This is the production facility and tasting room of Schnitz Ale Brewery in Parma. The facility itself is a tad small, but has a great ambiance. They had both high top and lower tables as well as bar seating. We went on a Saturday evening and there was a band playing, so it was a full house. They had 13 beers on tap and a small food/snack menu. I had a flight and tried one of their hazy IPAs, the mimosa seltzer, their golden ale and the German chocolate cake pastry stout. I really enjoyed all 4! I didn't try their food on this visit, but I look forward to trying in the future. Schnitz Ale Productions is a great new addition to Strongsville and looking forward to seeing how they grow!

Sam was an excellent bartender. We had a lot of fun talking with him. Beer was great! The place is beautiful. Next time we'll try food

This place is an experience; this is their main production facility, which also has a huge bar and restaurant space. It's so well planned; sit wherever, order food at one place, beer at another. They have bar seating, big and small tables, high tops, etc. Even with all the variety, it was still pleasantly loud and busy. At the entrance, you can go to the merchandise area, which is big. They have all their canned selections ready and cold to go as well. To the left of the bar is a self-guided tour hallway, where you can see a lot of the brewery and their huge wall of major beer awards from over the decades. We sat at a high top near the bar; the bartender was so efficient with our beers, there were so many to choose from I only wished we could've stayed longer. It's family friendly with games. Prices are super reasonable for the continued quality and arguably strong beer styles. If you're a beer fan, whether new or a veteran, this is a must-visit regional powerhouse. I look forward to visiting again soon.

We started with the Frickles, crispy pickle chips served with honey mustard and sriracha 1000 island dressing. The sriracha 1000 island is so good that we always ask for an extra side to dip our fries and chips in. I ordered a house salad with the Bumbleberry Poppy Seed dressing, which was fresh and flavorful. My youngest son stuck with his usual favorite, the Smoked Brisket Poutine, which never disappoints. My husband ordered the June special, the 5-OH Burger. This massive burger features an 8-ounce patty topped with ghost pepper cheese, Hawaiian BBQ candied jalapeños, bacon, onion straws, a grilled pineapple ring, and a cream cheese jalapeño popper. The flavor combination was outstanding, and the spice had a delayed kick that sneaks up on you a few seconds after each bite. My oldest son went with the BBQ Burger, loaded with smoky BBQ sauce, cheddar cheese, house bacon, onion straws, pickles, and horsey sauce. Another excellent choice. To wash it all down, my husband enjoyed two beers: the Hazy Headhunter and Hop Thunder from Down Under, both of which he really liked. The food is consistently great, the portions are generous, and the atmosphere is always lively and welcoming. Today we sat outdoors on the large patio. After all these years, Fat Head's continues to be one of our family's favorite places to eat. Highly recommended!

We've never had a bad experience, so I finally decided it was time to leave a review. One of my family's favorite appetizers is the fried green beans, we order them almost every visit. My youngest son always gets the poutine topped with Wisconsin white cheese curds, house smoked brisket, savory brown gravy, and scallions. It's one of his absolute favorites. This past visit I wasn't very hungry, so I decided to try the special lasagna soup and it was excellent. It genuinely tasted just like lasagna in soup form and was perfect comfort food. My oldest son ordered the Smokehouse Pulled Pork sandwich with hickory smoked pulled pork, house BBQ sauce, pickles, and served on a challah bun with fries and house slaw. My husband went with the chef's special smash burger, which he really enjoyed as well. The food is consistently good, portions are generous, and the atmosphere is always welcoming. Definitely one of our go-to spots in the area.

I'm sure it saves them a LITTLE bit of money to not order paper/cardboard bowls, but at the same time - the dip is $13! If I'm ordering it to go it should be in a bowl that is easier (and less messy) to dip the bread in. The bread is also supposed to be "grilled ciabatta" - my bread was definitely not grilled. Why not serve this dip with the same chips that are served with the buffalo dip? As a former hostess, I was also disappointed with my pickup experience. The restaurant was EMPTY (it was lunch time), there was no one at the host stand so I went to the bar to ask the bartender about my order. She asked me to wait for the hostess to clean off a table. Once again, it was COMPLETELY empty, no patron was waiting for this table to be cleaned off - but I AM here! And still, I had to wait for her to clean a table for no guests in an empty restaurant, instead of tending to me, the customer who was physically there. I have to get back to work, that's why I ordered to go, what the hell? Guests that are physically there should come first, even if my order is to go. Get it together Brew Kettle.

But that aside, two sodas and two meals was over $50 before the tip. The food itself was sub par. Mine was tough and overcooked. My son's was, albeit pretty, highly lacking in flavor. People were coming in and no one from the restaurant were greeting anyone or telling us where to go, sit ect. We had to go to the bar and ask along with everyone else coming in. We sat for 20 minutes before anyone even came over, some tables sat for over 30 minutes before anyone came to the table. Almost every table was complaining about wait times and lack of service. They imposed a 2 hour limit for each table which would be fine however we, along with every other table were waiting over 30 minutes for each refill. The crab was overcooked, very salty and cold. I've eaten a lot of AYCE crab and this was by far the worst I've ever had. None of the meat would come out in full pieces and it was more trouble than it was worth. We got no drink refills and had to go to the bar for our drinks. They automatically added a 20% tip for the server and a 5% convenience charge to use a credit card. The whole experience was highly disappointing and felt like a scam. People started talking among tables and it was clear the vast majority were very upset. Save yourself some money, aggravation and grief and go elsewhere. Horrible experience.
