I hired Tony (San Gabriel Contractors) for a bathroom remodel and am so glad I did. I got multiple bids and he wasn't the cheapest or the most expensive, but I really liked his foreman Cesar and Tony was super responsive on the phone. Also I asked him to bid an additional railing project and instead of doing so he directed me to an expert in that area (who I ended up hiring and was amazing) so I really appreciated that. Requested a quote for drywall repair, a 4-inch hole that needed patching. I got a quick reply with a quote of "$450 flat rate". I understand "flat rate" but did he read what I was looking for? I wrote back, asking if price was negotiable as it is only for a very small hole to be repaired. I probably should have added at its on a very small wall, a wall that's in place of a railing, that is 2 by 3 feet, so if protocol is to repaint the entire wall, it would be a whopping 6 square feet to paint. Except I got no response. I'm getting it done as we speak for $200.00 from a more responsive and reasonable business. Guess some jobs are too small for this one. With only one Yelp-approved review so far, ignoring potential customers isn't really the best way to go about building a good reputation. read more

From fixing roof tops to reconstructing concrete floor the B.L.B. team are hands down the best in the business.

They did the worse job ever. The boss actually subcontracted the work and left holes where baseboards were removed. Paint drips everywhere. Cleaned the paint in the front yard and left paint all over our bring planter. And cleaned brushes in our bathroom sink. Obviously dropped something heavy in our bathroom sink and cracked it. Painted our wood ceiling instead of staining it! The worst experience ever!!! read more

Main room painted they used flat instead of semi. Huge mistake. Never returned with new brackets to hang blinds. Left all the brushes and buckets in my yard. There is so much I could say about the lack of honesty and professionalism. Make sure to review the estimate completely and not go by his word as to what is going to be done as you will be strongly disappointed. The work that was done was not horrible but had to have someone else fix the work that should have been right the first time. The owner made excuses instead of fixing problems ruined some of the home owners property.
