I have frequently used several locations in the area as a monthly member however, this past Sunday I went through the location In Lewis Center and I pulled in with a non cracked windshield and pulled out with a large crack all the way across my windshield. I immediately pulled around and told the clerk there and he told his "supervisor". The young gentleman came out with an ipad and said smirkingly "cracked windshield?" Eluding to the fact this wasn't his first time taking this claim. He Took some pictures and all my personal info. They definitely had a process down pat to claim damages making me believe this car wash damages cars often. I got an auto generated email the next morning saying they take no responsibility and there had to have already been damage before. Horrible customer service. During the Covid-19 outbreak I asked to cancel my membership since I was just charged the same day and hadn't used the service in weeks. I asked for a refund and was given a canned email basically stating I couldn't have a refund because I didn't give three days notice. Considering everything going on in the economy right now, this is horrible customer service. After the Coronavirus issues are over, I plan on going to Ninja Express just down the street. Was gassing up at the Kroger next door to this new business that opened this Summer on 23 'tween Cbus and Delaware and saw the sign for $5 car washes at this strikingly designed car wash. Blue Sky is more than just the name of this business, it's part of the building. This car wash is inside a almost completely transparent building from roof to walls. After paying at the manned window I pulled around to see my next piece of design wonder. Instead of a rail and roller pushing your tires thru this place has two huge conveyor belts you pull onto. No rubbing and damaging your tires on rails here! A quick cruise thru this glass lined tunnel with a major dry system at the end left my Elemental squeaky clean. Even the ass end of my boxy vehicle was very well cleaned which I often find lacking at most auto washes. A U-turn out of the tunnel leads to a large area with plenty of free vacuums and bins to dump all that damn trash in your car (you know who you are). They offer monthly prices if you live in the area but for their basic "express" wash @ $5 really can't be beat on this stretch of road. My son was hired and went in for his 1sty day of training at the E. Powell location. The next day the manager wanted him to call her. She said he was not a good fit for the position, in order for him to get paid for his training he had to bring in the 2 shirts they gave him for the job. When he told me it sounded like a threat that they were not going to pay him unless he returned the shirts. That is illegal not to pay a minor for working. I will never use this car wash again and will take my business elsewhere. read more

My son has been intrigued by this car wash since he has been in preschool. My husbands car needed a wash so we gave it a try! Did a great job cleaning the car, which seems rare these days. They also have free vacuums which blew my sons mind! He was SO excited to get to vacuum the car there, the set up is nice too because as long as they aren't super busy you can have 2 people working on your car at the same time. Now I just hope they take my car there so it can get cleaned and vacuumed read more

Terrible customer service. I was receiving a monthly receipt via email, and they just stopped sending that. I contacted them to ask about that, and cancel, and no response for either. I have tried calling multiple times, but they never answer. They let it ring 4 times and then go to voicemail. After calling for 20 minutes straight, they finally picked up. They informed me i needed to cancel online, or in person. I have also tried to cancel online, again, multiple times, and it only ever gives me a "Try Again" message. I sent yet another email, and finally got a response saying they cancelled my membership finally. read more

Blue Sky handled my complaint with class. I'm retracting my previous complaint below and remaining a customer. I have belonged at the monthly fee for well over rated year. Tonight the staff let two pay per wash folks ahead of me and when I challenged him he scolded me and told me l didn't wait when he told me to. All I did was pull ahead to the bar while I watched the non Subscribers pull in front of me. Peyton i think? I asked to speak to the owners and they wouldn't share the number. I am an entrepreneur myself and always want to hear feedback. I have been talking about the overall experience with blue sky with friends. But now no more. I came to Blue Sky along with most of Lewis Center last Sunday when it was warm and sunny. The line extended into the Kroger parking lot, but they got things moving fast. I bought the $10 package, the car wash did a fine job cleaning, however the dryer time was really short and it didn't get my car all the way dry leaving water spots. It's nice they have free vacuums, I didn't get to try them. read more

Really wanted to use them, but after recent experience, just cant and wont recommend. Machine broke the rear wiper off my Audi Q7. They replaced it with cheap China knock off from online E-Bay store...which broke again on the very next wash. Tried to replace again with after market part even after I specifically said and expected an OEM part. Rather than make it right, they simply told me to fix it on my own and cancel my monthly membership with 3 months credit. Very poor service for a service industry. So, be ware. If they damage your car, expect cheap knock off parts as a replacement and if you complain, their answer is that they would rather see you go than make it right. read more

There is some major construction going on beside the car wash. While I was there trucks were moving on the site creating huge "sheets" of dust from driving over the dirt site. My car was dirtier after washing it than before. Suggest not using the car wash until construction is completed (or on weekends when no one is working there). read more

Im a monthly member and so far am very satisfied. However because they do not have a gate at the exit, i've noticed people pulling in to the vacuum area through the exit without using the carwash and i have to wonder if they are even paying customers. read more

I went despite seeing negative reviews since my nearest car wash charged $0.50 for three minutes of vacuuming, most of which were out of service. I decided to go for the basic car wash for 5 bucks and was greeted by a super friendly cashier who showed me exactly what to do. The car wash was decent for the money and the unlimited use of the vacuums was awesome. It took all the gravel, mud, leaves, and debris out of my car. Would definitely return to Blue Sky. 1 Star deducted since the advertised floor mat cleaning machine was broken. read more

This is one of the worst car washes I've ever been to...I went through and paid 10 dollars for a wash and then they have you go through while another car is still in there so I'm confused how you get what you pay for! I had so many streaks on my car that it was ridiculous I had to clean it up myself mostly...Also the vacuums aren't very good they are too big and have no suction really thank god they're free! I gave it two stars because the guy didn't argue with me he just have me a second wash free which was nice. read more

Horrible experience, as the owner humiliated me, treating me like a criminal when the sensor didn't read my membership tag. Even after he made me back off the conveyor and wait several minutes while he "looked it up" he told be this must have been my fault for the sensor not reading (a frequent occurrence in my experience) and never apologized. When I argued with him ( I was pretty upset by then) he cancelled my membership without a refund. Too bad, as the rest of the staff are very good and professional. Will never use again. read more

I went through this car wash Saturday around 5:00 pm, as I had just left Kroger's Marketplace where I work. I wanted to get the grime washed off my car and the $5.00 sign was out so, why not?? NEVER AGAIN!!!! The water was filthy and, yes I did, see the dirty water wave over my car. The Attendant did not put plastic over my wipers so they were all over the place. If that wasn't bad enough, when I pulled out the grime was still on my running boards...OMG!!! COLD, DIRTY WATER. So I left $5.00 less in my pocket and got to take the grime with me. read more

Really good (Not perfect but none of them are) with a great design & wonderful staff

I drive a Ford Raptor and have had numerous problems with car washes because of the size of the vehicle. A friend of mine who also owns a Raptor referred me to Blue Sky and said he doesn't have any problems at all going through the wash there. So I gave them a try and was very pleased with the way the conveyor system works and the way it makes my truck shine every time! I now do the unlimited wash pass and go there a few times a week! Staff at the Powell location is rude. I showed up for a wash and was informed that I could not receive a wash due to my car having a trailer hitch. I have received hundreds of car washes with a trailer hitch without anyone having a problem. In addition there is no signage that indicates that trailer hitches are not allowed. The staff member who told me this was arrogant and a general D***. Take your business to a other car wash such as Moo Moo car wash. I have never had any problems with that business. read more

Used one time on 3/14/18 and the machine broke the antenna on my car. I used the credit card machine because there was no one at the window and paid $19. Unknowing they have been charging my card every month without my OK. As stated I only used this wash once and it has cost me repairs in excess of $100 plus they are acting as if this is an ongoing contract. read more

The employees are very friendly and helpful. They have free vacuums and if you wash your car once a week like I do their membership is a good idea. They are in a good location next to a Kroger, Gas Station and Dairy Queen. I normally get gas, go through the Diary Queen drive through and get my car washed. read more

Just okay. I really want to love it, but the only thing holding me back is that you are expected to pre-treat your own bugs/front end! Seriously? Every other car wash I've been to, there is an attendant at the front of the wash to do your pre-treat scrub. Well not here! They want you to awkwardly park, get out, slosh a broom up and down in a bucket (I'm always inevitably in work clothes), and get dripped and spattered on by pre-treat solution. No thanks. Unfortunately the washes don't adequately get off the really caked on bugs if you don't do this first. On a positive note, the price structure is great, as well as (most) of the free vacuums. If they changed this job to the guy at the front, who all he seems to do is give you a thumbs up, this would be a five star review. read more

Pretty nice place. I bought into the monthly plan and really like it. I can tell that during the busier days it seems the conveyor belt ran much faster than other days but I have no real facts to base it on. Haven't figured out the plastic bag on the rear wiper ...I understand it's to keep the wiper from getting caught on the washer / rotator but the car in from of me got a plastic bag over the wiper and I did not. They also seem to cram the cars though there leaving only a couple feet in between them which gets a little nervous towards the end if the guy in front wants to suck every last second from the blow driers. One last thing. They are randomly closed during sunny winter days depending on temp or occasionally for maintenance and unless you call ahead (and hope they pick up the phone) you will waste a trip to see them. If they would update their Facebook page or voicemail on days they unexpectedly close it would be great ! All and all a great place to get your car washed. Very nice facility. I recommend. read more

We have been monthly members since Blue Sky opened. We wash our cars 4-5 times per week, especially in the winter. They have convenient hours and the employees are always very nice. We also appreciate the free vacuums which do a far better job than the ones in gas stations that you pay for by the minute. read more

After purchasing a brand new black pick up truck, I applied several coats of wax to the entire truck. Obviously, the truck was flawless when several days later I took it through this car wash. While I was hand drying it I saw significant scratches on the hood and also on the sides of the truck. When I approached the manager/owner to ask if he would come and look at my truck, he immediately became defensive and kept repeating that "the soft cloths can't possibly scratch your vehicle." Contrary to his rehearsed response, I spent hours with scratch remover addressing all the scratches. I will never return and advise others to stay away. read more
