I came here a while ago to get my nails done with my mom before a wedding we were attending, and it unfortunately wasn't the best experience. We went pretty early and were both looking to get a manicure and pedicure. Since we were the only two people there at the time, I thought we would be able to get the manicure and pedicure at the same time, but we didn't so it took way longer than we were expecting. There were definitely enough people there to have both services done at the same time. The services themselves were okay, nothing great, but the worst thing was that there was a dead cockroach in between me and my mom's chairs. I've been battling nail fungus for nearly two years after contracting it at a previous salon, so I chose Cutiecures Nail Salon because of their commitment to hygiene and policies that go above State Board requirements. As advised by my podiatrist, I've invested in prescription meds, doctor-formulated polish, and personal tools. I even pay extra for the organic pedicure to avoid shared products. I've left a tip of over 20% each time I've been here, trusting they understood my concerns. This was my sixth visit, and despite clear instructions about using only my tools and polish, the nail tech used a communal base coat on my nails. When I noticed and mentioned it, she brushed it off, removing the polish quickly but with little regard for my concerns. Then, she tried to disinfect my personal tools in the communal solution. When I asked to speak with someone, I was told she might not have understood, but the experience left me uneasy and frustrated. After all the effort I've put into staying fungus-free, I felt my concerns weren't taken seriously. I'm hoping I don't have to start this battle again. I truly wish this salon could improve its approach to customer health and respect individual requests. read more

I'm so glad I stumbled upon Cutiecures because Chloe is an absolute godsend! Her customer service and expertise is absolutely deserving of five stars. Cutiecures Nail Salon is located in downtown Saratoga, found between Bell Tower Cafe and Starbucks. After having a late lunch at Bell Tower Cafe on the Saturday before Labor Day, I decided to get my nails done since I was in town for my husband's cousin's wedding. Plans to wear open toed shoes with my dress, I thought it would be nice to get a pedicure. So I went inside around 2:15 pm. I was greeted by an employee behind the counter and asked if I would be able to get a pedicure (after I had inquired the price). I ended up deciding to also get a manicure since my husband encourage me to (he even paid for it all). I ended up getting the Cutiecures package of both a mani and pedi for $40. But because I wanted gel for my mani, it would cost an extra $15, total of $55 (prior to tip). I had 2 ladies work on my right away after deciding that there would be enough time to do both (within an hour) before heading back to get ready for the wedding and off to the wedding site in San Jose. When I sat down at one of the comfy chairs, I was asked if I would like anything to drink. I opted for water, which was brought right away with a slice of orange in it and a small container of mixed nuts (a nice touch). Soon after, warm water was brought so that I can soak my feet in it. Shortly after, my hands and feet were both worked on. Unfortunately I did not catch the names of both of the ladies working on me so diligently. But they were friendly and I enjoyed my conversation with them during the entire process. There is numerous of colors to pick from for either gel and non gel polish. I really wanted something sparkly (goes with my personality) and so I asked the employee working on my nails what she would suggest. She brought me a few different shades of pink polishes to try and I did like one over the other one. But I felt like it was still missing something. So she suggested putting on a gold polish on top once the pink dries, in which she did. I liked it but I think she could tell on my face that I wanted even more sparkles. And so she brought over a silver polish to add just a bit more (both the gold and silver goes on clear so you can still see the pink polish). I loved the additional gold and silver confetti like pieces that these polishes added to the pink. They were also added to my toes too (I had a different shade of pink on my feet). With about 3 weeks passed since I got my nails done, they are still going strong. I love that that polish has not chipped of lifted when doing day to day activities like washing hands, opening doors, opening jars, opening drinks, etc. This was the best experience I have ever had with any nail salon and the after math of long lasting polish. But I have never gone to a nail salon that charges as high as this place does (I have only gone to places where gel manicures cost $20 and only $10 extra for pedicures as a package). But even though a bit higher than others that I have gone to before, the results are worth the extra money spent (along with the superb service). Too bad I do not live in this area, I would definitely come back here and would love to treat my mom to some much needing pampering. Please note that although this place does take credit card, they do prefer cash (tips should be in cash if you still need to pay via credit card). The employees here speak Vietnamese but English speaking clients can still communicate well with the employees here. I am not Vietnamese, nor do I speak Vietnamese (well I do know some profanity words though, lol), I was able to enjoy the conversation with the employees working on me just fine (I am a chatty person, what can I say?). With the parking situation, it can definitely be a challenge, especially on a busy weekend or after work time on a weekday. I was fortunate to get a parking spot on the street (please be aware of the time limitations/ requirements to avoid getting towed or a ticket). Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed my experience here, thus my 5 star rating. read more

FIVE STARS all the way! Giang, the business owner is extremely responsive and quick at getting back to you regarding appointments if you message her through Yelp. I've never seen such quick service for a nail salon before. Not only that, but she was very flexible and allowed me to change my appointment times several times. My life gets crazy sometimes and my schedule can get hectic, but she was very accommodating and answered all my questions accurately. The place itself is a bit hard to find so keep an eye out for Chase & Starbucks and you will see it tucked in the corner of the plaza. The parking lot is quite small but luckily there's many public parking lots in Downtown Saratoga. I expected the gel manicure to be pricier than other nail salons just because Cutiecures is located in downtown, but it was actually only $32 which I believe is standard! The lady who did my gel manicure was gentle. The gel feels thick and secure on my nails and I have a feeling it will last a long time without chipping. She really did a good job and gave an arm massage in the end with some sweet smelling lavender lotion. You also get a drink of your choice: Orange Juice, Lemonade, Tea, etc. with almonds. Cool tip: You get 5% off if you pay with cash! If you need to withdraw cash, go to Chase right next door! ;) I will for sure be returning in the future! read more
