Are at Blue Sky for the first time! The food was excellent! I had the bacon cheeseburger which was huge. You can tell the food is made fresh. The fries look like they are cut fresh to order. I have had many burgers in my day, but as far as a flat grill this one rates right up there. My husband, son and I all had cheese burgers and no one was disappointed. My son and I added bacon which was cooked to perfection. The reviews I had seen were all about the sides so I suppose that is why we tried several. The onion rings that were raved about were a little stringy and a little more batter than I would have liked, but the flavor was on point. The fries were great. They were hand cut potatoes and a little thinner than most, more like a shoestring fry, which was nice for a change. We also tried the fried jalapeños. I think these guys were an after thought, and if we hadn't already devoured our burgers these might have shined a little more. This was a great find in Amarillo, TX. There are 2 in Amarillo and 2 in Lubbock...but you would never know this gem was a chain. read more

We chose Blue Sky for dinner when in Amarillo tonight based on Yelp reviews. The burgers were juicy and huge, the onion rings were downright heavenly and I am still thinking about that coconut tea! We told them we found them on Yelp. Highly recommend for all ages and stages of life. We met a lady who is from Pennsylvania and has to come to Amarillo for work once a quarter. Excellent food. We had been wanting to try Blue Sky for a while but never had the opportunity. If you are traveling through Amarillo, this is one of the must stop places. Very disappointed in this place today, usually a great restaurant with excellent service. Today, in the middle of the virus outbreak, we chose to go through the drive through. Ordered green chili burger- got chili burger, ordered ketchup, salt & pepper - got none , nor napkins or anything to even spread the chili. It is always so frustrating to go through a drive through and later find out you didn't get what you ordered. But during a time when drive through is what's keeping your business open, you'd think attention to details and customer service would be most important. read more

Top notch burgers! Everything in the menu is great but hands down my favorite is the green chili cheese burger. Fresh meat and full flavor these are the best fast casual burgers. Saw many positive reviews, and decided to try this place on our way to Colorado. Got a hamburger with grilled onions, a Greek salad, and a mixture of the peach and mint tea. Of those offerings, the tea was by far the best. The burger tasted fine, but was really only a step above Whataburger. The atmosphere was nice, but Haystack or Hopdoddy this place is not. This place amazes me. Everyday at lunch the line is out the door. For what? They have ok burgers. Just ok.. Fries and onion rings are a joke. There are several better burger places in town than this, Golden light, Smokey Joes, Coyote Bluff, Arnolds, just to name a few. The place is nice inside, and clean looking, but to do the business they do, with the food no better than what it is, is amazing to me. And it is not cheap either, 3 of us ate burgers fries and drinks, and it was right at 30 bucks. I would go there again, if I had to, but if I were choosing, i would go elsewhere, especially around lunchtime. read more

Great food, outstanding service!!! My family and I are regulars here, but what moved me to post a review was what happened when we went today. My wife and I were meeting up with family in hopes of eating and catching a particular game. I initially asked one of the guys working there if they had ESPNNEWS. He came back and said no. So my family and I got our food and sat outside in their patio. The manager took it upon himself to find an alternate channel to find the game. He found it and went outside to tell us he found the game. Again, we never mentioned what game we were looking for (must've been obvious which one we were wanting to watch lol), and we never asked him to keep looking. Talk about customer service! I went here a few of days ago with my family and to sum it up, IT WAS DELICIOUS. My mom and I ordered a simple burger with everything on it and a Greek salad (in a tragic attempt to feel like we're not being THAT unhealthy) and my dad ordered the steak burger (sorry, I forgot the real name) that the worker recommended. The burger was good and my dad's steak burger was REALLY good! Admittedly, the fries were saltier than the Dead Sea.. But I'm sure we can ask for less salt next time. The wait time was reasonable and we didn't have a waiter come up to us every five minutes asking us if we liked our food as soon as we took a bite, forcing us to embarrassingly respond in grunts and noises reminiscent of "good, thanks." Everything you need is laid out by the front counter, so you don't have to wait on someone to go fetch you a fork or whatever. I think we found our favorite burger joint in this cute little town! And I'm not going to comment on the Greek salad because it was exactly what you'd expect it to be. A fricken normal salad at a burger eatery. read more
