I am sad. #iwantedmoreatthebluefuji. The images draw you in like a siren from the Odyssey. But after that .... emptiness consumes you. My co-worker Ryan doesnt share these sentiments. The sushi was fresh and edible. But the roll's were lacking in zest, and suculance. Only warm saki and no cold saki confused me. How can you not have cold saki? The music was soothing and the lighting appropriate. Service was lacking. Waiter seemed aloof and lacking in attentiveness. I hope to not dampen someone else's experience but I would consider this place my 5th choice when selecting sushi. Oh the noodles my co-worker had were excellent. read more

This use to be the only place I would order Chinese from. Prior to Covid we never had a bad dish, but the quality of the food has plummeted. My most recent experience was a Saturday night for takeout, that was surprisingly slow. But we still managed to wait nearly 45 minutes for our order. Upon arriving home, I bit into egg shells in my pork fried rice and then noticed several large shells were mixed in. Needless to say, we immediately lost our appetite and tossed everything in the trash. My wife decided to call an hour later for a refund and encountered a rude hostess who asked us to take photos of the egg shells. I wasn't about to dig them out of the trash. Salmon nigiri was mediocre to say the least, uneven slices not trimmed as they should in quality Sushi place! Then came the maki rolls, the hamashi with scallions was in strangely transparent rolls instead of nori (seaweed paper) never seen anything like it and there was no scallions! Spicy tuna roll was not great neither: too crusty!!! Overall I think this place go a way to go to even come close to a decent sushi place. read more

The food and ambiance were great here. The interior is cozy, romantic and dimly lit. There are candles at each table and a cool blue water feature at the entrance. It would be perfect for a date, though I came here with my brother haha. I got tea, hot and sour soup, crab rangoons and the Celtics roll. The tea was barely lukewarm when it was brought to my table. That's okay- a simple error that can be easily fixed. They brought me another one that was hot. However, my soup was only a little bit warm which was disappointing since it was a cool rainy day and I wanted something piping hot to warm me up. They definitely made up for it though, bc the crab rangoons were the best I have ever had. They were light and crunchy and paired perfectly with the sweet and sour sauce they came with. The 4 stars is for the food - We just ordered a Pu Pu platter and pork fried rice. My issue is with the drinks - $2.50 for a soda in a 16oz glass with ice and there are no free refills - so when I ordered my 2nd soda I was NOT told there were no free refills - again 16oz glass w/ice (plenty of ice) and charged another $2.50 and when we wanted one more we were finally told "no free refills - $2.50 for each soda." Who does that b/c there was no way we were getting 16oz of soda for $2.50 plus the ice - with that said I will drink water from now on, if I decided to go back. I don't like an establishment that nickels and dimes you - service was and always is mediocre at best - hence the 15% tip. read more

We went for lunch recently. The sushi was good but not amazing. I was disappointed to hear that the bento box apparently doesn't come with much besides the entree. The miso soup was okay. My chinese lunch special came with a generous serving of lo-mein for $1 extra, but my lunch was nothing to write home about. Overall I like the decor, except a lot of the art looks generic to me. Our waitress was brusque and a bit clumsy. Blue Fuji seems a bit expensive; for instance, the tempura appetizer is $10, $2.50 more than the place up the street. Green tea is $1.25 per person. The lack of a mint or candy with the check added to our feeling of gouginess. OTOH I don't know about you, but I don't mind not getting a (no-longer-a) fortune-cookie. I'm sure we'll try it again, but maybe not for lunch. read more

We've been in search of a good Chinese place for a while now. We've lived in Billerica for 5 yrs and find that the Chinese food in town is not good at all! Even with all the places around to choose from nothing has appealed to us. We were very pleased after we ate our take out from Blue Fuji tonight. Everything was super fresh, and very tastey!! Some of the food was okay but I wouldn't say it was good. In fact one of the dishes had a very strange chemical taste and we decided not to eat it. The service was not great and our obviously unhappy waitress was not welcoming. One of the people in our group said they didn't like one of the dishes and the waitress offered to take it off the bill. That was a good thing, however she was put out with any additional requests and unapologetic and flat with the few other polite complaints we had. So overall I'd have to say this was a mediocre to poor experience and we won't be returning. read more

I live right down the street from Blue Fuji formally in the same location was a restaurant called Asiana! I have now ordered from Blue Fuji on three different occasions. The food there apparently organic???? Was totally uneventful and very disappointing, The staff was very impersonal in the restaurant just doesn't feel like it belongs in a town like Bedford where small-town values abide.I know everyone in this town and have two teenage daughters and no one is inspired by Blue Fuji in the least. We order from them every week. Sometimes we place large $400 sushi orders for company. Many times they get the order wrong and we get that. Tonight was the last straw. They got order wrong again and instead of crediting off what they delivered incorrectly or offering to bring the right thing (remember we are regular delivery patrons) they offered a credit next time we order! Why not tonight? Why not fix the order? The manager wasn't interested in keeping very loyal customers. He said the best we can do is give you a credit next time. Not good enough. We went there for dinner on a Thursday night after work.The place was a little quite for a (may be because the place hasn't been open that long), but the bar was a little busy. So, we sat at one of the booths by the window. The decor and ambiance looked very modern and inviting. We decided to order some of their Signature maki and Mangolian Beef with some rice and their Signature Mai Tai to wash it all down. I was pleasantly surprised how good everything was. I placed an online order 12/12/17 at 12:15 and was told it would be delivered by 1PM. I received an email confirmation at 12:20 stating my order was placed and would be delivered in 45 minutes. I called at 1:25Pm to find out where my order is and was put on hold for 5 minutes. I hung up and called back only to find out the order was never placed. No apology, no offer to take the order over the phone and rush it over. Nothing. I will never order from Blue Fuji again. Poor customer service. read more

Because that couple just met their friends on the other table when they walk in and say hi to them. We placed our order through GrubHub by searching for restaurants that deliver on Hanscom AFB. As it turns out, they do not deliver on base and I had to meet them outside the gate. Although that defeated the entire purpose of wanting delivery, I could've called and asked... except the phone number provided here and on google (ends in 0707) doesn't work. After meeting the delivery guy he of course didn't have the means to collect payment via cc as advertised so I had to have him call whatever the correct phone number to the restaurant is. By the time I got home the food was warm but not hot as it was hovering around 0 degrees (the reason we wanted delivery was to avoid said cold). To finish off the experience the order was wrong. My wife ordered chicken and broccoli, and they gave us chicken and mushrooms. She HATES mushrooms. Out of the food we ate the kids appetizer was good, but the egg roll (bad flavor) and pad Thai (no flavor) were both disappointing. read more

Found a coupon so I got my first take-out today. Pork fried rice - yummy. Crab Rangoon - stuffed and not runny but not very crabby. Wonton soup - bland broth with bad dough around worse meat wontons. Chicken fingers - good. Peking ravioli - I got it steamed and while it's warm, it's also RAW. RAW dough surrounding RAW meat. I'll have to actually cook them myself tomorrow to see what they're supposed to taste like. Since Yangtze in Lexington closed I'll get my Pork Fried Rice from Blue Fuji but for everything else Bamboo rules. read more

We just moved to the area from NY and were worried about our Asian food fix. We've tried about bunch of Chinese/Japanese restaurants within 10-12 mile radius, but there was always something quite not right. Then we happened to find this place while shopping at nearby Tjmax. We instantly fell in love. This place has it all. Great fusion food, best of Japanese and Chinese cuisine. Nice selection of drinks and cocktails. Very friendly staff and great service (Asian restaurants don't always have the greatest of services but this one is an exception). We'll definitely be going here often. read more

After getting delivery from Blue Fuji over the past few years, we won't be ordering from them again. They are constantly late and forgetting items. Once we ordered in advance and they never made our food. When we called they kept saying it was on the way, but when the delivery guy showed up over an hour past the schedule time he said they just gave him out order ten minutes before. Tonight we ordered through Grub Hub and it arrived 35 minutes after the time listed on the app. They did refund our money but it's not worth the aggravation.
