Dang, this place is addicting. We have been coming every other week or since they opened. We love that the menu is different each week! The inside is nice and spacious. You are also greeted by nice employees when you enter. We ordered the golden graham s'mores bar and the peanut butter chocolate chip brownie this time. The golden graham bar was thick and so buttery and soft! It had a great radio of cereal, marshmallows, and chocolate. The peanut butter chocolate chip is a dream for anyone who loves that combination. We loved the peanut butter chips on the inside. The brownie was so soft! @bloxdesserts was our family treat stop this week with all our from-out-of-town visitors and Blox got the party going. The vibrant vibe of the store with the yellow and black contrast was simple and energetic and the geometric tiles play a trick on your mind. Just my thing. Everyone had something they loved with the monthly and weekly options. This was my first time and I enjoyed these far more than I expected. With a texture between a brownie and a cookie, I couldn't help but smile. The thickness of the base helps to offset the sweet frosting that is on some of them, but I still find that at times there is too much sweetness for my palate. I am failing in that I did not write down the name of each bar, but the peanut butter and chocolate blox was perfect with a layer of real peanut butter between the cookie and chocolate frosting. The one to surprise me most was the blueberry with the thin shortbread base and generous fruit filling all proportioned to provide you a perfect blueberry cobbler serving. I have heard all the buzz about Blox and finally made it to AF to try it out! It was super clean and bright - I was really impressed! The flavors this week were calling my name! The brownie and peanut butter bar are always on the menu - they also have pistachio, M&M Krispy, sugar cookie, and German chocolate. We had to try one of each and I was really surprised because I liked the pistachio the best!! It was sweet and salty with cream cheese frosting (sold)! I hope Blox is successful. We ordered four different brownies and all were good in their own way. The pistachio was our favorite. The sugar cookie bar was so soft and buttery. The original brownie was very rich with dark chocolate flavors (not my fav, as I'm more of a milk chocolate kinda gal)! Lastly, we got the Skippy (peanut butter). This was the only bar that was actually dry. Maybe this batch was over cooked, who knows. The flavor was there but the bar was pretty dry. Great new dessert place here in Utah county and I appreciate that they offer a variety of dessert bars. Tried all of their bars that they had this week and all are well done. The bars are very good sized! We actually cut them into 4 so that we could share around and try different ones. They have a couple flavors that are available each week - the classic brownie and the skippy (it's called a blondie but reminiscent of a peanut butter bar!) and the other flavors rotate weekly. I was very sad they didn't have lemon bar this week because I definitely want to try that one. But the variety is fun! The brownies are delicious, the rice krispy treats as well. Talk about stepping through the looking glass! This place is YELLOW! And the floor tile has this trippy 3D cube effect. Wild stuff. At first you might think you've stepped into one of the happy-go-lucky pot shops, the place is massive for no reason. Walk up to the bar and there's a section with ice cream tubs and on the right are the sacred cubes of sugar confection, 6 - 4x4 squares. I asked about them and got a detailed description of each, rotating (like draft beer?) flavors and concoctions. I chose to go with the brownie because, well, I like brownies. One thing to note, they are trying hard to be "influencer material". After the brownie was topped with a half a raspberry I was asked if it looked good. Now call me old fashioned, but I care less what food looks like and more about the taste, so I said "yeah, sure." Maybe I should've said it looked incredibly fantastic, beyond my wildest dreams? I got to say though, this is generally the type of "sweets" you try to avoid at the bakery section of your local Smith's. It is sweeeeeeeeeeee--eet! The brownie, I don't know, but I make better brownies from Ghirardelli at home. It's not that it wasn't good, just really fudgy, and with all that frosting on top, it's just too much. All the employees were cheerful, and it felt like they actually wanted to be at work and do their jobs. It was great!! Now for the dessert bars....they were all delicious. I loved the regular brownie, and the gourmet Rice Krispie treat was actually phenomenal. My husband and friend loved the lemon bar, but I'm not huge on lemon, so it wasn't my favorite. Blox is seriously the best!!!! They are located right off the freeway in American Fork. A great and upcoming location/area. They have the nicest employees! I've been in multiple times and every time I go in, I get more and more impressed about how friendly and welcoming they are. They will go into detail about all the dessert squares they are offering. There menu changes every week so it's fun to see new flavors. My recent favorite is Party On Top. It has almond flavoring and fruit on top. The bars and soft and moist. This chocoholic's always pining for pure chocolate. @bloxdesserts is a new dessert place in American Fork and they carry some staple brownies as well as roasting weekly roundup. My first trip deserved a sundae (of course). I got the classic brownie with a scoop of moose tracks ice cream--they serve Blue Bunny ice cream. Then they add any topping you'd like (Ghirardelli chocolate, caramel or salted caramel). I'll be back for more bars next week because this was rich enough for one day. The brownie was gorgeously dark and decadent but not too dark that a milk cocoa lover couldn't enjoy. It's moist, it's rich, and it's heavenly. Their regular line up always includes The Classic: a Ghirardelli dark chocolate fudge brownie swirled with chocolate chips, semi-sweet chunks (warms my little chocoholic heart), and The Skippy: a peanut butter blondie blended with steel cut oats, topped with our signature milk chocolate & Reese's peanut butter cups. Nice, clean, bright and friendly environment. A great place to come for dessert either in a date, with the family, or just on your own. They have 6 different choices of bars--4 change weekly and 2 change monthly. They change their weekly choices on Mondays. We had the Sugar Patch (monthly), and the Independence, Paradise, and Mississippi Mud (weekly). The bars were thick, dense (but not stodgy ), and moist (yes, I did use the word). The Sugar Patch was sweet with a hint of almond extract which went really well with the raspberry sauce and the cream cheese frosting. The Independence is a salted, brown butter rice krispy bar. The nuttiness of the butter and the hint of salt balanced very well the sweetness of the marshmallow. The Paradise had that absolutely fantastic tropical combination of pineapple and coconut that one would find in a Piña Colada in the small Caribbean island of Puerto Rico (personal shout out). The Mississippi Mud was decadent, with intense chocolate flavors, and walnuts to balance it out. We look forward to coming back and trying some of the other flavors. read more

I decided to grab dessert on the way to my aunt's house to see my mom while she was visiting and I'm so happy I decided on Blox! I've seen them on and off for awhile now but never had time to make it to the area. I'm almost positive they change their Manu weekly (check their IG to confirm) so this menu was for the week I went. I ordered a 6 pack so we were able to try a piece of each one together. The only one I didn't get was the one made with Hot Tamales, the candy. I wasn't positive if my family would eat it lol I ordered double of the Strawberry Shortcake one...best idea I had of the night ;) Not too sweet and the fresh strawberry on top was a win. The brownie one had a cherry cordial taste to it - not my fave and I definitely would not get that one again. Dulce Rice Krispie was good, not overly sweet in my opinion and a perfect Rice Krispie texture. The peanut butter bar was good, but I'm not a huge PB fan for a whole bar. I did not try the lemon bar but my family did like it as they enjoy lemon flavored desserts. Store was clean, bright and inviting. Service was polite and quick. It wasn't crazy busy for a Monday night but there were 3 groups before me and another 2 came in after me so steady while I was there seems about right. Thanks Blox! This place is impressive. Our server greeted us with "How can I make your day brighter?" It really caught us off guard and we liked it. There are 2 flavors that are always available: the classic (brownie with caramel and walnuts on top) and the skippy (a peanut butter bar). The other 4 flavors change, today the choices were: Pucker up (lemon), the Grammy (rice crispy and golden graham square), Crush and Party on top. Their classic Ghirardelli brownie was very rich, their cookies and cream was similar to the classic brownie but featured a tasty cookies and cream buttercream frosting. Our group's favorites were the Skippy (chocolate and peanut butter) and The Goat (blackberry and goat cheese). Talk about a sugar rush! Blox offers a handful of sweet treats shaped in square blocks, and a lot of the flavors rotate in and out every week. It's on the expensive side for treats--a single Blox costs $5, and a box of 4 costs $17 which is about 25% pricier than Chip or Crumbl cookies. My friend and I picked out a box of four, including a peanut butter chocolate cookie, the Island Krispe (rice krispe with caramel, chocolate, and marshmallow), Peaches & Dream (like a peach cobbler cookie), and a white chocolate macadamia nut cookie. Now I'm a huge sweet tooth, but I could barely eat one blox dessert square, they are SO sweet. The flavor of the Island Krispe was my favorite, but it's almost as if there's so much sugar I couldn't handle it. I'd eat Blox again, but it wouldn't be my first choice, given that they're most expensive than other options. I'd recommend splitting a box of 4 with a group of 4-6 friends so that you can try multiple flavors without experiencing sugar overload. read more

Really yummy dessert bars! We've had the scotcharoo Rice Krispie bar, the peanut butter bar, and the cake by Courtney biscoff bar. The biscoff one has been my fav so far but they're all delicious! Even the ice cream is nice and creamy ice cream. My only complaint is they're a little pricey.
