Beef teriyaki absolutely disgusting! To say the least!

Went out to get some apps and a drink and the beef teriyaki had long nasty tendons throughout the beef, I asked for my money back and they said no way. You ate most of it . ... R u kidding me??? Bar tender said I was just looking for my money back.... Seriously

Buffet back today. New Authentic Sichuan items. Fresh Sushi. Desert. New Bar display. Wisky. Bourbon. Vodka. Great smile all around in building.

Front desk... Owner waiting for business. It was dead, why was it dead, maybe it's Tuesday

Ordering online is a challenge, service they use is terrible Arrived at restaurant and spoke with owner. Didn't like I was complaining about service. I still ordered, owner didn't know the menu, you're the owner I assume you know your menu. Asked to alter one dish, said no, I asked if she can ask chef. No problem. Just terrible experience, the food wasn't that great. Would i return, probably not. You can get better sushi in Malden Ma.

Had take out recently. Very disappointed. They have gone way downhill. Won't be going back.

Closed by health department for poor sanitation, smoking in the kitchen and failing many surprise inspections.

Good location, but food was very mediocre and lack of taste. We ordered take out and we got food poisoning.

The server was good, food was okay, but the icing on the cake was the mouse that ran across the dining room floor.

May 15, 2026 I'm…read morewriting this a week retrospectively from my experience, since I've been through a few things medically in the last week and needed time to think about our family's experience at Karma-Burlington. First - our server, Kendra A. Was really good and kind. She worked hard for the 7 of us and my few criticisms don't reflect on her at all. First - let me say that Karma/Burlington is not set up properly for large parties. Our table was located right next to the kitchen door. It is neither a gracious nor a comfortable place to have a large dinner together. Secondly, the table was both too narrow and not long enough to accommodate people and large plates of food. In other words, it was cramped and because of that, not nearly as welcoming as it could have been. Third - the music in the restaurant is obnoxious. It was always on the edge of being too loud and it's directed at a younger crowd .... People who either don't care about assaults on their hearing or who don't care about being able to have meaningful conversations at moderate levels. Now... let's talk about the food. Generally, it was really good, though their Pu-Pu platter for two sucks for the price ($37.00 each). There were no egg-rolls on it, only two fried shrimp, a stack of boneless Chinese rib pieces, and some chicken fingers - which were overly breaded and not worth eating. I also counted four crabs Rangoon pieces on each platter. Not exactly a generous offering!! I'd definitely skip this appetizer next time. Now - we chose, as a family, to eat communally - passing plates around and sharing everything. I've attached the photo of the receipt, so that you can see what we ordered. Three plates stood out as exceptional: the Coffee-braised short ribs were really delicious. Fattening, but amazing. The second was the Beef with mixed vegetables - one of my perennial favorites at Karma. The third was the Mongolian Beef, which was tender, savory, and delicious. The Stir-fried Yee Mein was not memorable and I'd not order it again. My eldest daughter ordered the Philly Maki and the Cucumber and Avocado Maki. Both were good but very much not exceptional. A number of us ordered the Hot & Sour soup and it was very good - as it usually is. The soup was served piping hot and quickly, which made it a small delight. The service we received was good across the board and the restaurant cannot be faulted for how busy they were.... Which I have to say did not at all impact the quality of our meal. If you want to go to Karma-Burlington as a group, tell the manager that you do not want the table where we were! Other than my specific concerns, it was a very good experience and I'm happy we went.

We booked our table in advance, and the reservation process was smooth--they did take a credit card to hold the table, which was totally fine and gave us peace of mind for a busy night. The staff was incredibly accommodating. They allowed us to bring our own birthday cake, and at the end of the meal they brought it out with birthday candles for my daughter, which made her feel so special. That thoughtful touch really meant a lot to us. The food was excellent. We loved the sushi--fresh, beautifully presented, and full of flavor. The Yin Yang Chicken was a standout dish, perfectly cooked and absolutely delicious. The drinks were also fantastic and paired really well with the food. Our server was very attentive and knowledgeable, offering great recommendations for both food and drinks, which made ordering easy and enjoyable. Even though the restaurant was packed, the service never felt rushed. The atmosphere and ambiance were lively, vibrant, and perfect for a celebration. You could really feel the energy of the place. Overall, Karma was the perfect spot for a birthday dinner--great food, great service, and a great vibe. We'll definitely be back for future celebrations and nights out. Highly recommend!

The layout of the restaurant is similar to the Brookline location, with the private booths on the right and special booths on the left, main seating area in the middle, and the bar seating towards the back. Only difference is the Brookline location has those cool matcha whisk structures, while this location has cool honeycomb structures. I would've loved to experience sitting in one of those. I always like to eat spicy so of course I got the Kyushu Spicy Tonkatsu Ramen. As always, broth is so flavorful with the perfect amount of spice. The ramen texture is my favorite, good amount of softness and waviness. The boiled egg is marinated just right, not too salty or sweet. The chashu pork is tender. I wanted to try their version of the spicy cucumbers. It's REALLY spicy. But also very good. The flavor reminds me of the Chinese chili oil sweet potato noodles, very spicy, kind of salty, and a strong taste of vinegar. I love snacking on it. The takoyaki is the best of course, perfectly soft and tender, with thin bonito shavings and great sauce. The fries are essentially seasoned the same way. Salted fries with the takoyaki sauces and bonito. The combo works very well together. Thai tea was good and service was great. If I'm ever in the area again, I'll stop by for another bowl.

Yum!! We went back to Kyuramen, very hungry and eager to try a variety of menu items. We thought…read moreabout trying one of the combo options, but I ended up ordering the curry ramen, and upgrading it for $7 to include a Thai tea and bao bun. The bun was delicious, with tender pork and a flavorful sauce and I loved having the Thai tea to sip on. We also ordered the cucumber salad to share and it was nice and fresh and spicy. My curry ramen was delicious and hearty. My partner ordered the #2 and I really liked the pork in his bowl, I preferred it over the tonkatsu in mine. We ended our meal with matcha tiramisu and during the current promotion, we won an order of popcorn chicken to redeem on our next visit. The restaurant is cozy and they make use of the small space with their honeycomb wall. There are lots of employees working, so service is quick and we were able to call our sever to the table with a button when we wanted to order and pay.

While the restaurant appeared a bit short-staffed at times and I unfortunately woke up with a lingering headache the next day, the overall experience was still very enjoyable and worthy of 4 stars. Service: Before we even walked in, the valet guy was super friendly, even though we parked ourselves. He held the door open for us and gave us his recommendations. Our server, Wafia (sorry, I don't know how to spell their name), really made my birthday dinner special. I don't know what word to use other than "chill" for her temperament. When my companion expressed that she didn't know what cut of steak to get, Wafia walked her through all the cuts of steak and how they differ in marbling. One reason I have to knock the review down to 4 stars is that we did feel like they were a bit short-staffed, since we discovered that Wafia was also working the bar. When she wasn't at our table, she was there. So when we were ready to order, we kept looking around for her, only to find she was busy at the bar. I saw what other reviews meant when they said their servers would disappear. However, their short-staffing might be because the 4th of July was the next day and there was a FIFA World Cup game going on. The other staff were very good about topping off our waters and were nice enough to engage with us as they did so, which made the experience feel different from other restaurants. I also appreciated how attentive the manager was. There was a situation where my companion dropped her fork and quietly said, "I need another fork" to me, and out of nowhere he came over to the table and told us he would get us another, and then 2 seconds later another staff member gave us one. When we left, the valet guy was still there to hold the door open and ask us what we thought. It was this added touch of friendliness that was most appreciated, and I have not seen a valet act this way at any other premium restaurant. Food: We found the food to taste exceptional. My 850 club sirloin was tender and well-cooked. The wagyu dumplings were so smooth and yummy. We loved the honey-roasted carrots and the bread. I found the bread and butter to be one of, if not the best, bread and butter offerings I've had compared to other steakhouses at this price point. We tried their famous milk and cookies and banana foster cake. I thought the cookies looked really good and were impressive for how they are baked to order, but I have had better cookies elsewhere at places like Cookie Monstah or Elite Dough Cookies. The little milkshake you get with the cookies was a cool touch and was very rich. The banana foster was huge with two large scoops of ice cream. My companion did think it had a bit too much rum and prefers Eddie V's style of burning, lighting the rum on fire, and pouring it on the cake. My last reason for why I have given this place a 4-star review is that when I woke up the next day, I had a throbbing headache that didn't go away, and even after taking a pill of Advil was still present. I'm not sure what did this to me, but what I will say is that I have had food from similar places that tend to add a lot of salt, like Abe & Louies and The Capital Grille, and I have never woken up the next day with a headache. I remember seeing the review about someone being on the porcelain throne after eating a tomahawk steak and thinking that it might just be a personal issue, but now I believe there is something to it.
