Great experience. Bartender was bright, sharp and very friendly. Beers - oh yea! Nailed them. Very good flavors, well balanced, nice selection. If I lived closer, this would be a frequent spot.

Great service. Tried the Cricket, Can't wait for the roof top to open. We were told they have a food truck that comes regularly.

Blue Ocean Brewing is AMAZING! We were beyond grateful to use this establishment to host our annual crab feed fundraiser for the Kirk Michael Peterson Good Samaritan Award. 2.24.24 was a magical day on the coast honoring those dear to our hearts. The Boardroom combined with ample seating outside made for a beautiful setting to welcome our feast. Much thanks to Tom and everyone at Blue Ocean Brewing. Special thanks to Jeannette, the event manager, who went above and beyond to help me make this a successful event. Cheers!

On a coastal trip I visited this Blue Ocean Brewery today and had a great time, I think they're doing a great job with their beers, flavors are really good with attention to detail, my favorite was "SUP". Italian Pilsner which had a nice smooth beginning with a dry hop ending, great flavor in my opinion, what added to the experience was the fact that Eddy one of the owners and Lauren, that works there, Made you feel at home, they both had awesome people skills willing to share their thoughts on the beer and the process of making it, for food there was a lunch wagon in front of the brewery that had a really good Mexican food, (sorry I do not remember the name of the lunch wagon). When you would order food they would bring it into the brewery for you you can eat it inside. Definitely will come back next time I'm visiting Northern California coast!!!

Best Beer. Best Service. Best Vibes. Lauren was our server and she went above and beyond. Attentive, helpful, and so hilarious. Super hometown feel here, right on the harbor literally minute walk from Mavericks. This is a primo spot! Check it out!

Being from out of…read moretown and on vacation, we inquired as to which beers were their own and which were recommended but the guy at the register was not very friendly or informational. When he brought us the beer, he set them down without telling us which one was which and walked away and we had to stop him in his tracks to ask. We ordered 2 of their own beers to try, including a pumpkin cream ale, though, it didn't have much of a pumpkin flavor. Both beers were also fairly flat. We finished off most of these beers but we would not return.

We snagged a picnic table in front of the entrance and went inside to order. My friend and I aren't beer drinkers, so we got some lemonade and iced tea to make our own Arnold Palmers. For food, we ordered Pierogies and Burrata Poutine for the table. The Pierogies were unfortunately super bland - edible, but nothing special. I loved the skinny fries in the Burrata Poutine and the concept of the dish sounded fantastic. However, the execution could've been better - the gravy wasn't my favorite and I wish there was more burrata on the big pile of fries. I also got a Chicken Caesar Salad for myself, which was very standard - exactly what I expected. My friends enjoyed the Pulled Pork Sandwich and Chicken Fingers with Tater Tots. Overall, not terrible, but far from my favorite brewery meal.

We arrived around 1 PM on a Saturday, so we fully expected it to be busy. What we didn't expect was a parking lot with only about 10 spaces. You can't park along Highway 1, so if the lot is full, your only real option is finding a spot in the neighborhood or on one of the side streets behind the restaurant. There's no indoor seating, but they do have two separate outdoor seating areas. There's only one register for ordering, and the line was pretty long. It took us about 20 minutes to place our order. They give you your drinks and a buzzer, and then you find a table and wait for your food. We sat in the garden area, which we really liked, but after about 30 minutes I was starting to wonder if our buzzer was even working. Of course, right as I got up to go check on our order, it went off. It's a little difficult to rate the service because there really isn't much service. You place your order at the counter, get your own water and condiments, pick up your food when it's ready, bus your own table and throw away your trash. I also couldn't find silverware anywhere after picking up our food. They were still slammed, so I didn't bother trying to track someone down and we just ate with our hands. The good news is the food was excellent. We both loved what we ordered, and the fresh-cut French fries were especially good. The outdoor setting and garden area also have a really nice atmosphere. The biggest disappointment came when we went to clean up our table. The trash cans were completely overflowing with plates and garbage piled on top, and it looked like nobody had cleaned the area in quite a while. I actually had to push the trash down just to make room for ours. So overall, excellent food and a great outdoor setting, but between the parking, long wait, almost entirely self-service setup and overflowing trash, there's definitely room for improvement.

When trying to decide where to get dinner on Main Street, we couldn't make a decision. My husband suggested Cameron's so we drove over. Dog Friendly: Lucked out with a spot in front of the patio! Lucked out with a table (anywhere) to sit with our dog. They offer water bowls and toys to play with while we're dining. My dog was able to chill for the most part (larger dogs make our rescue pup nervous) but he liked the couple behind us. Eclectic: It's a cool place with different dining areas. They were setting up for Karaoke (Friday/Saturday nights). There's so much to explore with all the knick knacks. The playlist in the dining room area was a wide range of music - I don't know how to explain it but you're listening to "It's a Small World" and then "Sweet Caroline!" You have to see it for yourself. The gender assigned restrooms are located in between the pinball machines. I literally walked outside and then walked back in when I finally found it and was embarrassed! Food: We split the special of the day - prime rib sandwich, but my husband was still hungry and we split a sampler platter. The food was what I expected - pub grub but it was worth it with the vibe. Drink: I usually don't drink but their cocktails were really good. I forgot what I had but it was the rum based drink. Overall, I hope I don't wait another 10 years to return - that was a great ending to our day trip to Half Moon Bay.

I got there right as they opened and sat at the bar. I watched the bartender interact pretty rudely with two other patrons, then walk past me without even saying hello or acknowledging me. After sitting at the bar for another minute or two without being greeted, I decided to just get up and leave. Maybe I caught them on a bad day, but after making a special trip out there, it was a pretty disappointing first impression. I'll give it another star because the place looks fun.
