First time coming here today, and I'm so happy I found this place! I've been looking for a new nail salon, and this one exceeded my expectations. I got a manicure done by Julie, the manager, and she was incredibly sweet, accommodating, and did an amazing job on my nails. I absolutely love how they turned out! I also got a pedicure done from Kayla, who was just as kind and made the experience so relaxing. It was exactly what I needed after spending the day walking around in heels. been coming here for a loooong time and have just recently stopped because they totally went downhill. When i first started coming here a year ago, they charged $40 for a full set with designs and I thought it was amazing.. fast forward to now- HORRIBLE! they try and up-charge you for every little thing.. the little pamphlet in the front said a fill would be $35 but when i sat in the chair somehow they were trying to charge me $75 for a fill with a simple french design and the lady said that pamphlet is old with "old prices on it"??? then maybe change it to the updated prices?? their loyalty program is also trash- every 8 points you get is 5% off but they refuse to even give that to you.. one last thing- I brought my best friend with me to get our nails done and she speaks fluent vietnamese and she was horrified to find out all of the ladies talk very poorly about the customers in their native tongue. It's absolutely disheartening and gross to hear the things they say about you right in front of you! long story short, i used to love the place down and put 10+ of my friends on to this place but the vibes are horrible now and it's safe to say none of us will be returning here! read more

I've been getting my nails done here for about two years and have had some of the best manis. I had a brown set of gels done in December that lasted 4 weeks. I had one nail with that set that separated after a day and the salon re-did it for free. On Monday this week I had my first mani-pedi here. I had gels for both. One of my toe gels totally came off after a day, and my left thumb polish came off the same afternoon that I had the mani done. Since then, I had the gel on my left hand fixed (so I came back once on Wednesday, then Thursday (yesterday) two nails on the right hand both separated in the same corner. I just had those two nails re-done and asked for the right color, but it's a different color. It's just really strange and disappointing to have to get a mani fixed twice- seems like the prep wasn't great this time around and last time around. I'll be back one more time after this but it may be time for me to find a new salon. read more

This is THE pedicure spot in my humble opinion. I always get the deluxe and not many places will do hot stone massage with every pedicure package, but this place does that. My deluxe also comes with paraffin wax & massage. They even serve complimentary beverages like tea, coffee, water, and sparkling water. The workers don't have ful blown conversations in their native language like many other places, which I appreciate (I'm Vietnamese, so I understand it all, but I'm just speaking up for my other girlies). So this is definitely a relaxing vibe kind of place. It's usually very quiet when I go even with the salon chairs all filled. More often than not, I'm able to call and come right in without an appointment. Everyone working there is polite and gentle. They have well working massage chairs for pedicures. UPD: In less than 2 weeks, their gel came off and one of the nails broke. They ruined my nails. I am updating the photos. I would give --1 stars if I could. Just got back from this salon. Someone has to post this because it looks like there are a lot of friends & family reviews that people actually believe. Check out the photos. These are real, unfiltered shots of a walk-in service at Nails Heaven as of 02/04/25. I asked for a simple gel removal and reapplication. Easy, right? Well, for the tech, maybe. For me, not so much. First, she drilled off my old gel, along with the surface of my actual nails, leaving them flat and thin. Then she used some aggressive solution that made the remaining gel shrink before scraping it off with a metal tool. Now look at how the new gel was applied. A full 1mm from the cuticle, which means I'll have to come back in two weeks. Look at the shape and the size overall application of the gel. If this is your idea of a good gel work, this place is for you. By the way, it cost me $35, and the tech still had the audacity to ask about tips... Last time I came here (six months ago, for a pedicure), I had to walk back in from my car and ask them to fix the gel -- it was all over my toes. Clearly, nothing has changed. I've seen my fair share of both horrible and great nail salons. This one? Definitely more on the horrible side. I'll probably have to fix their gel myself at home sometime soon. read more

This is my go to nail salon. I've tried quite a few in the area and this one is my preference due to service quality and availability. I will stay over the last four years I've been going. I've noticed they've gotten more busier so definitely suggest making an appointment either by calling ahead or online. I've always found that these nail techs are very kind and accommodating to whatever type of colors and design you want. Prices are definitely reflective of local market rates. read more

My friend and I went on a mani pedi date to get my nails done for my bachelorette party and her belated birthday celebration. We felt super pampered because there were two ladies working on our manicure and pedicure at the same time! :O I'm used to getting my manicure first at one area and then pedicure the next, but it does speed up the process to get both done at the same time. The ladies that worked on our nails were super sweet and friendly! They got to know us and we got to share our commonalities too. :) Lien did an excellent job on my nails! She NAILED it, and it looks better than my inspiration photo. Tien did my pedicure and she was nice and gentle. Jules did my friend's pedicure and she was very gentle and was very friendly also. They used a tool to remove callouses that reminded me of a shaver but it's gentle and probably more effective than what other places use. Ambience: Spacious and clean place without the chemical smell of nail salons. The ladies were super nice and welcoming. We got a stamp card so we may come back in the near future. 5/5 for their deluxe pedicure! Nails Haven has been my go to salon for pedicures. I've gotten at least 3 deluxe pedicures with them in the last 7 months and they never disappoint. Every pedicure I've had with them has been a great experience. They do an amazing job cleaning and cutting, the hot stone massage feels fantastic and the paraffin wrap leaves your feet feeling so smooth. I've only gotten two gel manis here and I wouldn't say they go above and beyond, but it may be because every time I've gotten it done I've been in a pedi chair. It always feels rushed. It's still a job well done but I have a better impression of their pedis. They have been my go to since I've moved to San Jose and they do not disappoint! The lady who did my nails did a fantastic job at painting my nails. The polka dots added a special touch! He complimented the colors I chose. - All staff are continuing to wear masks while the mask mandate has been lifted, which shows me they are playing it safe and care about their customers. Cons: - My only complaint is how the ladies kept moving from one person to another, while they were not finished with the original person they were working on. I understand all nail salons can get busy... but I believe that we are all patient and understanding enough to wait for our turn. Nails Haven opened up a few months ago in West San Jose, off of Steven's Creek. The Yelp reviews are great so I decided to come in to indulge in a pedicure. I was able to make an appt very easily online through their website. But I also noticed others walk-in, so they accept both. The salon is bright and spacious and very nicely appointed. The chairs are all brand new, modern massagers with large foot basins. They have mani-pedi options as well as many other services and add-ons. Kim was my nail tech and she was awesome. By (aka Maddy) and Jules did an exceptional job on my deluxe mani and pedi! They both were so detail oriented and made sure I loved the color and styles. Both of them sampled the color I wanted on one nail first to ensure it was exactly what I wanted before moving on to paint the rest. Jules was so great that even though we came in late, she stayed over her time and went above and beyond in making sure I had the best experience possible. It's an 50/100 you'll get what you want. My first time here was great. I got a cute simple design of French ombré tips. They even asked how I wanted them done. At first I was just thinking simple paint the French tips, but then asked if I to try air brushed ombré. Which of course I did and they came out great. My second visit I showed a picture from their reviews that I wanted to try which they looked confused but did it. It was another French tip design and my OCD kicked in the lines looked off. I had to ignore it because I didn't want to walk back to let them know. And yes I didn't notice tell I got home. I was pregnant at the time and was too tired to look. But if you're okay with basic designs they can do it. Theirs shop is cutely designed and there's no waiting time either. read more

This salon was my back up to go to when the place I used to go were closed or too busy. I have not been turned away or waited too long since Ive been a regular patron now for 3yrs. They are always friendly and accommodating to what you want done. I really like how they do Ombre nails and some salons are not as good or do not do this type of nail art. I dont have a favorite person I go to, but each one has been able to do what I asked. Their spa packages are relaxing and awesome too, when I can afford it , but still a nice treat for yourself! My tip...make an appointment for something you want in detail. They run pretty busy at times, so getting a quick fix or dropping in may not be best if you got other appointments or things to do afterwards.
