They always have a flavor I enjoy. Their cookie dough really does taste like that. The peanut butter porter was my favorite.

I had my baby shower here and I cannot express how fantastic it went! Diane is so great to work with, she is so helpful, laid back, reliable and kind! I highly recommend hosting any event here as it was a huge hit!

Blue Monkey opened in 2019 and is tucked in next to the Drug Mart at Wallings and State roads. There's a very small patio out front by the entrance - maybe 5 tables or so. Inside has some booths and maybe 15 seats at the bar. There are rotating taps (check their website for the latest) and they also have wine from Michael Angelos winery. There's no food, but you can order your own, and tonight there was a food truck. I tried the salted caramel blond stout which was okay - it didn't really taste like salted caramel to me. My husband had the American Lager which he said was just okay. There's plenty of parking and free wifi. The bartenders were friendly.

Awesome awesome awesome!! We went for a soft open and couldn't have been happier! The brewer and the owners were there, everyone was very talkative and passionate about what they were doing! They only had 4 beers on tap but will 3 additional beers for the grand opening in a couple of weeks! We will definitely be back as this is close to our home. They don't have food but will be having food trucks in the summer months. Super excited about this place opening up near us!

I am so excited for this place to fully open soon! They are a rare suburban brewery next to Drug Mart in North Royalton. Major thanks to branching to the suburbs where new breweries are actually needed! We will be regulars here - we live nearby! We sampled all of their beers and they are SO great. This is sometimes tough for new breweries to knock their beers out of the park right away but they have 100% accomplished extra flavorful beers. You definitely should get a flight to taste all that Blue Monkey has to offer! They don't offer food in house but you can use a meal delivery service to bring food here instead! Do yourself a favor and stop here at least once to give this amazing place a try!

Fun ambience and some good beers. Not a ton being brewed but fun selection and good variety. I particularly liked the barrel aged peanut butter stout

Truly surprising quality of beer & warm inviting atmosphere. The owners/bartenders are incredibly friendly and always make sure you get exactly what you want, giving samples, letting you try some beers that are coming soon, and just spending time talking to you. I've been all over the country to some of the best breweries in Denver, Seattle, and California, and Blue Monkey Brewing is one my local favorites when I'm back home in Ohio visiting. & they are dog friendly!

Winner, winner, brewing dinner. Blue Monkey is a hidden gem. If you're into cool vibes, AMAZING brews, and great music look no further. The brewery is in a prime location in North Royalton with cute decor. The owners and staff are very nice and accommodating. If you're in the area stop by! You won't be disappointed!

If it weren't for following some of my friends to this brewery, I would have had a hard time finding it. This brewery is tucked back in on the side of a drug mart. The brewery has a decent size list of beers and seasonal beers to choose from. I ordered a flight so I was able to try a few different beers. During my visit, there was a browns game on and the brewery definitely had a sports bar feel to it. It was buzzing with people and I found the atmosphere very enjoyable.

Gather around Yelpers, this is a review of beer and boys, who will be the winner? Get to reading to find out! (Pretend like you don't know the answer already.) I heard about Blue Monkey Brewing Company from this tall ginger I met on Tinder. I really enjoy learning about new local breweries and sampling their goods so I was definitely down to make the trip and drink up. My interest was the same for The Boy, and he laid it on thick with his compliments, desire to help me with everything, and laughing at all of my hilarious banter (that's right, I said hilarious!), but I soon discovered the rumors about gingers are true, that soulless boy threw me a cold 180 and disappeared. You know what won't be disingenuous and lead you on and has better communication skills? The family owned BMBC. Everyone there is patient and friendly, they'll let you try some of their eight beer offerings before you buy and they even offer up some wine from Michael Angelo's Winery because unlike ignorant youth pursuing perfect clone partners, BMBC knows that variety is the spice of life and they are cool with you warming up to them if need be. They don't want to be just like everyone else. They want to put their own twist on craft beer for the world to delight in. They also want everyone who comes there to have a good time even if it's not with one of their beers. They have no problem supporting fellow local businesses. Speaking of this, while they don't offer food they do provide a couple of menus from places that will deliver grub to you while you partake in alcoholic beverages. Or you can bring in your own savory options (a cheese and meat board if you're feeling fancy or some Asian take-out would pair nicely.) BMBC is never going to say you're too ambitious for them because hello, they just made their dreams come true to open up a brewery in February! How can you not appreciate and enjoy seeing passion and drive become successful? I spoke with one of the owners and she said her nine year old son came up with the logo, how awesome is that?! Love the support and encouragement within the family. Not like The Boy who freaks when you tease him about going to a tea party. Smh. While BMBC does not look like a long haired Shaun White, they do have very appealing beers that will catch your fancy. I always find it best to go with a flight of different styles that way you can really get a feel for the brewery's offerings. Here a flight of four will cost you about $12. I sampled Salted Caramel, Chief Brewhoo, Vine Swinger, and Granola Oatmeal. All of them were tasty with no overwhelming or bitter flavor. I heard they have a Cookie Dough brew too, it just wasn't available when I was there so I'll have to stop back! (Take note that BMBC is connected to the left side of Drug Mart. The City won't let them put up a street sign so it's hard to find them. Also they are currently only open Fridays and Saturdays but will be adding Thursdays.) I highly recommend going for a hike at Mill Stream Run Reservation (about 12 minutes away) then gathering with some friends on the patio at BMBC and relaxing with a couple brews. Maybe even get a pizza delivered from Rosa's, their guy Pat happened to be at the brewery and we had a nice chat about scratch made sauces and Italian backgrounds. Or when you're done at BMBC you could hop on over to Kavana to share some plates - I got this recommendation from a group of friendly patrons and their dog Zeke. So in the end, don't bother dating anymore especially fickle boys younger than your badass self. Stay genuine. Skip the pretending and confusion boys give out and just enjoy a beer with friends. I hope BMBC joins the Cleveland Brewery Passport in the future and even if not, they are worth the drive out to suburban North Royalton! Life is so much better with a tasty refreshing drink in your hand than a lame boy by your side (or girl, whatever your preference!). Cheers!

I have to say this is the best place to go for a great brew. My husband and I went for a flight of beer and ended up getting two flights. There wasn't a beer we didn't like. Great place and great people. Give it a try if you get a chance.

    The bar

Great truck outside serving Cajun food, 9 beers on tap, 4-beer flights offered. Wine and soft drinks offered. Service and general ambiance pretty typical of a small craft beer operation. Generally a pretty good experience. Small patio outside with gas heaters available.

We started with the Frickles, crispy pickle chips served with honey mustard and sriracha 1000 island dressing. The sriracha 1000 island is so good that we always ask for an extra side to dip our fries and chips in. I ordered a house salad with the Bumbleberry Poppy Seed dressing, which was fresh and flavorful. My youngest son stuck with his usual favorite, the Smoked Brisket Poutine, which never disappoints. My husband ordered the June special, the 5-OH Burger. This massive burger features an 8-ounce patty topped with ghost pepper cheese, Hawaiian BBQ candied jalapeños, bacon, onion straws, a grilled pineapple ring, and a cream cheese jalapeño popper. The flavor combination was outstanding, and the spice had a delayed kick that sneaks up on you a few seconds after each bite. My oldest son went with the BBQ Burger, loaded with smoky BBQ sauce, cheddar cheese, house bacon, onion straws, pickles, and horsey sauce. Another excellent choice. To wash it all down, my husband enjoyed two beers: the Hazy Headhunter and Hop Thunder from Down Under, both of which he really liked. The food is consistently great, the portions are generous, and the atmosphere is always lively and welcoming. Today we sat outdoors on the large patio. After all these years, Fat Head's continues to be one of our family's favorite places to eat. Highly recommended!

When I was in the North Royalton area I stopped in at the Jolly's Pizza in a late afternoon. This location is at the intersection of Royalton and State Roads. The shop itself is relatively small; in the front is a service counter and the kitchen area, in the back is a little dining room and bar. The décor is pretty basic and the dining room is kind of dark. The menu is about what you expect from a Pizza place, pizza, salads, wings and apps. The pizza is available in 3 sizes and a bunch of specialty varieties. I ordered 2 pizzas to go; a Nostalgic sized Do-Gooder and a Sicilian Style Run Through the Garden. The pizzas were ready in about 10 minutes and looked and smelled great. I did grab a slice before the ride home and it was delicious. Both of the pizzas came on a thicker crust with crispy bottoms and sides and a nice pillowy inside, that made for a very filling meal. The toppings were fresh, flavorful and generous, these pizzas were similar to a Detroit style pizza. The Nostalgic is described as a 4 slice personal pizza, but it actually is about the size of good sized loaf of bread and one or two pieces were plenty for a meal. The Sicilian is a large 10 slice rectangle. The Do-Gooder is topped with white sauce, mushrooms, caramelized onions, ricotta, honey, basil, and scholar sauce; between the creamy ricotta, the honey and the scholar sauce this is a flavor bomb if a bit messy. The Run Through the Garden is a vegetable pizza with mushroom, caramelized onion, tomato, red pepper, banana pepper, olives, red sauce, and basil; very fresh and tasty about the only nit was that I would have liked more of the red sauce. The cheese on both pizzas were good, but a bit overwhelmed by the abundance of toppings. Jolly's Pizza delivers large and tasty pizzas, well worth a try if you want a thicker pizza with a lot of toppings.

The hostess greeted us warmly and kindly walked us to our table. Our server, Cam, was excellent--very polite, attentive, and a great communicator throughout the evening. We started with three appetizers: the baked brie with poached pear, bang bang shrimp, and the French onion soup. All three were delicious and well seasoned. The baked brie with poached pear was especially amazing, and the French onion soup had wonderful flavor. For drinks, we tried the basil lemonade mocktail and white chocolate martinis. The martinis were fantastic--rich, chocolatey, and delicious. The mocktail was refreshing but could have used a little more flavor. For our entrées, I ordered the seafood pasta and my husband ordered the beer-battered cod special. His fish was perfectly seasoned and the batter was crispy and delicious. My seafood pasta initially came out a little dry and needed more sauce. When we let Cam know, he immediately communicated with the kitchen and they brought out a freshly made sauce right away, which made the dish much more flavorful and delicious. The atmosphere was great and the entire staff seemed friendly and professional. Overall, we had a really nice date night and appreciated the attentive service. We'll definitely be back again soon!
