The food was really good but the service was over the top. I didn't need the server coming over 5 times to ask if we were ready to order. It was aggressive and took away from the chatting at the table. We had wonton soup which was ok. The wontons were very dry. We had the Thai lettuce wraps which were very good. Beef skewers were also not bad along with two orders of spring rolls. Those were tasteless and not very good. For dinner we had a salmon hibachi and a shrimp hibachi. Both were very good. I went during the Mother's Day buffet special and it was a little more than the regular price (~$40). The staff were really nice but it's a bummer that you can't make a reservation for a group of less than 5. We came ~20 mins earlier and there were already 3 groups ahead of us. We managed to get seated by 11:35am so that wasn't too bad. So, if you come around noon, you'd probably have to wait for a while because the crowd was huge. The buffet area was pretty small for the number of seats. I think it was okay food and you'll have to wait in a long line. By the time I got to the station, the nigiri, fish fillet and lobsters were already gone, which was pretty sad. I don't think the snow crabs were that good. Dishes that I thought were worth eating were sesame ball, lobster, fish fillet, squid and green tea ice cream. Went for the weekend buffet. It was smaller than I thought and the quality was average to above average. They were really slow (probably on purpose) with the nigiri so we were only able to eat two pieces before a kid came over and took it all. The tray was not replaced before we left. Cooked food was decent, the dim sum items were solid. Desserts were severely lacking as there was just one type of cake and two flavors of ice cream (and someone grossly left the scoop inside the ice cream bin). Amazing service, great food, and a chill, clean, and elegant ambiance. I greatly enjoyed my dinner at Feng Shui and will likely be back. Absolutely amazing stuff, I enjoyed every bite and ate the entire meal in one sitting. Every bite was packed with flavor, great portions, and I felt really clean and energized after eating there - even considering the enormous portion size I put down by myself. The poke bowl also came with a salad and miso soup. The salad was a little too heavy on the dressing, but nonetheless very tasty. Miso soup was bomb as always. Sushi and poke bowls were some of the best I've had in the area. The only complaint I have, is that the salmon looked to have been farm raised. Meaning that it was colored due to the dye given in the fish feed, which is unfortunately because the pricing of the food is very high. I'd like to see wild-caught fish considering this restaurant is near the coast and as expensive as it is. The service was exceptional. Everyone was extremely friendly, but it's worth noting that many of the staff members spoke little to no English. This was fine to me, however, because that means the food is authentic cuisine from my experience with ethnic restaurants. The waitress was fast, answered all my questions, and very polite. Also got some free raw salmon for free at the sushi bar. Much appreciated The ambiance was clean, inviting, and upscale. I felt very comfortable in there and enjoyed the overall atmosphere a lot. The dress code was casual-business casual. Overall, I'd strongly recommend this restaurant. Visited this location for Sunday lunch buffet. Firstly, we understood the presence of certain buffet selections that reflected Asian clientele tastes, which is certainly not an issue but worth mentioning. The service was OK - the server forgot to bring my hot & sour soup as part of the Sunday buffet. I finally got it and it was OK but not great once I fished through an inordinate amount of sliced tofu (not the silken style) without a shiitake in sight. It's nice to have "shrimp cocktail," but too much work to have to peel them before eating, including cleaning the intestinal tract running down the back of them after removing the shells. Epic fail. Crispy duck was nothing more than chopped up roasted duck carcasses that had been butchered for leg and breast meat (likely available on the menu for other dishes) with hardly any meat on the bones. Likewise, snow crab legs in their shells also demanded us to work on messy meat extraction without the proper picks available. More epic failures. The rest of the fare was OK, but, for us, too many deficits make it unworthy of a return trip to this location. The ambiance was OK but is starting to look shopworn. Nice room, but the dining tables were covered with water ring stains on the natural wood tabletops. Time for resurfacing and better protection from liquids because no matter how clean the surface may be, it looks dirty and unkempt. A shame, too, because the tabletops have the potential to look great. Parking is in the back, but there's no adequate signage to direct you from the parking lot to the front door, causing both of us who arrived separately to walk around the entire building to find a door that opened. With the recent closure of Bamboo in Bedford, Feng Shui has an opportunity to attract its many loyal customers. Just not us. read more

We went to their Burlington location on a Saturday for their weekend buffet. It was $26.95 per person (adults), ages 5-10 are $14.95. Under 5 is free. The building is very modern looking inside out, and is very clean and comfortable. There is ample parking (free) next to the building. There are traditional tables, seats at the bar, and elevated seating tables. They open at 11:30am on Saturdays and we arrived 15 minutes prior and there was already a line! 90% of the people in line are asian, so this place must be good! There is one small room where they keep all of their buffet offerings. There is a large center island housing all of their hot foods, including steamed options like shumais and other dumpling/dimsum varieties and things like fried rice. Towards the right wall is their desert offerings, featuring some fruit and even chicken feet. On the left wall is their sushi stuff. All are included in the buffet. Your price of admission includes a soup, for which the waiter will ask if you want hot and sour, wonton or miso soup. The soup was mid. Service is really good. The staff are friendly and come around to pick up dirty plates as needed. I saw some helping tables take pictures. When its time to pay, they bring the credit card machine to you and our waitress looked away when it was time for me to select the tip. The sushi was okay and respectable. I don't eat it, but the family ate it and said it was ok. I skipped the fruit. The hot bar is where its at. There is really good options there when I went. The coconut shrimp was by far the best! Its exactly like walnut shrimp from chinese restaurants. There was general or orange chicken which was decent. Others include stir fried string beans, Beef and veggies, crab, salt and pepper frog legs, mussels, pan fried raviolis, sesame balls, spring rolls, cocktail shrimp, edamame, grapes, oranges, mini cakes and more. The food was fresh (obviously since we just got there) and the staff did their best to replenish their food. There is a CONSTANT line, due to the small buffet room but very large dining room. Lots of people came out with 2 plates of food per person as the wait is very long and the food looks so delicious. Most of the food was pretty good and I would say is better than most other asian buffets I've had. I would recommend Feng Shui for GOOD asian buffet food. I would put it in a similar tier as Minado (costs more, but way more food offerings) and Spring Shabu (cost less, hot pot buffet). Pricing for the offerings here at Feng Shui was very reasonable. It would be great if they had a larger buffet room or separated out their offers into different parts of the restaurant. The line gets intimidating fast. Went for the Mother's Day ~45/person special with crab and lobster and steak. The steak was a stir fried beef dish that was pretty average. There was a long line to get a table and also a long line to the buffet area. Once we got to the buffet area to get food, all the sashimi was gone (if there was any; not even sure). I think it was mostly nigiri but the fish nigiri was also gone quickly. They had rolls and "veg sushi" still. They didn't go a good job of replenishing the sushi knowing how crowded the place was. Great restaurant for large and small parties with their spacious setting and reasonably priced foods all day. I'm generally not a fan of mixed Asian cuisines but their "juicy pork dumplings" is the best 小籠包 I've been able to find in the [Greater] Boston area--more than Taipei Cuisine in Quincy, Taiwanese Cafe in Boston, and even the legacy Gourmet Dumpling House in Chinatown. The skin is thicker than my preference but they have the flavor and soup down! Their menu caters to a diverse crowd of all ages, cultural backgrounds, and time. I appreciate that we could order a simple soup for toddlers and spicy fish filet for adults. The pickled mustard greens with crab fried rice is really good. Glad that these Chinese style dishes surpassed my expectations for dinner. Friends recommended this place, saying that this was a great place for Dim Sum on the weekends. The place opens at 11:30am and because we started our day early, we ended up coming here 30 min early. However, there was a line waiting to get in. If you plan to come for weekend Dim Sum, be prepared to wait to get in, as it is very popular. Once opened, the staff are very quick to get everyone seated and begin the dinning experience. BTW this is a Buffet Style Dim Sum. The selection is pretty good and fairly authentic to a traditional Chinese Dim Sum meal. In addition to Dim Sum, Sushi is also included, along with a good spread of cakes and ice cream. Being that it is newly open, it is very nice and clean and has that, "New Car" Feel. The staff are very attentive and continuously clean up the plate and refill your drinks. My one complaint is that because it is so popular, and the Buffet area is so small, food runs out quickly and so you end up waiting a bit to get something you want. It's a great place to come to experience Chinese Dim Sum without having to go into ChinaTown, and is right next to the Burlington Mall if you plan to do some shopping and best of all, no problem finding parking. read more

Honestly, I was expecting a very high price but it was very reasonably priced. The location is sophisticated and quiet. The decor is zen and well appointed. First impressions were great. We ordered lunch specials and we weren't sure what to expect. We ordered two appetizers to try. The seafood "Treasure Island" was absolutely superior, well Beyond what I expected! We also ordered Gyoza was that obviously handmade and delicate. I ordered Pad Thai with shrimp that was so beautifully put together and filling, I had leftovers. My husband ordered sushi. He said it was very good. We eat a lot of sushi so that is quite a compliment. Our waiter was efficient and helped explain each choice for us. He was very nice and made our experience calm. Having gone once before for my dad's birthday (and got a SUSHI BOAT !!) we thought about getting it again. Even used the photos as a reference to order. But eventually we "abandoned ship" with that idea . We then each got our own item and I got the fluffy and crispy INDIAN PANCAKES. They were paired with the most delicious spicy coconut sauce! The server went to take away the sauce when it was 95% done and I stopped him hahaha also, the LEMONADE slaps surprisingly hard! Service was sparse but friendly and respectful. Dined at Feng Shui in Burlington last night. The food and service were excellent. For apps we ordered the crab rangoons, sweet garlic wings and pork dumplings. All were delicious, especially the crab rangoons, which were the best we ever had. They were cooked perfectly and full of crab and cream cheese. The food was promptly brought to the table so it was very hot. Great waitstaff as well...all very friendly. For dishes we ordered Feng Shui Fried Rice which was chock full of shrimp, scallops, chicken and vegetables. I could have made a meal from that alone. We also ordered the Jumbo Shrimp w/ Mixed Vegetables and Chicken and Broccoli. Again, dishes were served hot and the vegetables were crisp and not mushy like you get in other restaurants. We are visiting from Los Angeles, California and after reading reviews we were skeptical to come. However, we came and were completed surprised. This is a beautiful and upscale establishment and they had the best dumplings we have ever had. Also very delicious and fresh sushi. Our group ordered from the menu instead of the buffet, so naturally our bill was a lot more; however no courtesy citrus at the end of the meal - why? Because it's only included with the buffet. How does that make sense? After providing zero for the tip given this yelp tip - let me add how rude the waitress was to come to the table and ANNOUNCE since zero tip then the table needs to pay 18% additional. Really? If 18% was due then why was it not in the bill? Shame me you will not - shame on you manager and here's the Tip-consider valuing all patrons and provide a small plate of fresh citrus when the bill is presented as that aids the digestive process, thank you. read more

Went for the weekend lunch buffet. Around $27 per person which is pretty okay for their selection. I really liked the frog legs, spicy fish fillet, and coconut shrimp. Sushi was a bit underwhelming but I liked the sweet potato rolls. The dim sum selection and dumplings were definitely from a store-bought frozen package. It wasn't offensive, I just expected better. Other than that, everything was pretty alright. Staff were extremely nice and the actual place was huge with a bustling atmosphere. We stopped in for lunch after a round of golf and had a delicious light meal in a nice clean atmosphere with a friendly waitstaff. We started with the dumpling/gyoza sampler, but we attacked it before I could get any photos, haha! They came out hot, and were very good. Hubby said they all tasted pretty similar though. I only had one so I couldn't compare! We also ordered steamed dumplings and edamame which were delicious! The dumplings reminded us of the ones we had in Taiwan, but with a thicker dough. The edamame came at the END of our meal because the waitress incidentally canceled our order by accident. The Lo Mein was very fresh. There was so much shrimp and chicken and the veggies were crispy. The curry shrimp/chicken I was told was super yummy. Not as spicy as my mom had hoped, but still one of her favorites. I do recommend this restaurant if you're looking for a higher end fusion meal. I'm on another business trip back to the Boston area and I'm with the bosses and this is one of their go-to Asian spots. We visited on a Monday night and the crowd was light but not zero. The restaurant is cozy and has a good ambiance for quiet conversation. My coworkers ordered some dumplings and shared the dish--plenty of food for two. I had a sushi roll combo that was "spicy" but pretty mild to my taste. All together, no problems. Altogether, nothing awesome. I was hesitant to try Feng Shui Burlington after having a pretty terrible takeout experience from their Waltham location. This was much better. Feng Shui Burlington has a nice contemporary and elegant vibe and decor. Its a more elevated chinese food experience compared to the typical american chinese restaurant. The prices are more elevated too. The general gau is okay - not my favorite execution but still decent. The breading on the chicken is more like a chicken finger. The feng shui chicken is good. The duck bao and gyozas were good. The beef skewers were quality cuts of beef cooked tender however the marinade was lacking a flavor punch. The service was great and the drinks are good. so disappointing. Probably not the worst Chinese food I've had but definitely the worst for the price. Got the Mongolian beef, the braised pork belly and the crispy chicken. The Mongolian beef was not bad but basically broccoli beef for $19. The braised pork belly was again alright but for $21? That thing had around 10 pieces of pork belly. The the crispy chicken was probably one of the most disgusting things I've ever had. Definitely not asian style and to say it was chicken was a stretch. They use some weird breading that tasted more like what you would find for fish n chips instead of traditional Asian techniques. Then they add in crispy onions strings similar to what you'd see in a burger. But the worst part is, the balls were MAYBE 5% chicken and 20% breading and 75% air. I swear I bit into one that had nothing but breading and air. If you're in that area looking for some Chinese food, suggest going to Sichuan Gourmet down the street. While they aren't perfect, you won't leave feeling angry. read more

They had some dim sum offerings - fried sesame balls, sticky rice with sausage and chicken wrapped in a leaf, japanese style shui mai. They had the classic americanized chinese food- crab rangoon, chicken wings, orange chicken My absolute surprise was the hot soybean milk. So good ! They had some fully cooked sushi , nothing special and some cold vegetarian fare ( a bit too sweet, like why ?). Service was attentive. They cleared the dishes as we ate and gave us the check when they thought we were done eating. Overall not bad. I'd return a second time. read more
