Jhovonnah made sure I was comfortable throughout my treatments (RF Microneedling does sting a bit, but she took the time to really numb my face). I'm a registered nurse, and always have a lot of questions about procedures. I am also very familiar with clean and aseptic practices, and I am very impressed. Jhovonnah is very knowledgeable about all the spa treatments, including Morpheus 8, and answered my questions thoroughly. I'm giving my skin a break for a bit, but will probably get the "deeper" Morpheus 8 treatment here at Georgetown Allure with Jhovonna. MY RESULTS? Well, these treatments are not "instantaneous" because collagen remodeling takes time, and my skin improvements continue for over 6-12 months afterward. I HAVE HAD RANDOM COMPLIMENTS on how my skin looks from friends who did not know I've been doing these treatments. I bumped into a 20 year male acquaintance who I hadn't seen since before I started treatment, and HE complimented how good my skin looked (on a no make-up day)-- that one really struck me! I had 4 total treatments, each about a month apart, starting in October, and I have not had Botox or any other treatment since I started. She has made significant improvements to my skin, especially to acne, which I have struggled with for decades, and some aging. I do purchase the products she recommends, because my goal is to have long-term skin improvement. However, I have noticed that Nichole is mindful that people have varying financial situations and is helpful in choosing products to prioritize in the event I'm not able to buy them all at once. I wish I could have come here during my teenage years, because at that time I took every acne medication under the sun and saw minimal improvements, while Bespoke has been able to heal my skin and keep it healthy. Beyond the skincare, I want to highlight Nichole's kindness and the way she genuinely cares for her clients. On at least two occasions I've had an appointment after going through some major life challenge and each time Nichole listened as I told her what I was going through and made my facial a place to escape everything that was going on. I'm posting this review exactly 1 day shy of being 3 months out from my double eyelid surgery. I…read morecan sum my experience up in one statement - I wish I'd done it sooner! I'd debated double eyelid surgery my whole life but got really interested during COVID. I saw some tapes that claimed they could give permanent double eyelids by using for 6 months or more every night. They worked...until they didn't! When the double eyelids stopped showing up one morning, what I did realize was how looser/lower the skin had gotten from the repeated crease tracing and tapes. Not good at all when compounded with how fatty/thick my eyelids naturally are. I also realized how my eyelids were getting in the way. I was unconsciously raising my right eyebrow pretty much the entire day in order to see better as the eyelid was covering so much of my pupil (which is also to say that my eyelashes were basically invisible at that point). I was starting to develop a wrinkle on the right side of my forehead only from this. Given my family has been debating a trip to Korea for a while, I also thought about pushing off getting my eyelids done in Korea. But I didn't want to spend a good week or so of precious vacation time dealing with recovery. Plus, what if something DID go wrong, I wanted a local doctor I could easily follow up with! I booked a consultation with Dr. Chaboki as he had the best portfolio out of all local doctors. This area already has a limited pool so I wasn't too hopeful when I first searched, and was worried I might have to go to NY or CA to find a doctor familiar with Asian eye anatomy. I needn't have worried as Dr. Chaboki gave me the exact results I wanted. I merely wanted my lashline visible and a defined fold. I've heard some doctors push ptosis correction (even in cases where it might not be needed), and epicanthoplasty alongside double eyelid procedures but there was none of that here. After all, ptosis is a medical condition and a whole different procedure. I booked the surgery and took a 1.5 weeks off of work, even though I work from home, because I knew my eyes would be tired. The procedure was easy-peasy, not to minimize anything since it's still a surgical procedure, but it was so tolerable. I had no ill effects (compliance with aftercare instructions is of utmost importance!). I will say there was a big difference at the 6 week mark in terms of healing. A really natural look settled in by then. And now at 3 months there's an even bigger difference and I don't think anyone would be able to tell unless I disclosed it. Very happy with my results and Dr. Chaboki is clearly a master at his craft and he's SO specialized in facial work, it really immediately shows!

I guess they thought I couldn't hear them. I thought it was going to be a stereotypical med spa full of shallow women who made others feel bad about themselves. I was fully prepared to do the consult since I was already there and then politely decline and never come back. However, Dr. Drysdale more than made up for it. He's not what I would expect from a doc at a Med spa; I expected someone who was going to tell me about everything that was wrong with me and try to sell me every treatment under the sun. He did the opposite. He said, "a lot of people come in here and don't like anything about themselves, but everyone has something nice about their face. I don't care if it's only one little tooth, there's still something beautiful in everyone." Swear I'm not bullshitting. Totally unexpected and definitely got my attention. He gave really thorough explanations about why he recommended the the things he did, and all of them made sense. He also explained why I didn't need to do some of the things I wanted to, and actually made me feel better about myself before I even agreed to do anything. It might be part of a sales technique, but if it makes me feel better about what I naturally have, then I'm definitely buying in. My experience with Dr Drysdale is he wants to help me feel my best. I will definitely say he's a little random sometimes, but I don't mind at all. He asks me what I'm trying to do and helps me get there instead of pushing me to do something I'm not interested in. On my second visit back, the rude girls were gone and the nice receptionist remained. I'm happy going in there now, and I'm happy to see Dr Drysdale. All his recommendations have been on the money. This must be the worst facial I have had in my (pretty long) life. While the products seem of good…read morequality (the brands they sell are good ones and I assume they are the ones they use), the esthetician I got seemed to be a trainee who just did not know how to do a proper facial. In particular when massaging around the eyes, she would touch the eyelid and get cream onto the eyelids and thus eventually into the eye. She was also wearing a stained uniform and frankly did not seem to want to be there. I am well aware that a single, insufficiently trained employee does not mean there aren't really good ones working there, but there should be a minimum level of competence ensured by the franchise especially for a $180 50 mn service. I certainly will never return to any silver mirror.
