Used Port Laundry for wash and fold service. Staying at a hotel and laundry services here expensive. Laundromats aren't close by and have bad reviews. Communication and pricing was clear. I called initially to get a quote and see the turn around time. We subsequently texted except for when the driver came a little early to pick up the clothes-- he waited a few minutes since I wasn't at the hotel and expect him early. They offered pickup and drop off for free since I did not need same day return. Clothes returned to me in clean condition. I'd definitely use them again in the future, possibly in this trip. read more

I went to PortLaundry for the first time the other day. It's a tiny laundromat with maybe 3 seats to sit down. The prices are average and the staff members are friendly. There is a parking lot and street parking. The laundromat sells Tide Pods for fifty cents each and dryer sheets 2/25 cents. The thing I didn't like was the fact that the laundromat is small. It's hard to navigate during busy times. They had very few laundry carts as well. I'd go back again if it isn't crowded. read more

Have you ever thought to tip the staff at a laundromat? Me neither! But my experience today at Port Laundry prompted me to do so! It was that good, totally exceeding my expectations, and I left with a smile on my face! It was my first time at Port Laundry, and the husband-wife team (owners?, I hope) were so SO helpful to this newbie customer to their clean and bright business. They were welcoming, friendly, and respectful (but not *too* over-the-top helpful). They saved me a significant amount of time in figuring out which machine to use (I brought in a sleeping bag), how to operate the controls, and more. Even the machines themselves, the washers and dryers, impressed me! I could see that my sleeping bag was really getting cleaned to my satisfaction! I had tried to wash my bag in a machine at our HOA, but it became apparent that I needed a bigger machine. Next time I need a big machine (for another sleeping bag and 2 comforters), I'll know just where to go: Port Laundry :) P.S. Two other customers came in not long after I arrived, and the three of us had such a *wonderful* conversation while the machines did their job. Maybe Port Laundry attracts really nice people? Clean, orderly and friendly. This laundromat does not have a public restroom but those are available at many locations in the area. The parking lot is divided into two sections, the printing store next-door has marked spaces. Bags, soap and softener is available for purchase and if you have a debit card they can give you quarters in increments of 10 or $20. I rarely use laundry services but the two times I've been to Port Laundry it's been a very positive experience. Once to drop off a comforter for cleaning and they did a great job with quick turn around. The second time was our washer broke so I headed there to do our wash. The machines are fast and the folks working there are very nice and helpful. There was no problem with self serve at all. And others were doing their laundry as well. This is my new go-to laundromat. It's small, but the prices are great (about half the price of Spin Laundry) and the staff is very friendly and helpful. You can drop your laundry off with the attendants and they will wash and dry for you for a buck something per pound. It's got everything you need out of a laundromat without costing you an arm and a leg. read more

The machines are pretty fast for a laundromat and the prices are reasonable. There is WiFi and lots of places to grab a beer or a bite nearby. The hours suck and it is pretty dirty. The people are nice. If the hours ever worked for me I would return. read more

Clean, always plenty of machines. Only downside is many laundry machines [washers] have socks/paper in their lint traps. They offer drop off laundry for @ 1.25$/lb, some alterations and dry-cleaning (may be sent out). read more

I have been coming here for years. $2.50 to wash per load and about $.25 for 15 minutes to dry. But be warned your clothes might smell a little bit afterwords the dryer smell burnt and the washers are kind of musty. I only go to wash big items that don't fit in my own washer. It's in a good location but parking is sometimes hard and the place needs a little remodel most machines are usually broken but the workers are nice they greet you every time you walk in read more

Only once have I done my own laundry here. It was fine. I do however use the wash and fold service in a pinch. It is excellent, quick and reasonable. I've had clothes altered. I took in a pair of jeans that were a little too long. I was paranoid they would look homespun. The hem matched the original...and the staff is super nice. read more
