Dirty table say fir 30 minutes...
    Joanne D.

Very aloof, not welcoming. Waiter was barely audible. Asked for a drink menu, seemed to be a herculean effort to bring one. It arrived so sticky, that one could barely separate the pages, as if it never had been wiped clean. Lychee martini was very good. Gyoza tasty. Watched as another couple was led to a dirty table, then had to stand there waiting for it to be refreshed.....barely s soul in the place! Another table remained "dirty" for quite some time Not sure if I'll return....ever. I can good Asian food at so many other venues with a much better experience. Service Ambiance

    A6. Beef Teriyaki

With Chang An now closed I need a new Chinese restaurant. Unfortunately, Blue Fuji won't be it. We went in for Chinese food but they also serve sushi and there was a strong odor of fish when we walked in. We ordered mai tais which were pretty bad, bad enough that I didn't get a second drink. To eat we went with basics general gao chicken, beef teriyaki, and egg rolls. The egg rolls were the best of the order. Very large and nicely stuffed with a thin crisp shell. I would get them again. The beef teriyaki on the other hand was chewy with burnt parts. I prefer it served with spicy mustard but this came with no sauce. The orange chicken was average. The chicken was white meat and tender and the sauce had a nice spice. It came with limp broccoli. The service was fine but purely functional. There dining room was dead on a Friday night. Most of the time we were the only table, I think it maxed out at three. Definitely not a vibe. Bottom line: avoid the mai tai and the beef teriyaki. Other food is decent but if you are going to get it, get it to go. We will continue to search for a new regular Chinese restaurant.

    Takeout sashimi dinner

I got food fire Uber eats. Not my first choice to get takeout, but I had a big credit so I used it. Blue Fuji sashimi dinner that included 15 pieces was really really good. It was laid out really nicely, for a take-out dish. An added bonus? I got a salad and some rice as well, and even a miso soup, but I guess came with it and didn't say anything about it in their menu that I have looked at. Miso soup is flavorful, white miso. Nice chunks of tofu with some seaweed as well. The rice was good. I think it was sushi rice. My salad was quite ample to for a takeout salad as a side salad. I definitely would like to try them in the restaurant in the future.

Is this restaurant wheel chair assessable ? Pics seem to show booths only and bar level raised tables , are there any tables a person in a wheel chair can sit at?

There was a round table in main room.

They kept my Dasher informed so the service was excellent. The Gyoza was excellent, and the Chicken - filet mignon Hibachi was well beyond my expectation. I did not expect the full meal- salad, Miso Soup, noodles AND rice. I ordered Yummy sauce of course- because how can you eat Hibachi without it?? Everything was outstanding. I will definitely be ordering again!! I can't speak to ambiance, but I am sure it's lovely. I can't wait for next time! Such a treat! Don't mind the picture- I didn't want to even take the lid off before I took it. So well packaged!!

It's not authentic Japanese, it's an interpretation of Japanese by Chinese workers and Cooks. Also, Chinese service isn't great and the waiter here isn't attentive and a bit too casual for my taste. The food itself is just acceptable, and for the price not great. The atmosphere also still is pretty weak, and the restaurant is small. It's sort of almost like a hole on the wall. On the West Coast, I've eaten at over 30 authentic Japanese restaurants, and for those of you who aren't Japanese restaurant or sushi aficionados... This food is probably fine. If you know we're good, Japanese food is, don't come here and frankly you may need to drive to Boston to get it.

The layout of the restaurant is similar to the Brookline location, with the private booths on the right and special booths on the left, main seating area in the middle, and the bar seating towards the back. Only difference is the Brookline location has those cool matcha whisk structures, while this location has cool honeycomb structures. I would've loved to experience sitting in one of those. I always like to eat spicy so of course I got the Kyushu Spicy Tonkatsu Ramen. As always, broth is so flavorful with the perfect amount of spice. The ramen texture is my favorite, good amount of softness and waviness. The boiled egg is marinated just right, not too salty or sweet. The chashu pork is tender. I wanted to try their version of the spicy cucumbers. It's REALLY spicy. But also very good. The flavor reminds me of the Chinese chili oil sweet potato noodles, very spicy, kind of salty, and a strong taste of vinegar. I love snacking on it. The takoyaki is the best of course, perfectly soft and tender, with thin bonito shavings and great sauce. The fries are essentially seasoned the same way. Salted fries with the takoyaki sauces and bonito. The combo works very well together. Thai tea was good and service was great. If I'm ever in the area again, I'll stop by for another bowl.

The bun was delicious, with tender pork and a flavorful sauce and I loved having the Thai tea to sip on. We also ordered the cucumber salad to share and it was nice and fresh and spicy. My curry ramen was delicious and hearty. My partner ordered the #2 and I really liked the pork in his bowl, I preferred it over the tonkatsu in mine. We ended our meal with matcha tiramisu and during the current promotion, we won an order of popcorn chicken to redeem on our next visit. The restaurant is cozy and they make use of the small space with their honeycomb wall. There are lots of employees working, so service is quick and we were able to call our sever to the table with a button when we wanted to order and pay.
