Three of us went here last night for dinner. Overall the food was mediocre. Salmon was a bit dry and didn't really taste fresh. Baked potato was OK but the I wondered what the strange balls of hard meat was on it -- bacon? The rolls they brought - just 3 - were nothing special. Straight out of a package. The service was haphazard with many servers running around trying to be helpful, but they were not professional. I will go to the one in Leesburg next time. read more

I always go to BRG and was disgusted with the service and the food. My burger was horrible! The waitress was rude and inattentive and I had to wait for 15 minutes after I asked for the bill! I won't be going to that location again! That is for sure! read more

We have been going to Blue Ridge for years (Leesburg). Since we moved to Ashburn we decided to give this new Blue Ridge a try. The waitress unfortunately was a bit hostile, which is something that we're not accustomed to with Blue Ridge. My prime rib was nowhere near as tender as it normally is, The brussels sprouts were so tough they were almost inedible. In addition my wife got the chicken sandwich which she often gets and it was tough and chewy. Pretty disappointed! read more

It is so sad how bad customer service has gotten at this restaurant. We use to go to Blue Ridge Grill, at least once a week sometimes two, for many years. Brambleton location then the AshburnVillagae location when we moved. We stopped going because we had such poor service. Last night we decided to give it another try. This was the worst experience yet. They were busy so we sat at the bar to eat. The little bartender we had was not in a good mood. She was so rude to us. We ordered Prime Rib and Ribeye when we received our food. I had a question about my steak. She yelled at me actually yelled at me. I asked for a box to take my steak home since it was not how I ordered it. They use to box your food for you, she grabbed a box and set it in front of us and walked away. I asked to speak to a manager, but he never came over. I have been in this business for many years and I do not understand how an establishment lets this happen. When a customer has a question or is not happy with there dinner. Send a manager to them, all I wanted was my steak cooked correctly. Well, Blue Ridge Grill, we will never be back and I will let everyone I know not to go there either. You need to check your staff especially the little bartender we had. How much business will you lose because of your staff of the people who say nothing and just walk away? Very sad. read more

Tonight was my first ever visit to a BRG. I gotta say, I don't think I've been missing much. The service was fine, the ambience ok (not my taste, but ok) but the menu/food was pretty run of the mill TGI Fridays/Ruby Tuesdays fare. I even asked my wife before we went what they were known for/what their specialty is and she couldn't answer, despite having been to BRG a couple of times. I thought the prices were pretty high too. I had the Pacific Rim entree salad which was your basic garden salad with a couple of slices of what appeared to be chicken cold cuts and crushed tortilla chips, for $14.25. Spinach artichoke dip is $11 (at Ruby Tuesday, $8.29). A cheeseburger is $11.50 ($9.49 at Ruby's), etc. Nothing I saw or experienced really justified the extra cost. Food as just ok, service was ok, but again, nothing about this dining experience was noteworthy. I was disappointed and won't go out of my way to go back. Especially with so many other local choices which are more than 'ok.' read more

Took my wife for her birthday dinner tonight with our son. Extremely friendly restaurant with an excellent menu and bar choices. Very attentive service. I Had the blackened rockfish, my wife the seafood linguini. Great choices. This is a remodeled ruby tuesdays but it's a significant upgrade in terms of decor, menu choices and quality. Nice job on the birthday desert presentation. Blue Ridge is a welcome change to the more expensive restaurants coming to the Ashburn area. Will be regular customers. read more

I was there last week they had half price wine bottles from 4 to 9 which was a bonus. Lots of specials added crab cake to steak for a discount. The Leesburger and the BRG burger also cooked perfect. Everything was cooked well and good but not worth the price. Our server was new you could tell but did a pretty good job if he was new. Will be back like always. Just not too often. read more

This location is better than the Leesburg location prime rib is excellent. Carrot cake totally awesome. The mahi-mahi was wonderful. The location is a nicer location, service excellent, drinks are fantastic and prices are very reasonable. We will most definitely be coming back here many times we were very impressed. read more

First time trying their newest location, and yes, it's just as good if not better than the Leesburg location. To start, they have a much better waiting area with lots of indoor/outdoor seating options if you need to wait. The hostess stand is welcoming, and the décor is interesting and inviting with cozy, larger than average booths and nice lighting. We had chicken picatta and grilled salmon, and both were cooked perfectly and delicious. Lobster bisque is the best we've had, and warm rolls are yummy too. Food is all reasonably priced for the quality and decent portion sizes. Thrilled to have another option available when we're craving BRG! read more

Too too expensive. There's just as good places to eat within 5-10 minutes drive that are priced more affordable. Third time here and the pricing just isn't right. Why would you charge $2.25 to change chicken from fried to grilled on a salad. They tried justifying it, poor waitress had a hard time saying the words management told her. Portion are good and servers are friendly. Cut the menu prices 10-15% and this pace is a solid five stars with lines waiting to get in 24/7 read more

Was in Ashburn the middle of last month. Heading back toward Route 7 spotted a familiar neon sign; "Blue Ridge Grill!" Didn't know the third location opened a few months ago. Turn left, I called out to my companion. We had been casually talking about stopping at the Leesburg location. This new place is shrine to American Casual Dining. Very welcoming, very comfortable, very nice personnel. We, of course, had to have our usual, perfectly cooked, deliciously drippy "Royale With Cheese" Burgers. Good cups of coffee on the side. Always order my fries extra crispy, and their skinny fries are always crispy and plentiful. By the way, kudos to the bathroom designers, granite meets stainless steel for a very cool look. Just ordered the fried shrimp dinner with loaded potato as take out. The potato was lukewarm but just popped in the toaster oven. I received 8 huge shrimp! They were oh so good. Also received a little side of coleslaw. I should have asked for more!! It was quite tasty! read more

It took me awhile to visit Blue Ridge Ashburn. It's quickly becoming my new neighborhood gem. Salads are excellent. Monday specials are fantastic too. Bar service is consistently pleasant. Looking forward to checking out Sunday Funday Brunch! read more

Ventured out to Leesburg today and tried this restaurant for the first time. It was really good. I wish there was one closer to me. I had the trout, the daily fish special. My family had a ahi tuna salad and prime rib sandwich. Portions were large. Service was top notch. The restaurant was full and had a nice ambience. read more

After craving steak for a few days, my wife and I stopped here after church for an early lunch. What we ended up getting was more in the brunch spectrum, but certainly no regrets were made in that decision. I got my steak in the form of a surf and turf eggs benedict that split the two eggs Benedict between a small, probably 4 oz., perfectly cooked filet mignon and a small crab cake with two sides, which I just so happened to take up with a double order of some of the best home fries that I've ever had. The surf and turf wasn't even on the menu, if I remember correctly! Our server, McKenzie (who was fantastic as well btw!!!), recommended it to us! My wife ordered the popular (deservedly so), wonderful country breakfast. If it weren't for the abundant amount of delicious food we got, we probably would've gotten some dessert. We have definitely put the Blue Ridge Grill on the list of places to revisit as well as a place to check for dinner. Looking forward to returning. read more

I was so excited when I learned that Blue Ridge Grill would be opening a restaurant within minutes of my house. I spent a Sunday there with friends watching the Redskin game. Billy made excellent martinis and the TVs were perfect ( although I would have preferred if they had turned the sound on. But I get it, this is not a sports bar). I was dismayed to learn that the steak and egg burrito from the menu could not be made without the steak. To me, it meant that this was prepared food and not fresh eggs and vegetables. I could be wrong, but I don't think so. A few days later a friend asked me to meet her there for dinner. We ate at the bar and my friend ordered a martini. When the drink was poured, only half the glass was filled. She was too embarrassed to ask, so I asked the bartender if she could please get a full drink ( like Billy and the others had prepared on Sunday). He replied that the drink was mostly alcohol so it was fine.. not exactly what I expected a good bartender to say. I asked if he could top it off. He made a sad attempt because, once he poured more liquid into the drink, the glass was only three-quarters full. Our crab cakes were soon delivered, the tops were barely warm, and the insides were cold. Again, not sure we got freshly prepared crab cakes. My friend informed the manager that our service that evening was surely lacking. He comped her drink. Her three quarter full martini. Sadly, I don't think this is going to turn into my Top neighborhood restaurant/bar. I really wanted this to be 'The One', as their restaurant in Broadlands is top notch. Back to One Loudoun. read more
