I even called before my appointment to add a pedicure to my manicure service, and at no point during that phone call did anyone mention that Jenny would not be there. If they knew she wasn't working that day, that would have been the perfect opportunity to let me know and discuss other options. When I arrived for my appointment, Jenny was nowhere to be found. I was initially told that she had gone home sick, but later learned that Jenny doesn't even work Fridays. Being given conflicting information felt dishonest and unprofessional. I then asked if Emma was available, and I was told she was fully booked for the rest of the evening. However, while I was getting my pedicure, I noticed Emma sitting free and later taking a walk-in customer for a pedicure. That was especially frustrating considering I had a confirmed appointment and was trying to find an alternative after the salon's scheduling error. The technician who ended up doing my manicure seemed rushed, and the quality was disappointing. My nails were misshapen, and I didn't receive any design. It was simply a cat-eye polish application. The pricing was also frustrating. I understand nail services can vary in cost, and I have happily paid around $75 or more in the past when I've received detailed nail art or designs. However, this visit was just a simple cat-eye polish with no design, yet I was charged $90. The salon's online pricing listed the service at $56, so the final charge felt excessive and was never clearly explained to me. It's disappointing because I've had great experiences with Jenny and Emma in the past, which is why I've continued coming back. I'm really picky where I get me toes does because I'm scared of infection (which I have got from a salon before) I haven't done a pedicure in a year because I had to get my big toe nail removed and the healing takes a long time but based off the environment I think I'm safe here. I am only rating 3 stars because I didn't get the nails that I asked for. I showed the nail tech the picture and offered to send the picture to him so I could make sure I got what I asked for. He declined, and put stiletto nail tips when what I needed was square nail tips. After attaching all the nail tips, he then offered to take them all off and start again because it isn't what I wanted. I honestly didn't have the patience or time to start over, plus why damage my nails even more? I decided to not get the french tips, just got natural coffin shape shorties. I really want to love this salon.I do. I came here a couple of years ago, and it's always been fantastic. The ladies are doing a decent job. The salon has gone completely downhill, and it 's absolutely filthy. The box marked "clean", contained dirty instruments, and when she dropped a nail file on the floor she picked it up and put it right back in the box. They reuse all instruments and files on bare nails without any sanitization . I booked a Russian or Dry manicure with builder in a bottle only. BIAB, builder gel. Because they grind down the nail so much after applying the builder gel, she then had to put two coats of color on top. Not what I asked for but I get it, they are in a rush. I had actual photos of my last Russian manicure, and asked for SAME. Ummmmm. She wasn't ready when I arrived, so she started fifteen minutes late. I was the first appointment of the day. I know they have back to back appointments alll day, but rushing through a $70 job is not what I expected. $71.50 becuase I used a debit card. I tipped $10 on top, because I'm not a jerk, and she tried. Pro tip, use a translator on your phone, so you can listen to the conversations that they are having around you. It's usually fun chatter, but it's really REALLY loud . It's very upbeat here, and not relaxing at all. But if that's your vibe, I get it. The edges of my nails were not cleaned and somehow dirt got pushed underneath. The stations have no way to pull air or dust away, so we are all breathing each other's dust. A deep cleaning of the salon is absolutely necessary. The appointments should be longer than forty five minutes in duration. I'm very happy to pay much more for a professional job, if the time is extended and the technicians are given a little more time. A great place for a quick fix. At distance my nails look decent, but up close, it's absolutely not what I expected or paid for. read more

Will did a spectacular job on my nails.The salon I regularly visit was fully booked today so I contacted this salon through yelp and got a response within minutes. I was excited to go somewhere that looks well equipped to do fun designs. At the other salon I go to I am used to having to sit for at least two hours for any sort of design due to their speed. Will had it ALL done in less than an hour and a half. My impatient self was very happy! I also had broken my middle nail very low yesterday and Will was able to help me put a new tip on it and the pain level remained low. He assured me that while that nail looks a little different than I'm used to right now next time when my natural nail is more grown out we can get it looking more normal.
