This place was a huge pleasant surprise. It was a rainy/windy day and we were over in the area because we were just kind of driving the coast. We didn't expect much in this area because we were coming from the somewhat industrial looking side, but decided we wanted to look for a brewery. We googled and ended up trying this place out. Because of the weather, we didn't think there would be anyone else in here and didn't have super high hopes. We were so wrong! When we entered, there was a duo playing live music. They were enjoyable to listen to. There were also quite a few people in there of all ages and seemingly, different walks of life--always a fun thing to see. I ordered a flight and every beer on it was nice and crispy cold--the only way to enjoy beer in my opinion. And the flavors of every one were so impressive. We both love beer and are very impartial to our own local breweries in the town we live in--but coming here made me wish this was in our town! My husband ordered a pint of Sea Wolf and he really enjoyed that. I had the Love Boat on my flight which sounded intriguing to me. It was SO GOOD. It was an ill Ali eery and graham cracker sour. I'm not always a sour lover, but it was the perfect balance. I would say that and the Sea Wolf were my favorites. The gal working, Lauren, was incredibly sweet. We asked for some local suggestions of places she liked for food, drinks, etc. and she was really helpful--gave us lots of great insight. She also chatted with us about her dog and ours...overall just really cool vibes. This will definitely be a go-to spot on all our future visits to the HMB area! read more

Pretty solid newish brewery. There was live music and dancing outside when I went. Plenty of seating outside and inside as well. There's a whole another room just for games like corn hole and connect 4, and has 1 bathroom. The main bar area has board games, darts, a TV for sports, and 1 bathroom. Nestled among the crab traps in Princeton Landing is a new craft brewery that is already a local's favorite. While I'm not local, I know a good craft beer when I find one and Blue Ocean is serving up several. This dark beer fan was blown away by their milk stout, which was carefully poured. It was creamy and flavorful without any bitterness on the palate or finish. My companions enjoyed the range of IPA styles. This little brewery offers inside and outside seating, including a roof top view, which they will no doubt outgrow based on the early buzz and their impressive offerings at $7 a pint. read more

We were beyond grateful to use this establishment to host our annual crab feed fundraiser for the Kirk Michael Peterson Good Samaritan Award. 2.24.24 was a magical day on the coast honoring those dear to our hearts. On a coastal trip I visited this Blue Ocean Brewery today and had a great time, I think they're doing a great job with their beers, flavors are really good with attention to detail, my favorite was "SUP". Italian Pilsner which had a nice smooth beginning with a dry hop ending, great flavor in my opinion, what added to the experience was the fact that Eddy one of the owners and Lauren,that works there, Made you feel at home, they both had awesome people skills willing to share their thoughts on the beer and the process of making it, for food there was a lunch wagon in front of the brewery that had a really good Mexican food, (sorry I do not remember the name of the lunch wagon). When you would order food they would bring it into the brewery for you you can eat it inside. Definitely will come back next time I'm visiting Northern California coast!!! read more

This brewery just recently opened and it is wonderful already! Close to other breweries around half moon bay, like Hop Dogma and Half Moon Bay Brewing, it is situated in a converted home, with a lovely outdoor space, and delicious beer! I had the Pale Ale, which was crisp, had a bit of a bite, and was very iconically a Pale Ale. Try their IPA as well, quintessentially west coast IPA. read more

Stopped by while staying at a local inn. The place, as you walk in is welcoming, friendly and just makes you want to stay to have a few. In the two days that I stopped by there were two different bartenders. Both were amazing and super friendly. For beer, my favorite was the juicy IPA.
