Quick turnaround for certain customers, but low quality stitching that falls apart after one cleaning. Also, bad vibes if you believe in that sort of thing. I recently had a piece tailored here and it was a quick turnaround time, which initially impressed me. However there was a yellow flag at the time when I first dropped off the piece - a black customer came in and they had completely forgotten to do her order that was over 3 weeks old. I noted it but also told myself it could be an isolated incident. When I picked up my order it was tighter in the bust than I remembered when we did the measurements, but I was pressed for time and figured it would be fine for the two days I'd be wearing it. It also just so happened when I picked up, there was a different black customer who was there to pick up an order. Again, the shop wasn't finished on time and also had messed up the pieces that were completed. The customer was understandably annoyed. I haven't been to the business enough times to know whether these were 2 isolated incidents or a pattern, but I feel that people should know this ahead of time. The final straw for me was that after wearing my piece 2x and having it cleaned once, the stitching on the hem completely fell apart. I'm going to have to pay to get it tailored somewhere else bc tbh the vibes in there are bad and I don't want to go back, even if they were to offer to fix it for free. read more

I had recently gotten a new pair of shorts. They fit me well and were comfortable, but were super lengthy and fit a little loose on the thigh. I was nearby and I spoke with Gaspar on the phone and he assured me he could fix them to my liking. I came in, explained that I'd like them shortened in length and to make them slimmer to hug my legs. In less than 20 minutes, he was able to get the shorts exactly how I wanted them! HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!! I will NEVER go to this place again! I brought my sisters prom dress to get tailored on a Monday. Ms.Rosa told me it would be ready by the weekend. I told her I will be picking up the dress on Saturday and she agreed that Saturday worked for her and it would be ready for me. I drove all the way there only for the shop to be closed at 2:30pm when the hours say they close at 6pm and she wasn't answering the phone nor was there a note on the door of why they were closed, mind you I live an hour away. I finally got ahold of Ms.Rosa on the following Tuesday and I expressed my frustrations of how inconvenient the situation was for me and ask for a discount because of wasting my time and breaking the agreement. I was polite and respectful when speaking to her over the phone. She absolutely did not care that I drove all the way there. She said something came up on Saturday and that she was not changing the price. Then she told me I can come pick up the dress if I didn't want to pay that amount because she still hadn't even started tailoring on the dress. ‍smh She had the dress for over a week and it was supposed to be done 4 days prior. Which means she totally forgot about my order. She's clearly unorganized and has POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! When I came to pick up the dress she didn't even greet me or apologize she just continued doing what she was doing, so rude. read more
