5/19/08 Got a mani pedi Not the best ones I had. Chipped after one day, not a very thorough job sadly. Nancy and Casey were rushinga and didn't make me and my mom feel relaxed. I love the gel & acrylic nails by Anh and Kim But no no no regular mani pedis! Go else where I'd say :] But stay with Anh and Kim!! 5/13/05 SO i found out that Cindy worked at Jenny's nails. She CUT more then 2 ladies and was told off by one. I will never go to Cindy ever again. That totally scared me Beware ladies ================================ 4/11/08 Okay Cindy did my nails. they are lifting and were done horribly. NO. I will never go back to Cindy ever. Lost a star for the crappy job ----------------- Omg! LOVE THIS PLACE I made an appointment the same day, glad I did. They were really polite and asked me to wait while they finished up They have 3 pedicure chairs, and 3-4 nail stations, and they were so busy. Their manicures are beautiful and the customers had nothing but great things to say. I am glad I went here instead of any of the other places :D I don't know who did my nails but she was sweet and talkative :) I got a two tone red tip nail set. 40 bucks thats it! they were quick friendly and the girl didn't hurt me once! She was very conscious of her tools and my fingers. She did a great job, its been a week and only one side of my midde finger had a small little lift that was fixable. The environment was calm and relaxing I loved it! Looking forward to going back for my fill I want to get the crystal gel :D Finally I found a clean, friendly, safe place! ps TRY their glitter tips sparkly and long lasting! -Isa -------------------Round 2---------------------- I went back for my fill Ann the boss? she did them THEY LOOK AWESOME! Always get my eyebrows waxed here and the lady who does it is amazing! And she's so friendly! The first time I ever got my eyebrows waxed was here & I'm a huge chicken so I was scared it was going to hurt and the lady was really nice about it. And it didn't hurt at all. This is the ONLY nail salon I trust to get my color and shape done just right! The prices are great and the service is fast. For acrylic nails Ann is who you want to ask for. If there's something that you want as far a color/design that you don't see on display just ask! They have some goodies hidden away like matte top coats and chrome nail powders. The ladies that work here are wonderful. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because this nail salon doesn't have the ambiance of some of the "nicer" salons. If you're looking for a spa type atmosphere you won't find that here. If you want your nails done right, you wouldn't go anywhere else. read more

If you like your nails DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE! I went to Blue Sky nails on a regular basis initially for a full set of pink and whites then every few weeks for fills. I have had acrylics since I was a teenager and i have NEVER had anyone destroy my nails to the extent that the technicians (if you want to call them that) did at this place. They shaved my nails so thin that the nail itself was being lifted off my nail bed starting 1/4 of the way up my nail from its base. It was so bad that I couldn't even remove two of the nails without pulling up my entire nail! It has taken me 5 MONTHS for my nails to recover to their full strength. SAVE YOURSELF THE ANGER! The customer service was great, the lady who did my nails was so nice while she was doing my nails. However, the actual nail care was horrible. The nails are incredibly thick, she put the nail polish too close to the cuticle, and the paint job is missing parts. On the sides of my nails there are lapses in the nail polish. When she noticed a huge gap on my thumb she proceeded to just cut that part of my nail off leaving a gap with raw skin. It bled and hurt super bad, a day has passed and my nails still hurt. I am going to take them off as soon as possible. The process wasn't horrible or anything and I hear that it is usually not like this. I am just giving a warning to make sure you get the woman who actually knows how to do acrylics. I don't think I will be returning. read more

It looks like things are getting worse there, not better. I came there yesterday and it was last time that I ever go there. My pedicure was done by a young girl who cut my toes twice, not once. This place is alright. I got a french manicure but instead of white tips, i got purple tips. the lady who did my nails did ok ..although some of the lines were crooked. she just drew the tips on without using the brush to make perfect lines but whatever, it's been about a week and the tips are still intact. they also have two tone glitter tips which were pretty cool ..maybe i'll try those out in the future. what i was absolutely against was the lady who's pregnant and working. she looks like shes due pretty soon yet, she's working at a nail salon? all those harsh chemicals can and will impair the fetus and to discover that she's been working with no maternity leave? and in that kind of environment?? i told her it was bad for her baby and she kind of just brushed it off saying she has bills to pay for. I get the standard french manicure fill every 3-4 weeks. They do a good quality job in a decent amount of time. If you like wider french tips they do that, Anne does mine. Best to make an appointment but u can stop by and see if they have time for you. They do very good pedi cures..lots value for the money. They also do color tips that i have never had but seen and look really nice. Its totally worth trying, its a small place but they are very friendly. read more

I LOVE, LOVE, LOOOOOOVE BLUE SKY! I have been going to this shop for 7 years now & have always been treated like a super star. I get full sets & pedi's. I take my Grams along almost every time & she gets Pedi's. She also had her very first Mani after all these year & Loved It! Every time I get my nails done, I get designs. Not just on one nail but on ALL of them. Sometimes even different designes on EACH nail & have yet to have the same design done twice, Unless I ask for it. Anne is soooo talented! She is not just a nail technician, she is an artist! Everyone who works here is always very kind, happy & never makes you feel uncomfortable. They will also do everything they can to fit you in. That is why I do not mind waiting. They have always bent over backwards to make sure I get fit in, that if I have to wait sometimes I know its only because they were making another clients day. Although they do speak their native language, they always keep you in the loop with what they are saying. Some of the women working there do not speak fluently & Anne translates for them. So I have never felt as if they were talking about me in a negative way, like at some other nail salons I have been to. I have referred so many Clients (I am a hair stylist, I know great service & high end style), Friends, Family & Strangers, I have lost count. The fact that matters is, each and every person I have referred, has also become LOYAL CLIENTS of Blue Sky. They also remodeled recently & it looks beautiful. Based on your recommendations I decided to try it out. I haven't had a pedicure since 3 years ago seeing a horrific peice on the news on some leg disease women had received. This place is small, but make an appointment and you have no problems. Reclining massage chairs!!! Leg massage!!! It is fabulous, and clean. The only reason it didn't earn a 5 is because right next door there is a kid's hair shop and there were screams about 1/2 the time I was in there. Perhaps in the colder weather when everyone closes the doors it will be better! EDIT-- If you go on Sunday then the kids hairshop is CLOSED and it is quiet as can be ! Anne, as well as her employees give all of their clients the "star" treatment. I've been going to Ann for years...as for my girlfriends, mom, sister, and aunts. We love her and her wonderful staff. This shop isn't the fanciest but these ladies do an excellent job in nails and pedicures. Ann is the only one who can do acrylic nails and fills so make sure you always call ahead of time because she is busy back to back all day every day. I do acrylic nails and gel polish and she is the ONLY person who knows how to do a precise, nice, clean, sharp shape without looking like you have "fat bubbly nails". If you break a nail or need a touch-up, just call, she's great at fixing it. She's not mad, she's a perfectionist. I have had to do emergency fills at other salons due to last minute plans and I hate it. No one gets the shape and tone of nails as great as her. She's fast and won't waste any time - she gets the job done and well. The other ladies are awesome too. Warm, kind and funny. Again, not a "high-end spa" atmosphere but fantastic work. I was going to Campbell Nail & Spa for many years but the service has been really quick, and I am unhappy with the results..Searching for another nail place I found this one, its a hole in a wall, behind See's so I never see it..I walked in and it looked like a throwback from the 70's...before I can turn around and leave, they had already came to me and sat me down, I was the only customer there..Ok, that place looked really old and dirty so I was worried..BUT, the nail tech who was doing my pedi was taking her time and doing a great job, and after that she gave me the MOST AMAZING foot massage, and I ended up getting my mani also, and that tech also did a great job and gave me an amazing hand massage..I was in HEAVEN....I swore I wouldn go back bec of how the place looked but it felt so good so I have to think about this one.....Campbell Nails: very clean, good customer service, opi polish VS.
