I've worn glasses since I was eight and contacts since 15. Scott Lam was probably the biggest rip-off I've ever experienced. First of all, I was motivated to go to one of the four local eye doctors my insurance will give a measly 10% discount on. I admit, that was my first mistake. These guys happened to have openings right away (second mistake) and advertised $150 for exam and lenses. "Even for contacts?" "Yes, even for contacts." No. He pushed some sort of lens that would be "less irritating" and cost more, but even the standard gas-perm lenses wouldn't have fallen below $300. And, since he was so generous to give me a "discount" on some product he was pushing, no insurance-based discount applied. Finally, I know that contacts, particularly hard or gas-perm contacts, may need to be fitted once after the initial exam, but I shouldn't have to go back for fittings 5 times--including once when he "lost" my measurements. The prescription changed wildly from one fitting to the next, leaving me unable to see out of one eye or the other. The right eye still isn't correct, but enough is enough. I do not recommend them for optical services, but I can't comment on the shop out front, which appears to sell mostly sunglasses. read more

Went here last week because I took a knee to eye doing MMA type stuff and had an issue that has since went away luckily! Anyways, this place is great and I highly recommend. I called about 9:30am to see if they could take that day for a last minute eye exam and was seen at 11am! Impressive! I then get to the office and was greeted and offered some water or coffee. I first declined because I had just had some but he then told me it was an Armenian coffee! I had been hearing about how good this stuff is so I took them up on one. He made one for me which is pretty neat because this is like a special brew type process not automated drip American type stuff! hahah Anyways, it was really good and I was amped all day but back to the eye review! The doctor I met who is there on-site was super nice and helpful. He checked my eyes and pointed out 2 issues that the other optometrist I went to just months before never pointed out or maybe even saw. This was pretty impressive in itself. I could tell how much he really cared about educating and helping people. The equipment there also seemed very updated and high-tech compared to my last optometrist I went to. Office was very clean and professional as well. This will be my new optometrist for any future needs I have. If you can read this...;) go see Blue Eyes Optometry! You wont be disappointed. read more

On stop shop for all your needs! After few other places and few hundred $ wasted and screwed up results I decided to give this place a shot and I am glad I did. Quick and accurate exam performed in house revealed that my previous exams were grossly off causing headaches and nausea. After picking up the frames from available wide selection my glasses were ready in about a week. Here we are After two years i am still Very satisfied with the quality while I am not loosing my productivity working 8 hours on the screen analyzing data! I needed prescription sunglasses for my daughter so after i picked her up from school we made a trip to Blue Eyes Optical. We parked in rear and walked inside from the front door. First, the music inside was so loud that i thought that i am in a nightclub or so. We started to browse the selection since there was nobody to greet us and 10 minutes later the "Owner" raises his hand up from the rear of the store asking to give him a minute since he was on a cell phone. He made me wait for 25 minutes and I gave up and decided to leave. Since we parked in the rear and he was in the back of the store he noticed me leaving and i asked him why did he make me to wait 25 minutes. He said that he already said sorry and he is alone in the store and has a very important phone call. I don't know what can be more important than the customer if you have a business. This is either just his hobby or a money laundering operation. read more

You can't beat a contact lens exam for $89, or so I thought...But I would have rather paid double if I knew it would mean getting the wrong prescription and having to wait 4 weeks (actually 29 days) to receive the (overpriced) box of contacts I ordered. Stay away! read more

If I could give this place a 10 star I definitely would! I'm leaving for a month long trip in 2 days and just realized that I had ran out of my contacts!! The regular place i usually go to did not have anything in stock per usual and told me it would take them about 2 weeks before it would arrive. I started looking around different places to see where I could get my contacts in quick and remembered that I had seen this place on IG and decided to give them a call. Lucky for me he had all the prescriptions I was looking for(my sister and brother also had no contacts left). I use to be a loyal customer, back in the day when Gor was in charge. I had the worst experience at this clinic. First of all they completely forgot about my order of sunglasses and his excuse was that it was due to human error and apologized. He offered to reduce the price of the sunglasses and i said no. I waited almost 3 months for my order and he knew that it was their fault. I'm just in the process of getting my refund. They offered great prices for contacts and some frames, NEVERTHELESS, I will never pay a dime for their products ever again. I suggest you take your time to find an eye clinic that is professional, because this place lacks it! read more

I went to their clinic multiple times but only got promises - no action. This Armenian guy got my payment and he got my glasses. Vrej remembers my name every time I call or go in there and they always have my best interest in mind. Recently the doctor that was working there left and they told me that if I went elsewhere for an exam they'd gladly reimburse me for the additional cost of what I would have paid with them. I really appreciated the service here. I came in at 645, 15 minutes before close. he did the exam and then made the glasses for me right on the spot so I didn't have to leave and come back. I'm sure he was ready to get out of there, but he really went the extra mile, stayed more than a half hour after close. Also hooked it up with the anti-glare lens, upgraded from the base plastic.
