We walked out with a $170 check, ordering one beer and soda. For that kind of price, the food was not up to par with upscale Greek places. In short, Plori is just really overpriced mid Greek style food. I much rather hit up Astoria for some good Greek cuisine, or go down the street to Tasty Greek for some kebabs. Yes, the ambience was nice, but the price is just outrageous for what we had. PS the valet is also a scam. We tipped the man and he simply handed us our car keys and had us pick up our own car. While the rest of the menu seems popular, judging by how busy the place was, the mystery meats in the trays didn't look appealing to me either. The beet salad is one of our favorite dishes. Our Passover menu mains: brisket, salmon salmon. (One person also had the ribeye that was on the regular menu and said it was amazing. ) We had one of each of the Passover desserts (flourless chocolate cake, warm apple cobbler) and they were SO GOOD that I wish I had more room to eat more of them! Cons: our waitress didn't know how to pronounce "seder" and pronounced it like "cedar". Bread was automatically put on our table instead of asking if we want matzah instead. One of the staff took our seder plate without confirming if we were done with it (we only wanted our appetizer plates replaced.) I told the waitress not to bother replacing it at this point (though I wish I asked for more haroset), but said to let the staff know for other guests benefit that it should probably stay on the table until the end.
