Love this place! It's so cute inside and the staff are wonderful. The food has been incredible every time and it's reasonably priced. I always bring family and friends here when they come to visit

I haven't been to many diners in my life (this might have been my only experience) but I've been here a couple of times and its ok. The cook and waitress always greet me and tell me to have a nice day when I leave. The food, coffee, and juice is like anywhere else really. The two times I have been here I had an upset stomach both times and my clothes wreaked of food. There is ample street parking as the small lot is usually full. Overall, I'm sure its a cool diner experience but I don't like the fact I had an upset stomach both times after dining here.

Here is my quick update: Great food, good service, fun atmosphere and community focused owners. Do yourself a favor and come eat here for breakfast, lunch and now dinner (on certain days)!

I really loved this place. Discovered it today while passing through Gardner. Place has great energy and loved my plum muffin. Coffee gave me a mean (in a good way) fast rush. Railway Diners, I have always had a soft spot for but this one is special. Although they denote that they have been in operation since 1949, my research reveals it was the Miss Town Diner from 1949-1954 where thereafter it was moved to Gardner. The railway car was restored in 1984. So, it became Blue Moon, I am guessing somewhere between 1954-1984. Cute cute place and deserves stronger reviews. Love it!!

My family and I went here the morning of my wedding since we knew we wouldn't have time to eat anything else all day. I'm SO glad we ate here- the vibes were laidback and the food was excellent. We wanted to be in and out in under 30 minutes because we had to start getting ready, which the waitstaff must have picked up on because we got served immediately and the food came out so quickly! Highly recommend this place for a chill yet delicious breakfast

A blind man can sense the greatness that's cookin up at this joint. I'm not from the 50's, but the diners essence brought me back, now reminiscing let me get to the food.... Im not a local so I came in right before an appointment. I was pleasantly delighted with my crab cake Benedict. The Hollandaise had a nice hint of lemon and the crab meat was plentiful and fresh. Waitresses were attentive and assuming. The price is even more delightful. Looking forward to stumbling in again. Signed first timer from Atl

I always retry this place every year and I never like the homefries. Everything else is pretty good. Not bad for classic Diner food and since cruisers closed. A little pricey for dinner food however. Ending up spending about $15 after tip for a mediocre meal. Eggs were perfectly over medium, the pancake was a little pale, homefries slightly hard and absolutely no flavor. Toast and Bacon were cooked well! Over all would come again... mostly for convenient location

My boyfriend, 1 year old daughter & I came in to try the food as we were staying less than 10 mins down the road at Great Wolf Lodge. The pecan rolls & corn fritters were amazing!!! Especially dipped in the maple syrup! We got a kids chicken tenders & fries which was a great portion! Fish & chips & teriyaki steak tips with fries. We were starving after swimming all day and ate every bit because of how great all the food was. Nice beers to choose from & I had a yummy pomegranate marg. They were so accommodating of our overtired toddler as well. Thank you to our server Cera for doing a great job! When we're in the area, we will definitely return. We almost didn't come here because the reviews didn't all look great but we are SO glad we tried it! If you have a good experience here definitely urging you to leave a nice review (: Also love the ambiance of downstairs with cozy tables , warm lighting and the nice fireplace. Bread basket includes the pecan rolls the restaurant is known for, and corn fritters (yum!) We liked the spinach artichoke dip and chicken broccoli alfredo (which came with a humongous piece of fried breaded chicken). The southwest chicken salad was okay, the chicken was a bit dry and the ranch dressing was a bit thicker than I expected, but the corn and avocado made up for this. The food took a while to come out but our server was great.

In my mind I was already regretting my decision. He also boasted how he serves about 50 gallons a week to which I questioned if he serves it to pigs. I proceeded to taste only to realize that it tasted like gunk and he makes the environment hostile by angrily saying that hundreds of people eats this every week and it is NOT worth spitting out even though it could make someone sick. Then someone made a mess in the kitchen and said that the women are best are cleaning it as its up their ally. Anyway I came back later in the night for dinner and I request a Greek-Style Crusted Rack of Lamb and LET me tell you how chaotic it was. One chef couldn't repeat back the order, another chef had an an aggresive attitude and wanted to do the meat despite the fact that he was in charge of the salads. The owner then proceeded to throw the rack of the lamb with NOT an ounce of seasoning or sear. 5 of the cooks saw this and rallied behind him to correct sear and season the lamb. When I was served my dish it was a mess. ALL of the lamb was improperly cut with one looking like as if though he took a bite out of it. When I took my dish to explain it I saw at LEAST 10 pounds of LAMB WASTED. I decided to leave as the kitchen was such a mess and when I said my experience was horrible the owner said a horrible comment. He was lucky that he was the OWNER and NOT an EMPLOYEE because I would have ejected him from the kitchen and told him to go upstairs and get his bags packed. - Nordon Samson For anyone reading this, understand that I am referring to a famous moment about the owner. Aside from this the coffee and pancakes were ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS and would HIGHLY RECOMMEND everyone to come here for pankcakes and the breakfast.

I ordered an omelette with swiss, bacon, mushrooms and onion and it was perfect. My partner ordered the eggs Florentine and that was delicious as well. The parking lot is pretty small, so when it's busy you might have to park on the other side of the street. The interior was really cute as well; it really felt like a hometown diner. We will be back!
