And the secret is, other companies use BlueFrog to fill their orders. I was just at their Will Call desk the other day picking up a small order for a client. I have being in the business for few years. At first the relationship between Blue Frog and us was great but everything started to go downhill rapidly. From customer service to quality of work. I think that they fit for very small projects but do yourself a favor and look around. Couple of great places in the area: Black Stitches in Fremont. Carlene's T-Shirt Corner in San Leandro. The difference between these two shops and Blue Frog is that they have being in the business longer, customer service is consistent and procedures are consistent. read more

I own a web design and social media firm, and am often asked to have t-shirts & other promotional items created. I've not had a particularly good experience with garments - as it seems like there is often smudged inks & mistakes. I met the owner of Blue Frog (Mike Gibbins) at a business function. His operation sounded impressive, as he had more capabilities than other sources I've used. This review is long overdue! Blue Frog was generous enough to generously print my son's preschool shirts for him and his classmates for free. Lesa the manager was so kind and easy to work with. She knew that we were a non-profit preschool serving low income communities and was willing to donate the shirts and do all the custom printing for us! Amazing follow through, amazing follow up, and quality embroidery and screen printing work When it comes to quality control I am very particular, trained by a very picky clientele. The expectation is that we will deliver perfect products and on time delivery every single time. Blue Frog has a system of checks/balances that has kept me from making mistakes more times than I can count. They identify potential problems with options for solution when they come up, and communicate with a sense of urgency on projects knowing the stresses we are under with our clients to deliver a quality product on a set schedule. Absolutely the worst project mgr., office mgr I've ever had the "experience" to experience! Their motto: "Experience" the Frog?!! Really???!!! This is "the experience?" What a joke!!! This woman set the bar for the absolute worst customer service anyone could possible get at ANY company! Dealing with these people was worse than dealing with any government bureaucracy or even dealing with the IRS to find out what's going on in their heads!! Complete chaos, lack of transparency, total arrogance! All I wanted to do was speak to someone before my job went to print...216 tshirts. 3 color front, 1 color back. I left several messages with this "office mgr." No calls returned... but I did get an email reply after a few attempts... I simply inquired about process.. I just wanted to make sure the artwork I submit it would result in a decently printed garment for my customer ....I wanted to make sure I don't get 216 shirts back and have them look wrong... I just wanted to inquire about the process- any fail safeguard just to make sure something didn't look really glaringly wrong before all 216 shirts get printed & the whole job becomes a waste...You never know.... stuff can happen! Well we went back & forth on some emails...and the next thing I know I get this passive aggressive email: "I have been thinking about our conversations and I think we are not the right fit... We are going to need to pass on this project. I feel like another printer might be able to fit your needs a bit better I wish you the best of luck... Thank you." Now this would've been fine, if up to this point we had even had a single conversation!!! That is my point!!! I was never able to get past the receptionist or any of my phone communication attempts!! I had called three or four times, made attempts to communicate, left messages, & this office manager, project manager never returned one call to try to clarify, in one fell swoop, a single one of the four or five email miniature email exchanges!!! Most of the emails were just, "hi I called and left a message can you please return the phone call?" I was never given the opportunity to even speak with anybody in the company!!! This woman is the most arrogant, rude, spiteful, passive aggressive, fascist type a personality I have ever encountered.... to be this passive aggressive, and spiteful to customers you cannot possibly like your job, it is antithetical to a person who truly likes their job... It is more representative of someone who is fed up with the grind, who just can't stand their working environment, who just wants to pass their miserable existence off to other people ... I just can't comprehend any other rationale or reasoning behind her egregiously arrogant and contemptible personality... all done with this "polite" nasty little smiley face demeanor. She is an embarrassment to customer service. I cannot believe that a company leaves customers in her hands! Maybe that's why this company has a three-star rating!!! She is absolutely the worst, of the worst. I was never given the opportunity to have a conversation to clarify any questions until at the end when she finally decided to accept my phone call after she had sent me the email stating that "We are not a good fit." If you want to support people with this type a personality be my guest!!! Please read some of the reviews about the customer service... This place has the worst customer service ever if I could give it negative stars I would! They pride themselves on it but it's all lies. The receptionist Emily I talked to sounded so fake and I could tell she didn't care what I had to say. I left message after message to one of their project managers and I didn't get a call back. When I talked to the receptionist she said the project manager I worked with left for the day but I could tell she was lying because my merchandise was not ready for pick up yet, even though it was scheduled to be done already. Save your money, energy, and yourself from having to talk to those people or do any business with them. Also for a business it's pretty messy and unorganized inside. I had been carrying a very pleasant dialogue with Marilee, to receive a response from Mike interjecting into the conversation and tell me "we can not help you". I went back and forth to find out that I have to contact another person to place another order of a past order made. I was sincerely appalled with the customer service demonstrated and will be looking for a new vendor to do business with. Word of advise- if I had to contact another person to place my order, simply make an introduction! It is not hard to add a cc: to an email. read more
