It's not perfect. Sometimes machines have a mind of their own. The new payment system sometimes hiccups. Sometimes some sketchy things happen in there. But it's gotten so much better than the past. They really have put in the care and effort to be better to the neighborhood. And they are very responsive when there are issues to be resolved. read more

Very clean and well maintained for how many people walk through those doors each day. yes sometimes the washers have a malfunction, or the dryers throw error sounds. It's an over all great place to get your clothes cleaned, with amenities like a tv and easy access to fill up a blue sky card. read more

We stop coming here for a while now, due to the broken dryers seem like it hasn't been fix in months. And people are rude their already reserving dryers for their clothes when their machine hasn't even stop yet. Which I find it ridiculous! While I love the location, it's clean and tidy, and I feel safe using this place be WARNED! You had better be done with your laundry by 1030. It's says there open till eleven but she closes the doors at 1045 even if you have clothes in dryer. She doesn't say anything or warn you beforehand either. Even if you're standing right outside the doors. The Hispanic lady that comes to close the place is extremely rude and I mean yelling at people rude! The first time I met her, she got so upset that I wasn't don't with my load at exactly 11. She got so upset she began yelling at me! I was so shocked. she closes the doors 15 minutes early before eleven and does not care if you have clothes in there. Go early! You don't want to have to interact with this lady. I have been to both Blue sky laundromat. In Gresham . Today At St Johns. . Put my wash in the $ 10 machine . Walk away come back in the machine is dead . All screens are black . I can not open the Machine door. I panic for a moment found the number to call. Nice lady answered the phone . Told her my situation . She tells me 30 minutes someone would help me . It is 7:30 am . Lady shows up is very helpful . But we still can not open the door . So she states the repair guy will come at 9. She tells me that she will wash my cloths and dry and fold them . I will do appreciate that . But I hope they offer me some free washes in the future . I figure some gas money for having to come back . It is 11 am . Hope they call me soon . I took my laundry to this place 3 times. The first time the experience was good. The second time they forgot my laundry and when they remembered they dyed a load pink. I thought well that happens sometimes so tried one last time. The third time they had two weeks to finish as I was traveling for work. They forgot the laundry again and I had to text them to remind them. The man who answers the phone - the owner I think, is very nice and always apologetic but at some point it just isn't working. This laundry is in the lot with a Safeway, so always easy to find a parking space, hundreds to choose from, and easy access. Also, it is large, with plenty of machines and many tables to stretch out and fold your laundry. Very roomy. Furthermore, the dryers have good heat, a couple of cycles and everything is dry. However, I bet they have heard this a million times; the payment system is crazy difficult, bewildering, frustrating, really the worst. As far as I can figure out, pretty much everybody uses credit cards to pay for the machines. There are signs on the walls , signs on the machines telling you how to pay, how to add time, and other signs telling you what you might have done wrong if you are having trouble. Makes it abundantly clear just how much trouble everyone is having. Got my laundry done, but the payment process will have you ripping your hair out. There has to be a better way. read more

I don't go to the laundromat often, but once in a while our washer or dryer will break and while the part is on order, we have to make a trip to the laundromat. This is my favorite! It's clean and has WiFi, a great "kids corner" with tons of toys, really nice machines that take debit cards, and nice tables to sit at for waiting and for folding. When I was there on Saturday, there was a customer who was having a really hard time getting his laundry into the machines and the coins into the slot- he appeared to have some kind of neurological issue, and the owner happened to come in and notice. He went right over and asked the man if he could help, said he could sit down and he would get everything going for him. The way he handled it was really touching, just so kind and warm. I already liked this place but seeing that kindness really made my day. read more

This is fantastic laundromat! The location is great as it shares the parking lot with Safeway. You can get shopping and laundry done on one run and save gas. The facilities and machines are always clean and the machines have a sanitize function, thank goodness! There's a play area in the back right corner complete with toys, puzzles, books and chalk which kids are welcome to color on the chalk walls with. Don't worry, there's magazines for the guardians too There's attendants here that will gladly wash, dry and fold your laundry for you. And last but not least, the free wifi. Yay! read more

High end machines that operate coin or credit/debit card. You can even have the washer/dryer text you when the load is done! They have a children's corner, coffee, and vending machines. Needed some help while our machine was being replaced. I called ahead and got instructions. Fill out the form drop off, no contact. Very COVID friendly. Call to let them know you dropped. They will call you when ready. Smooth sailing. Came in at $70 ish for two large bags. Every thing was very clean, no perfume, and neatly folded. Very much appreciate this place even though I will rarely need it. Might keep it in mind after a long trip or other pile up when mom needs some help! Thanks guys! read more

I used to love this place-- it's eco friendly which I appreciate and also generally faster than other laundromats-- except that it's never maintained and more and more machines are broken and unusable every time I come now. It's ridiculous. I will be finding a new laundromat to use after having the machines not work so many times and losing my time, laundry detergent and sometimes money. My husband & I have been using another laundromat we have LOVED since we first moved to Portland in 2016, but I recently discovered Blue Sky after some work schedule changes had made it difficult for us to get to the other laundromat. Blue Sky is closer to home for us, has the same high efficiency machines that take coins AND cards that we enjoyed at the other laundromat, AND they open at 6 am! I was bringing our toddler with me to do laundry at the other laundromat we had been using because they don't open until 8 am. Since Blue Sky opens at 6 am, I am now able to come get our laundry done while my husband & daughter are still sleeping, which has been WONDERFUL!! I also had a small issue today when I arrived, and after calling the assistance line and talking to the owner, she texted me a few minutes later to follow up with me! I was not expecting that and was so grateful that she took the time to reach out and make sure things had turned out okay. I am so glad this place exists!!! read more

Washers up to 75 pound capacity. 75 pound washers handle "8 loads", and cost $9 - $11 per use (depending on options). They also have cheaper prices before 8 am and after 9 pm. Large dryers are 25c per 5 minutes. You can get change for $1, $5 and $20 bills from a machine, buy a gift card, swipe your credit card or use Apple Pay. Machines in good repair. Water gets HOT! Machines will text you when there's 5 minutes left in your cycle. They also have a drop off "wash and fold" service for $1.25 per pound (10 pound minimum), and will launder large items like comforters starting at $12.50. I washed and dried a queen size feather bed (mattress pad thing) for under $20 and it came out clean and fresh. There are lots of signs warning users to not dry unwashed clothes in the dryers (that's a thing!?!?), so don't do it -- it's gross... and stupid... and pretty useless. read more

This is the dirtiest place ive been to. The washers made my blankets stink and they werent even wet all the way when I took them out. They were half wet. They stunk like a dirty dog when I took them out. The lady who works here offered to pay to wash one blanket for me. Then blamed the dirty blanks on the pods I used. I used tide pods. What the he'll? I ended up spening $80.00 to wash and re-wash my blankets. The toy area is dirty as well. The toys are so dirty their black. You qould think that any kids who play with the toys would get sick. read more

I had a wonderful experience at this establishment. It is the nicest laundromat I've ever been to and the man who owns it was wonderful! He helped clean my wheelchair and even used his own tools to get my seatbelt off. He was thoughtful and pleasant, offering help at every possible moment. I go here every so often with large quilts and sofa covers, anything too over-sized for my little setup at home. What a great place, very clean and easy. I bring the detergent from home so I can't speak to that, but I was especially impressed this time with the pay set up. I was swiping my card on a couple different machines and had to swipe like a 3rd time when I changed the setting - I finally tried the ApplePay on my phone and it worked perfectly! Charge(s) went on my card a couple days later and they were all compiled nicely into one charge too. $12-ish bucks for getting all the big stuff done and pretty great, I didn't have to jingle around with a pocket full of quarters :).
