh and leg meat. Tasty! But skip the raspberry dressing; it's called vinaigrette but had no zip. A better choice would have been to dress the chicken with one of the BBQ sauces and dump it over the salad greens! Everyone behind the counter was super nice and informative. The chairs were comfortable, and there are booths, too, as well as a party room available to reserve (501-448-2886). We will come back for the Monday and Friday specials, even though it's way way out Chenal in far west LR.

My friend took me here while I was visiting Little Rock, AR. We came here on a Saturday at around 8pm. I ordered 1/3 lb of brisket and also 1/3 lb of pulled pork. I wanted a baked potato as a side but they were out, so I ordered potato salad instead. The brisket was tender and had good flavor, however, the pulled pork was dry and bland. My friend wanted to order ribs but they were out, so she ended up ordering the brisket with coleslaw and mac & cheese Only encounter with staff is during ordering - no issue with service but nothing extraordinary. Sad that several items were not available - maybe it was the time we came, not sure ..... perhaps it would be good to know ahead of time what is not available (eg write/post it on a board) as opposed to finding out when you're ordering at the counter. It would great if they had an option for 1/4 lb so that one can order and taste a variety of meat OR maybe an option for a meal (eg 2-meat with a side; 3-meat with 2 sides, etc) Ambiance - Restaurant is clean and well-lit. It was not packed when we were there. Price is reasonable. Lots of parking.

This is a new BBQ spot close to me so I had to check it out. Simple way to order with a food line and add items as you go. Nice helpful staff. They have a sampler dish that was a rib, some sliced sausage (I went jalapeño because heat is tasty), some pulled pork and beef brisket. They have some sauces to try as well their original, hot and spicy, and finally fresh apple. Rib was fall off the bone and all the sauces went well with it if you like a bit sweet then the "fresh apple" was very flavorful. The "hot and spicy" has nice flavorful heat without over powering the seasoned meats. I really enjoyed the jalapeño sausage. The pulled pork might have dried out a bit while I ate wand wrote at the same time but I really enjoyed the "fresh apple" sauce with the pulled pork and with the e sauce was nice and moist. The beef brisket melted in my mouth and I enjoyed it without any sauces because it was seasoned well. Simple sides of beans and Mac and cheese. A very clean eating experience with no frills decor. Simple seating. Not too busy around midweek dinner. I was eyeing the desserts but this gives me something to look forward to for my next meal here. Price was consistent for Little stock for BBQ. Overall really enjoyed my meal here and highly recommend!

Hey friends, just a warning to reconsider patronizing Blue Ember Smokehouse West Little Rock, AR. Juju and I stopped by for lunch on a rare child free afternoon. This was our first dining experience with them. I ordered a pork sandwich with slaw, bbq beans, and fried okra. They gave me a little number for the okra since it was made fresh. I tried to wait on my okra to start my meal, but it had been forever, so I cut a 1" triangle off the edge of my sandwich, where there was no meat present, just to avoid the extra bread, still waiting on that okra They have 3 sauces. I combined the regular and hot and it was still completely bland. I ate 3 bites of my sandwich, and 4 bites of beans and because I was so hungry and continued to wait for the rest of my meal to arrive, and after sitting for a good while, Juju was done with his entire meal. I took my tray back up the the check out (the setup is like subway or chipotle). I asked the girl at the cash register for a refund on the basis that: 1. I still hadn't gotten my okra, the rest of my meal had now gone cold while waiting on aforementioned okra, and that my husband (who is a much slower eater than I) was done with his entire rib plate, and we would like to leave. Here's where it gets contentious. Now, I have a short bob haircut, but am NOT Karen presenting. I even put a full face of make up on today, which y'all know is a big thing as a SAHM to 3 kids. Y'all, this young blonde woman of maybe 23 said she would only refund me for the okra that I didn't get, because I "got all my other food". I explained again that the rest of the plate had grown cold bc (silly goose that I am) likes to eat my entire meal together, not have an okra dessert. She then whipped back to their ordering process...was I given a number plaque, yes...it was a number 7...Did I inform my cashier? Yes, she's the one that gave it to me and we spoke about it briefly. Well, apparently she didn't add it to my ticket so they didn't know. Now, y'all, I have been in the industry for too damn long not to know that a ticket pops out of the line printer when something fresh made is ordered. But somehow during this process she had taken an accusatory tone, which obviously was unsettling me to which I replied "it is not my fault that you dropped the ball, will you please call your manager so I can clarify?" Her response- "I AM THE MANAGER". Of course you are. Christ on a Carousel. Also, "you've eaten half of it" came out of her mouth at one point in there, which obviously was not anywhere near the case, Anyway, long story I could feel bipolar rage bubbling up, which is not pleasant for anyone involved, so I acquiesced at the refunding of two sides. 6 dollars and some change. So I "wouldn't mess up her drawer". I was underwhelmed with the food and overwhelmed with the hostility of the so called hospitality, so if anyone knows anyone who owns it, I'd like to have an (I swear) reasonable conversation about the whole ordeal.

This location has just recently opened. The atmosphere was really nice e. The staff were polite and friendly. I had the brisket sandwich and it was very moist and tasty. I choose the Mac n cheese side. It was ok not bad but not special. Prices were very reasonable for the amount of food. They do weigh the meat as you'd sandwich is made my brisket was 0.37. They also have 4 different barbecue flavors of sauce to choose from.

Someone mentioned that everyone loved Raiz the last time it was ordered so I was all on board. I ordered the Sweet potato fries and Tandoori chicken pizza. The fries were waffle cut and dusted with what i assume was cinnamon and sugar. They came with syrup for dipping. They didn't need the syrup. Sure it would probably taste great but the fries were AMAZING on their own. The pizza...... the crust was one of the best I've had in Central AR. It felt homemade but tasted fancy. The texture was great. I wish there was more sauce but that's a nitpick because the veggies were fresh and the chicken was so flavorful. I may have just created a new fixation meal. Our meals were packaged well and accurate. Our delivery came at the specified time. I'll definitely have to stop in to try more out in person. I've met the chef/owner before and you can tell how passionate he is about his menu and business. That said, I feel inspired to take a minute out of my life and find out that this restaurant seems like a hidden gem. We've never heard of it before, and Tosca pointed it out out of the corner of our eyes as we were passing by. I think the restaurant looks very nice, Tosca pointed out that it is adorable and the decor is very relaxing. The service was phenomenal, and the people behind the counter are knowledgeable and very happy to help. Our server recommended the whipped carrot feta thingy, and it was superb. I had the sausage egg and cheese burrito, and it was spot on. Tosca got the El Goodo bowl, and while the ingredients were amazing and very nutrient dense, the flavor was amiss. This was remedied slightly by adding the roasted pineapple salsa from my burrito to her bowl. She also got the Go Greener drink, but it was lacking something as well. Not bad, it just needs a little zest or something. All in all, very good, and we will be back to try some of these other delicious looking items.

It's not, I learned, but studying the menu at City Silo you'd not be wrong to consider that, perhaps, there might be some buried in your food or green drink. The names given to menu items here are all playful riffs on the names given to THC and CBD products elsewhere in the country. Aside from the monikers, the menu here is a fever-dream of wonderfully healthful-sounding offerings and the physical space in which to enjoy it all is seriously perfection. It's immaculate and well-designed and just a charming place in which to spend an hour or two. Between two of us, a "Green Light Go" drink ($10.50 for a small), a "Super Classy" acai bowl ($13), and a "Kind Veggie Burrito" ($11) were consumed and we left feeling that this place practiced what they preached: clean eating, that makes you feel good about what you've consumed but also that you enjoyed consuming. My acai bowl was packed with so much good stuff (greek yogurt, almond butter, bananas, blueberries, strawberries, cashews, roasted pepitas, hemp seeds, cacao nibs, bee pollen, granola, and honey) that I wasn't even certain where the acai was. With an additional two outposts in Tennessee I can happily say that City Silo + Pantry would fit in perfectly in Northern California, perhaps in my neighborhood, where I'd be quite pleased to welcome them.

We ordered the pigs in a biscuit, but our server misheard us and brought the biscuit basket instead--a very happy accident! She gave us four spreads to try: orange honey butter, bacon jam, raspberry jam, and apple butter. The biscuits were fabulous, and the orange honey butter was incredible. The bacon jam was another favorite--we liked it so much that we ordered a large container to take home. I make a bacon vinaigrette dressing from time to time and wanted to try using it, and it turned out perfectly. We had coffee and the Surf & Turf Bloody Mary, which was excellent with just the right amount of spice. For brunch, we ordered the sweet potato hash without the onions and peppers and added goat cheese--it was delicious. The bacon avocado Bennie was perfectly prepared, and we added a single pancake that was wonderful because it wasn't overly sweet. What started a little rocky ended up being a fantastic brunch. Great food, friendly service, and so many little touches that made the meal memorable. We would absolutely go back--just with our names already on that waitlist!

This was my first time visiting a Cheba Hut, and I have to admit, walking into a restaurant that is completely marijuana-themed is different, but honestly kind of fun. The vibe is unique, laid back, and memorable without feeling sketchy or over-the-top. The cashier was on the quieter side, but she was extremely polite, respectful, and genuinely helpful while ordering. Customer service overall was solid. Now for the food and pricing, this is where things get a little mixed. My total came out to $21.38 for an 8-inch sandwich, a drink, and a Goo Ball. At that price point, I expected something close to one of the best sandwiches I've ever had. Unfortunately, while the flavor delivered, the portion-to-price ratio absolutely did not. I tried the Goo Ball first: Krispies, peanut butter, cocoa, honey, butter, and marshmallows rolled into a ball. Honestly? This thing was $3.59 worth of disappointment. It was bland, underwhelming, and somehow managed to taste like almost nothing despite all those ingredients. Maybe this hits differently if you're stoned, but for me it just wasn't worth the money at all. 2/10 For the sandwich, I ordered the "5-0": Smoked ham, Genoa salami, prosciutto, pepperoni, bacon, giardiniera peppers, cheddar, lettuce, tomato, onion, pickle, Shake, and house dressing. Food came out in about 9 minutes, which is pretty reasonable. Flavor-wise? The sandwich was actually really good. The meats and dressing worked well together, the bread was solid, and overall it tasted fresh and satisfying. I'd honestly give the flavor an 8/10. But the value? That's the problem. For a $12 sandwich, the portions felt skimpy: - 2 slices of pepperoni - 1 slice of bacon cut in half - 2 slices of salami - 1 slice of cheese - 1 tomato slice cut in half - maybe 1/8 of a pickle slice There was genuinely more lettuce than every other topping combined. It felt like a sandwich built to look full instead of actually being full. If this sandwich were priced around $8-9, I'd probably leave happy. But at $12+, I expected a much more generously stacked sub. Cheba Hut has a cool concept, clean restaurant, and tasty food, but the pricing versus portion size keeps this from being a place I'd regularly come back to. Great vibe, decent sandwich, disappointing value.

I've done brunch, lunch and snacks here. There are weekly/daily specials too. Let's start at the crux the namesake of this place...the croissant! Let me count the ways this bread can take on so many variations from sweet & savory to bun status. I've had butter, chocolate, almond, pistachio, plus several specialty flavors, can you say TURTLE? All wonderful. Sandwiches - Turkey Cheddar, ham/gruyere and my favorite quick breakfast jalapeño kolache. Breakfast standard eggs toast, and protein...while I don't really care for hash browns, they make them just right here tender and just crispy enough not burnt. My favorite meal is the sweet & spicy smash burger with a salad. With that said I have also tried the soups with my burger unfortunately, I am not a fan. They tend to be on the bland side for me. There are still items I must try (chicken salad, quiche etc.) Until then, happy eating.
