Unbelievably bad, unfortunately it was one of the only places open when we got back to our weekend rental. Chicken fingers were tiny and no meat. Generals chicken tough and chewy. This restaurant has been here for decades and I had never gone... until recently. I got a lunch special beef with pepper with appetizer choice boneless ribs. Im so glad that they have a non-deep fried appetizer choice with the specials. That is rare. The beef with pepper was delicious. The boneless ribs were fresh and not overcooked like other places. My only issue is the pricepoint on lunch is high at $17 and the portion of beef was small for the price. Id return for sure for dinner size entrees. read more

Amateurish is the best way to describe the food on a recent Saturday buffet. The hot & sour soup was neither hot nor sour. Worse, the mushrooms were from a can and the broth was weak. The array of buffet offerings had some decent dishes, however, the only green thing besides the salted edamame was broccoli that was brilliant color but mostly raw mixed with a beef/sauce combination. The egg rolls were great, so were the crab rangoon. The wings over-fried but the Peking ravioli were very good (note the 3 good things were likely not house-made). With wings, paper napkins just don't get it but that's what they use. The waitstaff had to be flagged a few times, i.e., inattentive and disconnected. Refills on the soda water were charged separately: Seriously, who the f does that anymore? I hear tell that the evening buffet is much better, but with me, you get one chance to screw me over so I'll not be returning under any circumstances and instead make our way to the other side of Bedford for some seriously delicious Chinese food and attentive service. read more

Our waiter was dry and unwelcoming. Asked couple of questions about the menu and his answers were short and cold. We ordered 2 dishes from menu and 2 buffet. I ordered chow mein with chicken and what I got was tasteless and unappetizing strips of mystery meat, bamboo sprouts and onions. My friend ordered a veggie dish that looked like it had come directly from a frozen veggie bag. My husband shared with me a half of his egg roll and egg drop soup. The egg roll was rancid and over fried and soup had an unpleasant flavor. Panda Express has a fresher and more flavorful menu at far less price. I've never had a bad time here, first time back in over 2 years. Heard the buffet is back, wanted to check it out, it was just like I remembered. Covid changes businesses, but it was kind of surprised they sat everyone in the same area instead of spaced out throughout the restaurant. I did like the hand sanitizer at the buffet. Glad to see a few changes in the selections in the buffet as well. Only things I'd change are the plates that are showing signs of age with black marks on them and rotate the plates. Post-pandemic, this was the buffet that I was craving the most. Even though it's just two salad bar stations, they keep it full- it seems like someone's bringing a fresh tray of something from the kitchen every few minutes. Notables from the buffet- the Sichuan pepper fish is always there and crispy/soggy delicious. Buddha's delight is also a staple, and although I try not to overdo it on the fried foods, there's no shortage of chicken fingers, scallion pancake, crab rangoon, etc. They also have plated desserts with the buffet on the back wall and three sauces on the end of the buffet... ginger soy, mustard and duck sauce. The hot & sour soup that comes with the buffet is also quality, with a little more pepper spice than other buffet places dare. All in all, it's a great lunch option since you don't have to wait to order and you can try a bit of everything. I probably end up here at least once every other week. It's never crazy crowded since they have lots of seating, although the servers are often a bit taxed. Buffet comes in about $15 a head, and don't forget to take care of your server. read more

One of the best Chinese buffet I have been in a long time! It helps that the food bar is not crowded, a few selections of the most common staples, but they are cooked to perfection! Crab rangoons, freshly made egg rolls, the fried rice, kung pao... everything is replenished as needed. Prices are also very reasonable; the atmosphere of the restaurant is very pleasant, calmed, and somewhat formal without it being too formal. Over all, a great choice for a calmed family outing, or a business lunch (we've seen them take place)... Definitely going back again, as it has become our "to go" spot since we moved to Massachussets. read more

I had lunch here recently with some co-workers. It was a Friday and was surprisingly not very busy. The buffet is not gigantic as some others I've been to, but the food was overall quite good. I would've liked a few more choices, but again all the choices available were of better than average quality. The place is very clean which is nice at the end of a pandemic. The staff were very attentive in refilling our drinks and taking away plates. I don't do a lot of buffets these days, but with a larger group it is easy and relatively cheap. read more

My original plans of a salad for lunch were quickly forgotten and we remembered Great Wall wasn't too far away. The buffet was available, but we didn't take a look at it. My mom had promised to bring my dad something home so we ordered off the menu to provide us with leftovers. The waiter did give us a bit of a look as the two of us ordered the 'Great Wall Platter for 3' but we assured him we would be taking some to go.
