They have beautiful patterns and lots of things that are so cute you can't help splurging. Some things are so unusual you never knew you needed them. Lol. We like their discount days and go for the deals. The staff is very organized and they carefully wrap each purchase for you so that it makes it home without breaking. They even have ornaments for your tree. Over the years, I have bought soup bowls, a soup tureen, wine, water, juice, and champagne glasses, ornaments, vases, cheese plate, butter dish, loaf pan, ginger jars, and other items. Their website is super easy to use so that made it even better when picking out my dishes. I would say though, very overpriced. I go to Poland often so I get them for a fraction of the price but I understand not everyone has that luxury. They had a great selection and many sets, which I love! Years ago I was lucky enough to travel through Poland, including Boleslaweic, where this pottery is hand made and hand painted. I know the back breaking work that goes in to each piece. All support says is "we size our mugs to what we think people will fill them to". Good luck on the refund as you will be out 20$ to ship the mug back. These pottery pieces are wonderful! The last 3 sets of dishes I had, came out of the microwave so hot I had to use oven mitts every time. NOT my Blue Rose Pottery! I bought A $36 butter dish that when received was much larger than I expected. It takes two hands to pick up a butter dish because of how large it is. I returned it within the 10 days. It cost me $16.50 to ship it and they only returned a portion of what I paid them. Pretty disappointing to pay $26 for an object that I did not keep. read more

I purchased a rabbit figurine and although an authentic stamp was featured in a photo with the figurine it came without one. Since this was purchased as a gift for a collector I cannot gift it to her. Upon contacting Blue Rose Pottery I was told by Sophie they ship a separate card stating it is authentic. Since I did not receive one they offered to send me more cards. I guess I should have accepted as then I can buy more non authentic items and just present a card with it. PLEASE READ *(one) Star reviews. They all deal with the fact that Blue Rose Pottery does not guarantee you will receive your product once you have paid for goods and shipping. I lost several hundred dollars this year at Christmas when I reported my items had not arrived. I was told that FED EX uses a GPS tracking system to show their truck stopped at my house on the day my deliveries were to have been made - TWICE. They did not replace my items. They did not apologize. They simply said - "Sorry, you obviously got your items." I am stunned that they treat a loyal, long-time customer this way. Blue Rose Pottery deals exclusively in Polish pottery - very pretty, intricate patterns, all types of dinnerware, serving pieces, home decor items, etc. This location is described as their "warehouse location" so expect, other than a small retail showroom, a warehouse shopping experience with concrete floors, cinder block walls and bare bones wooden shelving. It is difficult to find if you're not looking for it but it's not far from the Wal Mart on the Tega Cay/Fort Mill border. Other locations (which I've not visited) are in the Blacklion stores on Park Rd and in Huntersville. The product selection at this location is huge, as you'd expect in the warehouse location. Almost too huge to fully appreciate and to shop thoroughly. But if you love this product, you owe it to yourself to come take a look. BTW, you'll save on sales tax by shopping the SC location instead of the Blacklion locations. They do run coupons and specials so check the website before you visit. We confused our cashier a bit because we wanted to use both the current 20% off the entire order coupon along with the free shipping for orders over $150. She had a little trouble with this but diligently worked through the process until we were able to use both. Saved us quite a bit of money as our purchase was a Christmas gift for relatives in Florida! Note too that the business hours at the warehouse location are limited to Monday-Saturday, 10 am - 5 pm. read more

We stopped here on impulse, after having lunch further south, and were pleasantly surprised with the experience. As the other reviewer noted, it is a small showroom for Polish-made pottery, with a larger warehouse space; in total, though, the area is what you'd expect for an early-20th-century store in a downtown location, so it isn't huge. Their selection is impressive, though, and the staff were very helpful at explaining the patterns and pieces. For example, we noticed a few Christmas ornaments, and one of us has a relative who collects such things. We asked, and they pointed us to their larger collection of ornaments, sorting out which were on sale. Another example, we noted a small tea set, and a staff member went to find all the pre-bagged sets, to show the different pattern designs available, since they weren't on display. The staff were friendly as well as helpful, and did not make us feel like we were inconveniencing them. They let us browse freely, pick up and examine pieces, explained the patterns and manufacturing, etc. I would definitely return if I were looking for housewares or gifts of such a unique origin. They noted that 85% of their business is on the Internet, so I can understand the small location, but it was pretty easy to browse the shelves in the warehouse as well as the showroom. Finest quality Polish Pottery. I have some that are not so great, from another source I think in the 1990s. I am replacing those pieces a bit at a time. Every piece is packaged perfectly, with no breakage, no flaws and shipping is quick.
