In the soccer game tonight at 8:50, which featured SunCo vs Sun Toppers, there was numerous missed calls on both teams and aggression towards players during and after the game. The buzzer sounded, indicating the end of regulation with a tied score of 6-6. Shortly after that, a player on Sun Toppers shot the ball and the SunCo goalkeeper let the ball go in because the game was over. Junior counted that shot as a goal and declared the Sun Toppers victors over SunCo. Players on SunCo tried to explain to Junior that the buzzer had sounded, so the players had stopped playing. The official rule says when the buzzer sounds, the game is over. This decision has me absolutely perplexed. Junior then was verbally aggressive to players on SunCo that were rightfully frustrated and expressed their concerns with his decision. In all of the previous games I spectated, I had never seen this ref before, and I had absolutely no complaints with any decision making. In all my years of playing and watching the beautiful game I have never been as flabbergasted and befuddled as I was after watching the game tonight.

I did not feel that my concerns were taken seriously, and ultimately I was the one who had to leave and cancel my membership after many years. I understand that personal situations can be complex, but when they affect members' comfort and trust, I believe they should be handled with greater care and accountability. It's a thrift type design, so it does depend on what people bring in to sell, but I've never had a hard time finding what I need. They have blade sharpening if you want to bring in your own skates, or they have a huge variety of hockey skates and some figure skates available to buy. Recently, I went in to look for soccer gear. I found matching adult and child soccer balls for my niece and I, and a pair of little cleats for her. They had a huge selection of kids soccer cleats and a good selection of adult ones, too. Pricing is fair, much lower than you'll find buying new and the quality of items is generally very good. The cleats were $15 for small kids cleats, and they were in great condition.
