View from the dining area to the order counter. There is a TV that plays old TV Land shows like Mash.

I first noticed this place last summer and actually tried to go to it once but naturally I hit when they were on vacation, maybe in August? I meant come back but I'm not really a burger eater so I just never made it. Finally the other day I couldn't decide where to go eat but I knew I wanted to eat cheap so I decided to try this place out. I was actually pretty impressed. It's just fast food but they serve breakfast sandwiches all day long, which is what I got even though it was dinner time. They have a breakfast plate also but for some reason they stop serving it at some point and I forgot to ask what time. I also got a cherry limeade because everybody else was ranting and raving about them. I have to admit, it was pretty darn good and they even have a diet version which is what I ordered. I got the large size because I expected to like it and was also impressed that it included a refill even though I hadn't drunk that much out of it. Every so often I spend a little more on a meal so I like to cut back the next time out and this will be a great place to add to my rotation when I want to spend under $10 total. I think my bill was actually under $6 since I didn't get any sides. Be aware that you order at the counter when you first walk in and then you step to the back of the place, where the tables are, to a different window to pick up your order when they call your number. I understand from another reviewer that an employee was talking about some elderly customers who didn't understand that system, saying unkind things behind their backs and I won't patronize a place that is rude to customers so I will be watching them when I go in. So far so good though.

    Hamburger and fries

Pros: Cherry Limeade, onion rings, fries Cons: hamburgers (reminiscent of burgers from the school cafeteria - kids refused them), long wait time in the drive thru, employees not wearing masks. Ate the onion rings, fries and drank the cherry limeade. Kids took a couple bites of the burgers. I tried burger - it was flavorless minus the school cafeteria beef "smokey" taste.

    Fresh, hot fries from Hud's.

Food and service was a lot of fun really enjoyed the jalapeño coins, onion rings and tots. The BLT on the Texas toast was really good.

Girasol popped up on Yelp and we headed there. Amazing surprise: we had the eggs Benedict and they're so tasty! Juice, coffee, and tea are refillable. Women-run! While we were able to eat quickly, the food was meh and the outdoor eating area smelled like sh*t so we relocated inside. I ordered biscuits and gravy with jalapeño bacon. I LOVED the jalapeño bacon. But neither the biscuits nor the gravy tasted good. The biscuits were more like crackers--hard rather than fluffy. And biscuits (plural) is a bit misleading because it's one biscuit sliced in half and soaked in gravy. Chick-Fil-A makes tastier biscuits. But we visited this place on a Sunday and, unfortunately, Chick-Fil-A was closed. It comes with eggs, but I didn't eat the eggs because they looked like the powdered variety instead of real, whole eggs. My husband wanted a croissant but was told it would take 30 minutes to bake. Maybe we're impatient, but that seemed unreasonable for a "bakery" that had been open for a few hours at that point. So he settled for the smothered burrito. He didn't like that concotion either. The passionfruit teas we ordered were small but good, but not good enough for a return visit. $35 wasted.

Open for breakfast and lunch, Bagel Place at first glance just felt like your regular deli, but they are loaded up with tons of bagels. From your traditional bagels like Everything, Blueberry, and Cinnamon Raisin to unique ones like French Toast, Snickerdoodle, and Sun-Dried Tomato, they all looked exceptional. Inside, the atmosphere is your classic deli. You would think they're slinging Reuben bagels the way it looks inside. Their menu had plenty of sandwich options, but I was eying their current lunch special, which was made up of oven-roasted chicken, pepper jack cheese, lettuce, tomatoes, pickles, roasted red peppers, and ranch dressing. I got it on their everything bagel. For just over $13, it came with chips and a drink as well. It was only a short wait until our food was brought to our table. The sandwich was truly delectable. They do such a great job balancing all the different items in their sandwich, making nothing feel overdone or letting the ranch overpower the rest of it and turn the whole thing too saucy. Their bagels are really the star of the show here because they have so much flavor and are cooked perfectly. The everything bagel was seasoned exactly how you would hope, which made it an especially enjoyable sandwich. As for the staff, they were pretty on top of it and made the whole experience as seamless as possible. Bagel Place is the place. A perfect lunch. RIYL: Bagels and Places

When I walked in, the place was absolutely packed with TTUHSC or TTU Vet Med students who were celebrating finishing their final classes for the year. It was quite busy with a large line in front of me, and since I was staying for a while, I was not in a rush. I ordered a lavender latte, and after waiting just over 15 minutes behind the gaggle of people who ordered before me, my hot beverage was ready. I really liked the cup they served it in. It had a cute mountain gradient with their logo on top. The coffee itself was pretty good. It was not anything groundbreaking, but I enjoyed it for what it was. Having to briefly hop on a call with my boss, I went out to their small outdoor patio and took the call. It was also a pretty decent spot for getting some work done. They serve a ton of different options, and it is probably a popular stop for people in the surrounding medical district to get a quick coffee boost. There were also plenty of people drinking beers and mimosas when I came in, celebrating their semester coming to a close at 9:30 in the morning, so good for them. You love a catch all spot.
