I'm really disappointed. I was at the Farmers Market and bought a scone with currants and raspberries. It was really brown but I thought maybe it was made with some sort of healthy wheat or something. I bit into it and realized it was over baked. Like way over baked. Dried out over baked. I'd love to give a good review but just can't.

    Sourdough Bread

This place is so amazing it deserves ANOTHER 5 star review from me The Sourdough French and Sourdough rye are absolutely phenomenal. And if you like to bake your own bread, I highly recommend purchasing their flour that they mill right their at the bakery! No chemicals or preservatives, and it makes THE BEST loaves I've ever tasted :) Joel is amazing as always and so is the rest of the staff

Stopped by for some sourdough and also got some walnut apricot sourdough, oh and an eggnog scone. 'This the season! Yum! Excellent bread and scone. Love this place.

I come here OFTEN and drive 35min to do so! I get the walnut, apricot, and date sourdough boule every time I go, its so good as avocado toast or with a fried egg on top or as a cucumber sandwich, their giant super soft loaf of white bread is equally good. Many of their from scratch deli salads are good as well, as is their special tea or coffee of the day, slice of pizza (GF), veggie or with meat. The prices are very fair for the excellent baked products. You should stop in for lunch or breakfast they will make it to order or you can grab an already made delicious meat or other salad sandwich or salad from the cooler, don't forget your potato salad or side of pickled beets and a brownie or seasonal fruit frilled piece of goodness or specialty cookie!! Oh and the service is always very friendly! 5/5 stars every time! Ive been coming here for 6 years now. :)

Blueberry scone and pumpkin bread complimented our caramel latte mid morning break. Definitely worth the stop.

Stopped here in the late afternoon to try a few treats. I'm a huge blueberry Danish fan and there…read morewas one left so I got it along with a chocolate macaroon. The danish was serviceable but wasn't anything special. Could be because it was later in the day so it wasn't as fresh as ones bought in the morning. The chocolate macaroon was ok, it was soft and flavorful with a thick slab of chocolate on top but similar to the danish in that it was fine, but wasn't the kind of pastry that blew me away or made me feel like I just had to buy it again. I left feeling mostly indifferent. If I come back I'd probably come early in the morning and try something else, or maybe the danish again and see if there's any difference.

Can I just say this place is amazing? What a gem I found in Olympia on our way to Portland. I'm…read moregoing to make this place a regular stop now. I got a little bit scared when reading all the negative reviews about staff not being friendly and having an attitude. I was bracing myself but we had a wonderful gal serve us and the lines were so long and they were extremely busy that she forgot what iced tea we ordered so she gave us both! A chai iced tea and regular. It was so sweet. Also she forgot our croissant but then later comped us the croissant too! The service was amazing so I don't know who the other reviewers are talking about. Also the food was amazing. We requested the peppercini on the side and they totally accommodated and hooked us up. Our bagel sandwiches looked delish and packed with goodies and the pickle complements well with the bagel sandwiches. I also ordered the lemon meringue tart which was delicious. The salmon lox was also really good but we didn't care for the capers because it made it really sour. I would get it without the capers next time. Overall this place is wonderful and I would definitely come again to try their homemade bread/sandwiches next time! The lines are long for a reason.... It's good stuff! But the lines go relatively quickly. Just make sure you know what you want when it's your turn. Parking is basically street parking. I gave it 4 stars because I think it's a bit pricey but I would pay again because it's worth it.
