I try to order fries no matter where I go just to see how they throw down in that fryer. These are hands down the best fries I've had in 2025.. maybe even for the last 5 years. I can not think of a better fry and now I'm sad that I will be going back to San Francisco seeking a fry that comes close. I also want to commend the exceptional service I received here at Avenue Axe. The bartender was so sweet and friendly for taking care of us that late into the night. I became furious and demanded to see management Frederico. I told him that out of all the years I've patronize with this establishment I have never been treated as such and neither have I ever witnessed waitstaff drinking while on duty. The food is delicious!! I had The Sheriff skillet and it was amazing. Very well seasoned shrimp, chicken and beef. The chicken was not dried out and cooked perfectly.
