It's a very nice place to "eat in." Some nice architectural views. I like the breast of turkey the best. Nice employees as well.

If you want to try a different type of bbq, this is your place. I don't care for many bbq's, but wanted to try this. I am so glad I did! We had a late lunch/early dinner on a Sunday afternoon (about 3PM) and were disappointed to hear they were out of baked potatoes. They don't have a huge menu so this was a thing. The lean brisket was moist and had a good smokey flavor. Their original bbq sauce has a bit of a kick to it but it was pretty good. The fried okra was lightly battered not over salted, and cooked fresh, so it was very good. They had brisket jalapeños but they were small and thin, not what we're accustomed to in Texas, and the flavor wasn't consistent. One was super hot. Stopped in last evening. Overall grade I would give is C+. The environment is nice. Didn't realize it was a cafeteria style ordering type. Now onto the issues. Ordered Burnt ends- they were burnt for sure. Overcooked and like chewing on leather with bbq sauce on it. Most good burnt ends are made from brisket ends- this place does not. They use pork belly. It was almost un-eatable. Ribs were tender but no flavor. Brisket was lean and probably the best out of all the choices we got. Potato salad was decent. Another big problem was the corn on the cob. Drenched in butter and left in aluminum foil to get soggy and overdone. The sweet potato wrapped in aluminum foil and inside of potato was complete mush. Only the brown sugar and butter saved it. Baked beans were ok, but I've had better Bush brand baked beans. Was overcharged for too many corn cobs, compensated with ice cream for 3 people- probably the best thing out of the whole meal that came to over $72 for 3 people. All in all not worth the trip and there is much better bbq joints around Rogers. If they worked to change some of the issues it may be worth the money, but not until then would I hand over my money for subpar BBQ meat and sides. read more

The meats are good, the brisket twisters are great, but most of the side are meh. I'm mostly here to complain about the corn on the cob. I'm not sure if they are over cooking it or if it's just second hand cobs that they are getting from behind the local Golden Corral after they close.... Either way it's truly awful. But like an abusive relationship, I just keep coming back in hopes that it's changed. P.S. The burnt ends are bomb. P.P.S. The staff is always wonderful. read more

UPDATED REVIEW: Returned for a 2nd visit with visiting family. Only compliments on the quality and flavor. Pulled pork was moist and delicious. Brisket, jalapeño pineapple sausage, and sides were even better. Turkey was very moist, some of the best we've ever had from a BBQ restaurant. Let's start with the good: -Brand new restaurant and clean. -Pricing for food amount is "good". -The Pineapple Jalapeño Sausage The not so good: -meats were not hot, not warm, closer to room temp to cool" -thanks god they offered their own sauces as the smoked meats needed the flavor. -Brisket, tender with slight smoke, but DRY!! -ordered fries as a side and they said they would need to drop some and be ready in 5 minutes. 20 minutes later had to go to the counter to ask for the MIA fries. Showed up 3 minutes later, no apologies for the delay, just "here". If you have $45-$50 for BBQ take your funds to Wrights BBq or Oz Bbq in Roger's before coming here. (My opinion) read more

We came to Blue Ember today for the first time as they are brand new. Wow! They have absolutely earned their spot in the local barbecue scene. The brisket was moist and tender, and the three cheese sausage was drool worthy. Their potato salad was my favorite in the area. The service is friendly and welcoming, great people! My family and I stopped in today, and everything we ordered was outstanding. I had the three-cheese sausage with baked beans, my wife had the moist brisket with okra and potato salad, and my son enjoyed the pulled pork with mac & cheese. Every single bite was delicious. The sausage was a big hit with my wife, I loved the pulled pork, and my son was happy with it all. The okra tasted just like home cooking and took me back to my roots, while the potato salad was hands-down the best I've had--whatever they do to it sets it apart. The baked beans were out of this world. The meats were tender and flavorful, the sides were every bit as good, and the service was excellent. With so many good BBQ options in Northwest Arkansas, Blue Ember definitely earns its place among the favorites. Typical line order for a BBQ place. I tried the moist brisket and pork burnt ends. For sides it was the baked beans and coleslaw. I would say overall it was an uninspiring meal. Not bad, but not great either. I did enjoy the pork burnt ends, which was a first try for me. Note, fries are not made to order and are served from under a hot lamp. Staff was mildly friendly and really no one acted like they wanted to be there. The young person bussing tables really needs to learn to move with purpose. The restaurant was clean, but not busy for a Friday evening . The number of highly praised reviews I've seen online did not match my experience. read more

I just saw this was open in Rogers, Arkansas. I love BBQ so, my wife and I tried this new place call Blue Ember Smokehouse. On the outside it doesn't look like a BBQ restaurant. It looked modern. Well, we were pleasantly surprised by how nice it was inside and even more so how good the food was. We started with the Twisted Brisket. You get two half jalapeño packed with cream cheese and brisket wrapped with bacon and then deep fried. OMG it was so good! Very rich and spicy but it was wonderful. Then we had the jalapeño cheese sausage sandwich and fries. They toasted the bun and gave plenty of meat. You have choices of sauce. Apple, original and hot and spicy. They are all good. The fries were cooked fresh and were good. It was better priced than most other BBQ places. Let's face it meat is expensive! I highly recommend this restaurant. I'm picky. It was well worth the cost and I will be going back. They have specials and I'm gonna check them out. Also, an ice cream cone is $.99 that is hard to beat. read more

The food is amazing!!!! The meat is well smoked, for which I had the chicken. They even left the skin after removing from the bone! The cups are plastic and souvenir like. The wood you see in the front is the same as what is used in the smoker, which is in front of the building and covered, of course! The guys working are so knowledgeable about the process and are sweet. The place looks upscale and modern, but for the price and quality you wouldn't think so...the price is cheap but the quality is not! It is really good, juicy, and NOT DRY. Had high hopes for this place. Easy to access and near areas we frequent. The food was not good. Meat was very dry and not seasoned well. Meat was near cold. Employees on the line taking orders and serving up the food were not friendly. Acted like they could care whether we were there or not. The restaurant was new and nearly empty, however we had to look for a place to sit because there were so many tables that were dirty and had food/dishes on them. Newly opened restaurant. Greeted quickly and servers explained the menu options. Ordered a pulled pork sandwich, baked beans , Cole slaw & fried okra. They plated our food as we moved along with our tray while they cooked the okra. Then explained where the sauces, silverware, drinks are. We chose those options and found our seats. The food was all delish. The buns were toasted and not your typical white buns. The fried okra is outstanding! Only improvement could be the cardboard trays they serve the sides in aren't suited to beans or Cole slaw. Will definitely be going back. read more

my husband and i visited on wednesday, 09/10/25. i had the smoked bologna sandwich which was on burned toast and baked beans which had no taste and cold. my husband had the plate that had pulled pork, brisket and a rib. the meat was dry and cold. the brisket peppers were burned. we were very unhappy with the barbeque. service was not great - acted like we were bothering them to place the order. not a bbq place that we will visit again. read more

My wife and I decided to tryout the new barbecue place in Rogers. It was truly a treat. The meat was well prepared and tasted wonderful. It is around the same prices that you find at most barbecue restaurants. You walk in and tell them what meat and how much you want. The sides are ala carte which they have a variety. The dining area is clean and has great natural lighting. If you like good barbecue, you need to try this place. read more
