The ice cream was fantastic. The girls working were very sweet and friendly. I'll definitely be going back!

We got two bubble waffles -- fun idea and super yummy. And a liege waffle -- which we actually preferred more. The bubble waffle is super soft and almost doughy and the liege waffle is more crisp. The vanilla ice cream is a vanilla bean and the perfect vanilla flavor. The strawberry was light and fresh tasting. The birthday cake was loved by my 12 year old. Definitely check this place out. Perfect for a date night, family outing, special event, or just to treat yourself!

Immediately, I was enamored by the llama theme and décor. No corner was ignored in the decoration-everything was thought out and branded so well. I was spending so much time admiring all the little llamas that I almost forgot that I was there for ice cream. The nice man behind the counter was happy to help us and on a regular day, we would have been more adventurous and tried more things. But since we'd been eating ice cream for the better part of the day, we stuck with a small serving to share between the three of us. It was a beautiful purple color, and that's what drew me in. The flavor was ube, which was probably not my favorite, but again, I was pretty maxed out on sugar. I am definitely planning to return to try more flavors and just hang out with all the cute llamas.

We got our company anniversary cake here, a rush job ordered one week ahead after our original…read morevendor (booked two months out) backed out last minute. We were charged a $50 rush fee. We asked for coconut cake, vanilla buttercream, lime curd filling, heart-shaped, with an image on top and some written piping. We picked it up and the frosting looked great, but the top isn't what we asked for. We say something; the person working goes in the back and calls someone. She comes back and says they couldn't get the piping to look good, so they decided to print the whole top as an image instead, and if we had questions to email. We were both shocked they made that call without consulting us. We email, say we weren't happy with the look, and that we'd consider it resolved if they refunded the rush fee, which they did. Their reply said they hadn't realized the piping was a hard requirement, and that on short notice they'd made the call to print it with the logo instead, for ease and to stay close to the inspo image. Worth noting: we'd confirmed the piping twice, once in the initial order, and again the weekend before, to make sure it was doable. So why they decided it wasn't important is anyone's guess. I'm of the opinion that using a rush as an excuse only works if you don't charge for the rush. If they can't fulfill a rush order as specified, they shouldn't take it, or they should at least call, at which point I'd have given them several options (including just doing a plain cake) before printing the entire top. It looked extremely cheap. Then came time to actually eat it: embarrassingly, no one at the party finished their slice. Off texture, no coconut flavor, and the lime curd was overwhelming. I do want to highlight that the exterior frosting was really good, but the inside just wasn't. Combined with the unprofessional, cheap-looking top, this was an extremely embarrassing experience for me as the person who coordinated and presented it to the company. They did refund us that $50, so I didn't want to email again, even though we were unhappy with the entire experience. I couldn't in good conscience recommend a custom cake from Alisha's for a future event, though it seems we are an outlier and I know they do better work than this.

Those that I like have to meet a few requirements that I have for eating. I have celiacs, so i avoid gluten at all cost, including any moderate chance of cross contamination, Corn also bothers me so another food that I avoid. beyond that I am picky with what goes into my food and how the food is prepared. Now to the review. the first thing I do at any restaurant is ask about their gluten free options and about cross contamination. This was the first day that the Provo location was open, so I expected there would be blank stares. believe it or not that happens a lot. Here they knew about some of the food but not all of it when it came to my questions. So they went back to ask, "I want to make sure so let me ask". the next thing i knew I was speaking to the owner, going over all of the items and the options I had and what to avoid. He made some suggestions and we went ahead with our order. I got. the tri tip steak and my wife got gnochi. Oh another thing about how i like my food. I like the ingredients, steak, potatoes, vegetables, etc, seasoned and not the other way around. I find a lot of places over season their food. Not here. the steak, veggies, and mashed potatoes were lightly seasoned, just enough to enhance the flavor but not overwhelm the core ingredient. the steak was tender, the vegetables perfectly cooked and seasoned. I didn't even try and figure our what seasonings they used, I just enjoyed the meal. Short of this part of the meal, fantastic. With the gnochi, we had a little bit of an issue. There was a problem with how they were cooked, they were a little stiffer than they should be, but the sauce they were in was fantastic. BTW, they are not gluten free, so this is my wife's perspective. When they asked how our meal was we mentioned that to them. They looked at the gnochi and agreed. they then didn't just correct the issue, but went above and beyond. They asked if we wanted something else, made a suggestion since we couldn't decide and prepared that for us. They also did something else while we were there. They tried to make more batches of the gnocchi, not for us but so that they could see what went wrong. Then came back and told us what they had done and the results. The service was some of the best I have ever had. They had a good selection of gluten free options, depending on your sensitivity your options might change, but there are plenty of options and a few that are not on the menu. The owner suggested a burger on mashed potatoes, even though they have a gluten free bun. My gluten sensitvity is pretty high, so he was providing as many options for me as possible. All in all, I really liked the food, the service, and the attention to my food sensitivities.
