Old school fresh Boston Style. Love the lobster sauce, fried rice, dumplings, and boneless spareribs

Right down the middle with 3 stars for their lunch buffet. Nothing was great, nothing was awful, everything was pretty much just decent, with a few oddities in the mix. Some observations: -- Wings: Nice glaze but a little overcooked -- Peking Ravioli: Crisp on the bottom, thick dough, overcooked dry interior -- Egg Roll: Solid, overly crisp -- Sweet and Sour Chicken: Gloppy one-note sauce, soggy chicken, taste and texture oddly like a donut -- Beef and Broccoli: Nicely done, broccoli neither over- nor under-cooked -- Kung Pao Chicken: Not spicy, tiny pieces, but generally good flavor and consistency -- Vegetarian/Buddha's Delight: Also nicely done -- Fried Rice: Bland, but good texture -- Egg Foo Yong: Crisp, somewhat cold read more

we had the lunch buffet. Some items were better than others, the egg rolls were forgettable the hot and sour soup was hideous. I would have liked to see boneless pork ribs in the selection read more

Walked in to order food to go and 2 women greeted us, nice! One being the owner who was just friendly and wonderful. We took food to go and really enjoyed it. Everything tasted fresh and was still hot when we got home. We're visiting this area, so may not be back anytime soon, but if in the area, we will order up! read more

This place is wonderful. I've been coming for 20+ years and the food and staff are great! The place is incredibly clean, staff is friendly, and food tastes great. They also have a gluten free menu! We love Alice, she's an angel! read more

Unbelievably bad, unfortunately it was one of the only places open when we got back to our weekend rental. Chicken fingers were tiny and no meat. Generals chicken tough and chewy. Egg roll was over cooked and had hardly any filling. Crab Rangoon tiniest amount of filling. Chicken wings were in the deep fryer way too long. Ended up throwing most of the food away. read more

We got their as the restaurant opened for lunch. Meeting two other people, specifically for the buffet. Buffet was terrible. One of the three of us didn't get the buffet and that was the best meal. Buffet didn't even have ribs. Fried chicken seemed under cooked and Fried rice was dry. The server was shot with us and had absolutely no personality. I hadn't even signed the check when he reached in front of me and snatched it out from in front of me. Definitely do not recommend read more

I actually don't even want to give a one star even.We went there tonight, food was awful, cold rice, chicken fingers are like 1 bite. did not sit well with our stomach. If one person is sick I understand but after we back home 3 of us start vomiting and worse diarrhea ,can't put our heads up. Over priced for little food in buffet. Bok choy was over cooked, little slimy.Actually most of all food are old and dry and cold instead of fresh warm food... Over priced for 3 people to eat a buffet that was cold and they serve leftover food from previous days for sure. Desserts were sitting out for along time not kept cold. Just disgusting. Will never return there. I would like a refund., of $83 dollars plus tips.I never recommend anyone to go there. This facility need to ban and shutdown by Food administration for their unhealthy old food. read more

Consistently good food. Never had an order that was less than optimal. Pricing is good. Highly recommend

Realyy pretty good deal for the money you get variety and full and the business makes a lot of money

This restaurant has been here for decades and I had never gone... until recently. I got a lunch special beef with pepper with appetizer choice boneless ribs. Im so glad that they have a non-deep fried appetizer choice with the specials. That is rare. The beef with pepper was delicious. The boneless ribs were fresh and not overcooked like other places. My only issue is the pricepoint on lunch is high at $17 and the portion of beef was small for the price. Id return for sure for dinner size entrees. read more

$3.75 for a glass of soda! Is that the going rate? Seems outrageously high!! Was not impressed with the food either. read more

Great chinese food, very fresh and they have plenty of options. The buffet is really good. Service has been off the few times I have gone there though. read more

Amateurish is the best way to describe the food on a recent Saturday buffet. The hot & sour soup was neither hot nor sour. Worse, the mushrooms were from a can and the broth was weak. The array of buffet offerings had some decent dishes, however, the only green thing besides the salted edamame was broccoli that was brilliant color but mostly raw mixed with a beef/sauce combination. The egg rolls were great, so were the crab rangoon. The wings over-fried but the Peking ravioli were very good (note the 3 good things were likely not house-made). With wings, paper napkins just don't get it but that's what they use. The waitstaff had to be flagged a few times, i.e., inattentive and disconnected. Refills on the soda water were charged separately: Seriously, who the f does that anymore? I hear tell that the evening buffet is much better, but with me, you get one chance to screw me over so I'll not be returning under any circumstances and instead make our way to the other side of Bedford for some seriously delicious Chinese food and attentive service. read more

This is a good, local restaurant. Typical fare, good taste, and reasonably quick takeout.

The New Year's Eve buffet was not very good. Most of the items were dry, hard to cut and chew and sitting out way too long. My family will not be returning. read more

Take out. PuPu platter, Gen Gaos, Lo mein. Absolutely flavor free. Gen gaos in particular have the most bland flavor. There are better choices read more

We were a party of 8 and all had the dinner buffet. All the food at the buffet was delicious. Drink menu was slim. Our server seemed to be annoyed with us from the moment we sat down. Our party made comments to each other that he didn't like us. Our water was never refilled, and he took dishes when we weren't done with them. It wasn't that it was busy at all, so don't know what the problem was. read more

understaffed that nite{long wait to be served} food: pork fied rice was not fluffy{leads me to believe day+ old} same with egg foo yung{patties flat} chicken wings overcooked{buffet} but managed 4-5 good ones chicken fingers were good. egg rolls the first go-round not so good better the 2nd go-round. crab rangoons were dry, not as in the past . peppercorn shrimp was good.hopeful this establishment has more CONSISTENCY. for we go there often read more

Food is always great and service is quick! I have ordered here a few times and our order has never been wrong. The crab rangoon are amazing! I will place my order at home on Yelp and head up after (takes me about 15 min to get there) and my food is either ready or there is a very short wait. read more

This is bar far the best when it comes to quality and freshness with thier buffet. Options are only an aisle, but I prefer quality over quantity. It is about 30$ a person with fountain drink, but I understand why. Also, ask for their ginger ice cream! read more

Ordered for delivery. Chicken with cashews: monochromatic, literally just brown with 4 whole cashews. BBQ ribs(bone in): overcooked and dry. Will not order again but might try in-house dining to give them a second chance read more

On Friday 13 June 25, we were excited to celebrate my husband's graduation and have dinner at the Great Wall. We were seated to the left of the entrance all the way back in the corner. Our waiter was dry and unwelcoming. Asked couple of questions about the menu and his answers were short and cold. We ordered 2 dishes from menu and 2 buffet. I ordered chow mein with chicken and what I got was tasteless and unappetizing strips of mystery meat, bamboo sprouts and onions. My friend ordered a veggie dish that looked like it had come directly from a frozen veggie bag. My husband shared with me a half of his egg roll and egg drop soup. The egg roll was rancid and over fried and soup had an unpleasant flavor. Panda Express has a fresher and more flavorful menu at far less price. Do not bring your family to this establishment. read more

A quality, family owned Chinese buffet that has all the basics you could ask for. Things I like about it ... The quality is much much higher The service is much better Plenty of options Old school feel with cloth napkins Things I'm "meh" about... The suburban stereotypes who all carry their plates in front of their chests like they are serving their savior. The kind who "accidentally" take an extra noodle and spend the next 5 minutes try to scrape it off their plates while giggling, then picking up the same damn noodle again, rinse abd repeat. They do this with everything. I wish the soup and ice cream was self serve, but it's really not a problem. Also, wish they had larger water glasses. It's a great place and definitely recommended. read more

I've never had a bad time here, first time back in over 2 years. Heard the buffet is back, wanted to check it out, it was just like I remembered. Covid changes businesses, but it was kind of surprised they sat everyone in the same area instead of spaced out throughout the restaurant. I did like the hand sanitizer at the buffet. Glad to see a few changes in the selections in the buffet as well. Only things I'd change are the plates that are showing signs of age with black marks on them and rotate the plates. Also, I grabbed a very hot plate on top of the pile, wasn't expecting that. Mixed drinks always great !! read more

I went here a few months ago. I'd been here a while back and If I wasn't having low blood sugar, I would have gone somewhere else. The food is virtually tasteless and beyond bland. They aren't shy about charging a lot for their buffet and honestly I will never go back to this mediocre place. read more

The food is mediocre, the place is overpriced, and the service is terrible. Unprofessional wait-staff, stared behaved rudely, and talked trash the entire time (fun) didn't even bring us water, and ultimately spoiled a buffet experience - which should be impossible to do! Avoid at all costs. read more

Buffet was a reasonable price They kept all the dishes full Chicken wings crispy Plenty pork strips and chicken skewers All the standard fair Eggs roll didn't look like manufactured elsewhere If they were they were great tasting beyond store bought Only caveat was service Had to wait 25 minutes for ice cream after given the check read more

Hadn't gone here since January 2020 before the pandemic. We had the buffet & it was absolutely great! Very fresh with good variety. The staff was very friendly and professional. Recommend 100% read more

I just got some basic stuff for dinner price over 100$ its the worst food I've ever had, including New Years Eve's mishaps that are awful. I feel bad feeding this to my family, I feel like trashing it that's how bad it is,Never again awful, very nasty read more

Post-pandemic, this was the buffet that I was craving the most. Even though it's just two salad bar stations, they keep it full- it seems like someone's bringing a fresh tray of something from the kitchen every few minutes. Notables from the buffet- the Sichuan pepper fish is always there and crispy/soggy delicious. Buddha's delight is also a staple, and although I try not to overdo it on the fried foods, there's no shortage of chicken fingers, scallion pancake, crab rangoon, etc. They also have plated desserts with the buffet on the back wall and three sauces on the end of the buffet... ginger soy, mustard and duck sauce. The hot & sour soup that comes with the buffet is also quality, with a little more pepper spice than other buffet places dare. All in all, it's a great lunch option since you don't have to wait to order and you can try a bit of everything. I probably end up here at least once every other week. It's never crazy crowded since they have lots of seating, although the servers are often a bit taxed. Buffet comes in about $15 a head, and don't forget to take care of your server. read more

This is our go-to take out place. The food is always good. We've cycled through most of our surrounding Chinese restaurants and always come back to Great Wall. read more

One of the best Chinese buffet I have been in a long time! It helps that the food bar is not crowded, a few selections of the most common staples, but they are cooked to perfection! Crab rangoons, freshly made egg rolls, the fried rice, kung pao... everything is replenished as needed. Prices are also very reasonable; the atmosphere of the restaurant is very pleasant, calmed, and somewhat formal without it being too formal. Over all, a great choice for a calmed family outing, or a business lunch (we've seen them take place)... Definitely going back again, as it has become our "to go" spot since we moved to Massachussets. read more

Small options a little pricey , but very clean. Tasty and good quality buffet. Servers tend to ignore you have to ask for a refill and they charge extra for refills. You have to ask for soup it's free with buffet but the server has to get it from the kitchen. It's not at the buffet read more

Ordered my take-out order 10 days before Christmas Eve, on Christmas Eve after waiting in a massive line, we got the order home and it was missing 5 items and I was charged for them. I called to get those refunded and they told me I have a credit back at the restaurant under my name. I don't think that is correct? They didn't offer the refund back on my card NOR a comp for the inconvenience. Why would they think we want to go back? Don't recommend-this is not a very friendly way to treat customers. read more

Decent Chinese food. Not the best, but pretty good. Buffet is a good value for the money.

I had lunch here recently with some co-workers. It was a Friday and was surprisingly not very busy. The buffet is not gigantic as some others I've been to, but the food was overall quite good. I would've liked a few more choices, but again all the choices available were of better than average quality. The place is very clean which is nice at the end of a pandemic. The staff were very attentive in refilling our drinks and taking away plates. I don't do a lot of buffets these days, but with a larger group it is easy and relatively cheap. read more
