We got to town late and were hungry - we went to Blue Moon Cafe 15 minutes before closing time. They whipped up a delicious Vegetarian pizza that was cooked to perfection. They were very courteous and did not rush us out of there - we were so thankful that they let us order, we took our order back to our condo. Delivery time: biblical. Do yourself a favor and keep a minimum half mile distance from blue moon bakery. Can't believe I actually paid money for such a disgusting pizza and offending customer service. Everything about blue moon bakery will make you want to vomit. To sum the place up in one word would be impossible, as every negative word in a thesaurus would barely describe it accurately. Close this place immediately. How are they still open? We had quite a selection from here for lunch. Spicy Roast Beef Sandwich - This was excellent, with jalapeños, black olives, spinach, roast beef, and mushrooms on a freshly made bun. It wasn't that spicy though. It came with a pile of chips, which I didn't touch. Veggie Melt - The bagel was excellent. The toppings were uninspired. Pizza - Very good, with a great crust. Cupcakes, etc. were very good. And finally, we ordered a baguette to go and it was a great addition to our dinner. read more

Ordered two pizzas for delivery after a long car ride to Big Sky. Splurged and paid $45 for 2 pizzas. The plain cheese for my kids was completely burnt and inedible. Driver was long gone before we realized. Very disappointed and hungry. I owned a busy bagel shop in NYC for several years and will be the first to admit that I was suspect about getting a bagel here. This was hands down the best bagel I've had since I left the business. Fantastic sandwich shop and bakery with great homemade breads, bagels, and pizza. We were in town for a week and had their sandwiches twice and came for desserts a third time. Their foccacia bread in particular is great for sandwiches, as is their multigrain bread. Service can be a bit slow at lunch but mostly because they are busy and making things fresh to order...which is a good thing! read more

We ordered carry-out pizza and a few bakery items. When I called, the employee was very friendly & answered my questions without being in a rush to take my order. The pizza tasted good. The crust has a twisted braid & Parmesan cheese on it. The crust is not too thin/not too thick. The cookies are big! We had snickerdoodle & chocolate chip. Also, we ordered a rich dark chocolate frosted brownie (no nuts, yeah!). Each of these slightly warmed in the microwave made them even more delicious. read more

Very disappointed in our experience at the Blue Moon Bakery. The staff was very rude, unprofessional, and had major attitude. (With the exception of the cashier who was so sweet). The food was great but a few of the staff members, one in particular was so rude to my family. He first yelled at us for waiting in the lobby for our food. We had no idea they would bring the food out to us. Then when he brought us our food he slammed it down on the counter and stormed off slamming the door behind him. They forgot to give us one of our pastries we ordered so I politely went in and asked for it, and when they asked for a receipt I explained they didn't give me one. He gave me more attitude rolling his eyes and bagged my pastry and threw it on the counter without saying a word. We are visiting from Utah, and this bakery looked like a fun place to eat. Would not recommend this to anyone visiting. I understand everyone has bad days but this was more than just a bad day. read more

Baked italian on ciabatta was the best sandwich I've had in the last year. It was on the more vinegary/salty side of things, which hit the spot. The mix of meats was just right without one overpowering everything else. Onions sliced thin. Ciabatta bread was amazing. Went up to the cashier to tell him the sandwich was excellent and he gave me a high five. read more

Terrible, terrible service. We had 4 families visit while on our recent trip to Big Sky. We showed up on a Friday night about 6 and ordered. The other 3 families got their food relatively promptly while my family waited. After they were all done and several other folks that ordered behind us were done and we still hadn't received our food, I went down to see what the problem was. We had ordered 2 salads and breadsticks as appetizers and then 3 calzones (some of the others in our group had also ordered calzones so I know it wasn't that). After my first trip, they finally brought our salads. Another 15 minutes or so went by (it was now about 45 minutes after we ordered) and they finally brought our breadsticks. I refused them, saying they were an appetizer and we should already have our food, much less just now be getting our appetizers. They offered no apologies or refunds. I went down again after several more minutes to check on our calzones and was told they were on separate tickets and were in the oven. Obviously, they weren't ordered on separate tickets, so somebody screwed up. They came up and it was obvious they had been rushed through the oven. Not all of the cheese was melted on the inside. An hour and a half after we walked in, we were finally done. That's ridiculous for a small pizza joint. It's too bad too because the other families said their food was good. read more

The food was very good, however the bad service was enough for us to never return. The majority of our order was forgotten, but that's not the worst part. We waited at the counter to order a cookie and were ignored for 5 minutes. When we simply said "excuse me", we were rudely told that we need to wait while he made food. We were then ridiculed and told that someone needed to help us because we "needed help right away." Not returning and do not recommend! read more

To start we had a hard time finding this place. Finally called for more specific directions. We got there. I ordered the Greek Salad and it was ok, but really not a true Greek salad. I did manage to eat the whole plate. My hubby ordered and loved the baked Italian sandwich, it was very good.
