Ziggy was the only contractor that would even come to give me an estimate for fixing this problem. After purchasing the house, we hired Ziggy to do the repair work. The work is rock solid! After that, we hired Ziggy to install a larger window in the garage. Later, we had an emergency when the siding company removed aluminum surround from two supporting balcony columns and discovered the columns to be so rotten they didn't touch the ground and crumbled upon touch. Ziggy came out the same day to replace those supports (roughly 25 ft in length, each), so the siding work could continue on schedule. His pricing has always been fair and reasonable. 06/03/14 dropped off my motorcycle windshield at Ameriglass & Mirror to have it shortened from…read moreoriginal height, this is a special order windshield. 06/04 Ameriglass called saying they could not complete the request this week and I could pick up my windshield and return 06/10 for my requested service. 06/10/14 dropped off my windshield again at Ameriglass for shortening service request. After a couple hours Ameriglass called reporting a problem with my request and to come there for details. I went to Ameriglass and their tech showed me how it had cracked/broken while he was cutting it, below the requested size, he said it broke because he did not know the type of plastic he was working on. Previously I had been told that their tech had been providing this service for years and is very experienced at it. He said he could try cutting it lower. I requested he cut it and retain as much height as possible. Ameriglass called about 30 minutes later reporting it was completed. I went to Ameriglass and picked up my windshield, replacing it on my motorcycle, I also requested the business owners name (Rich Ianni of Rockford Auto Glass (815)226-0560). Immediately it was apparent the height was insufficient for normal use as the windflow was now directly in my face below eye level. Called and left msg for owner (Rich) to call me. About 90 min later Rich called and I explained the circumstances to him, he said he would investigate with his employees and call me back. 06/12/14 After repeated calls and messages, called and finally spoke with Rich Ianni, we discussed the situation and events again. Per Rich, they do not take responsibility for their employees mistakes/errors, no guarantee of workmanship. He said they would NOT replace the windshield or provide further compensation. I filed a BBB complaint and am still waiting for resolution. Personally since they do not guarantee their work, or compensate for their mistakes, I would not recommend their services, or their parent company of Rockford Auto Glass that this technician is employed by.

All was done in one day, at a good fair price with a great roofer, Eric, who showed me pictures of all the work which was visibly well-done. View from street was perfect also. They listen carefully to what you need, are willing to work with you, answer calls/appointments perfectly, and are always nice and fair. And don't forget the great job done! I first worked with them when they put my roof on and rebuilt nasty old dormers on a mansard roof (ugh) and added a skylight about 20 years ago and did a superb job then. Then one easy repair on gutter edge a few years later with no problems and good job. I highly recommend them and am very happy to see that they haven't lost any quality over the years.
