Love this place! After moving to the state finding a new nail salon was a nightmare till I found this place! The staff is so friendly, it's always clean, fast paced. I think the longest I waited was 25 minutes when they were busy but that's fast to me! My nail's always looked great walking out the door, they are gentle and give hand massages after words! The pedicure was my very first one, I hate my feet touched but I decided to give it a try. This was the best experience yet! The chair was a nice massage, the lady who did my feet was gentle yet firm, it was nice smelling products, perfect water temperature! They even give complimentary drinks! Definitely a treat!!! Blue Nails is the best place I've found in the Chattanooga area. I usually get gel nails and regular polish on my feet. The experience (soak, massage and all that comes with the pedi) is always great. I get the deluxe which offers scent choices and a bit more pampering. I also will get the stone massage too from time for time. The cast of character that are the staff are fun. It was a bit to get used to. They tend to banter with each other and pick on everyone. Especially King. Lol. Personally, I think it's the best manicure and pedicure and the price is worth it. From the times I've gone, my gel has lasted well over 2 weeks ever time. They have a one of the best selection of colors from muted to the crazy colors. I enjoy getting the glitter polishes and gels. my nail tech wouldn't listen to me and wouldn't go shorter and wouldn't round it out more even though I asked and showed him this exact picture- and when I went to show him the picture again, he made fun of me for going to it again. he didn't tOUCH my cuticles, not even a push back, and he stayed PLENTY far from my cuticle so now it looks like i'm a week out of growth. they're thick, pointed, bubbles. they're not what I asked for at all. he made awful comments about other customers and asked my friend if she "was a size queen" and clarified he was talking about a man's (then gestured to in between his legs) my toes are also uneven :) the worst nail experience I have ever had. Been here a few times since moving here in August. Nails always turn out nice, but there is a lot of up charging. Gel is almost double the price of regular polish and they charged me for an almond shape! They aren't long, which I could understand charging more for, but I've never been charged for shape before. My daughter and I have been there 4 times now and love it ! Employees are very friendly and do a very competent job with pedicures and eye brow waxing . The drinks served are a huge plus . At this point, I have become a regular customer at Blue Nails and I doubt any other salon could pull me away. Every experience is quality and fun, I am a classic girl so I love my Ombre rose-gold coffin tips and my French pedicure. That said, Mike was able to do an absolutely beautiful set of fall nails for me(pic below)The staff here are absolutely amazing and are stellar in every sense of the word. I always feel beautiful and happy every time I leave and I enjoy the relaxation of being there. This is definitely a place you want to go to have your regular nail appointments. You will get lots of compliments on your nails and I have never had an issue with breakage, chipping, or any other blemish to my sets. The facility is clean, the staff know what they are doing and they all work to provide a quality service. Once a month, I take my 8 year old daughter in to have her a gel mani/pedi with her momma and Mike always takes care of her personally and they have the best time, he treats her like a princess and they laugh, giggle, and play "would you rather" together. Mike and his staff are so accommodating and thoughtful to customers of all ages it really is a rare thing to see in salons these days. I give this business a solid 4 stars. The quality of service is a 4.5. I would like to have walked away with no dryness on my heels, but I haven't had a pedicure in 3 months. They were gentle with my feet. The shop is older. The products like lotion are lower quality. The chairs are a little worn. The atmosphere is a bit casual. The experience met my expectations. i highly DO NOT recommend this place. not only were the nail techs rude, the man who did my nails did a TERRIBLE job. Im never one to complain but he charged Me $88 for uneven, chunky, nails with gems not even lined up correctly or centered and the paint he did was super messy and looked like I got them done by a 10 year old. took him almost 3 hours and after 2 hours of watching him butcher my basic acrylic set, he told he couldn't do my design (medium length french tips) and gave me plain white which looked even worse because of how terrible the acrylic was laid down. very disappointed at how rude the people are there, especially for their extreme prices. I recommend 1st nails on highway 58 instead. I live 35 minutes (without traffic) from this nail salon but i will always make the drive! I have had nail salons in Fort O, GA refuse doing a pedicure because my 3 year old was with me to get hers done as well. Blue Nails always welcomes us both and the staff is so sweet! The other day for our Mother's Day outing, she needed help in the pedi chair next to mine so she could let her toes dry.. the lady doing mine took her gloves off, picked her up, brought her a sprite and helped her get comfy in her chair. The store was nice but the experience was awful. First she kept trying to convince me to get my cuticles cut which I didn't really need and I finally said yes and she pulled out dirty cuticle cutters from a drawer so I said no! She did dip gel for me but was wearing gloves so whenever she would use her finger to correct mistakes it would just smear it. She never once tried to use a brush or a tool to remove the access dip powder and polish from my skin. She had filed my nails down so low so the skin was showing under my nail. Then she applied the top coat without cleaning off my hands so I still had powder all over me. By the time she was "done" I had dip polish bonded to the tips of my fingers and some nails have it attached to the cuticle as well. She blamed this on me not letting her cut my cuticles (WITH DIRTY CUTTERS), then said it would come off with water. I went to wash my hands and IT DID NOT COME OFF. I went to check out so I could leave and she saw I was annoyed with the outcome so she took cuticle cutters another employee was using with a customer and tried to use them on my skin. I said "are those clean" and she replied "yes they are clean" and I said no they aren't not and gave her money for the dip gel, no tip, and walked out. I had to pick the bonded powder off my skin myself- which was hard because my nails were so short- and it hurt so badly. Never EVER let a nail tech use dirty tools- anything that doesn't come out of a sanitation packet- on you. Apparently this facility believes it's okay to do so, I would not recommend going. read more

My first and last trip to Blue Nails. I came in for a toe nail color change to white tip and gel nail polish (white tip) as well and was charged $71 and neither of them even lasted one week. Went there for the first time today. Tech did my pedicure and dip nails. Pedicure was ok but she cut my nails crooked. Dip nails are definitely not her strong suit. As others have mentioned, she got the glue in my skin and cuticles and tried to clean it up with a gloved finger which just made is worse. Charged extra to shape my nails! WTH?!? Surface was lumpy and uneven. I asked for SNS topcoat and was told there isn't one. Wanted to use UV gel topcoat. I explained that I've used SNS products for years and yes they make a top coat. I explained that I didn't want my hands under the UV light. So they used regular nail polish and they look horrible. I'll have to take it off and redo them with the SNS topcoat I have at home. When I said I wouldn't be coming back - they said that's fine, don't come back. They took $5 off my bill and I still tipped her $15 on a $72 bill. They are more expensive than what I was paying in Southern California! read more

I went here for a set of acrylics. The wait time was little to none. They were overall pretty nice to me. The only problem I have is three of my fingers started bleeding when they had to drill thing. Let me start with this. My nails look great. What I was not impressed with was the personality of the person who did them. Four of us came in from out of town for a wedding. Came here following the good reviews. I enjoyed being offered a drink and that I was never made to feel rushed. The young lady doing my nails was close to being openly hostile. Minimal eye contact, no pleasantries, not a single word that did not have to be said. Glared. Except when she was speaking Korean and laughing with her co worker, then I knew she was capable of smiling. (her English was perfect, so it wasn't the reason for the stone cold silence). One of my friends actually asked me about it after we left. I tipped too generously. Maybe she knew we would not be repeat customers, being from out of town, but 3/4 felt very uncomfortable. My girlfriend had her eyelashes done and filled in about once a month by the owner .Well upon getting the fake lashes removed from a licensed aesthetician we found out that the owner himself had used auto adhesive to glue the fake lashes to the real ones , some of the lashes were even glued to the eyelid ... eyelash glue remover would not remove these lashes... it was a long and tedious process before th e fake eyelashes were removed, (over 2 hours .. and the removal was done by a licensed aesthetician) and some of the real lashes had to be pulled out completely due to the improper adhesive. ... let this be a warning to all who have had this procedure done at this salon or who are considering it ...
